Description

Situated in Rivotorto, a small village 3 Km from Assisi, the Residenza CieloTerra gives its visitors the possibility to enjoy both the peaceful Umbrian countryside and to easily reach the cities and the most important monuments in the region.

The Residenza CieloTerra was recently built and offers modernly furnished rooms and apartments. Our visitors are welcome to enjoy our private garden and to ride our bicycles in the green Umbrian countyside. All rooms are also equipped for the disabled. Small pets welcome. Costumers who spend at least 2 nights with us will be offered a pretty basket with local Umbrian products.

Breakfast at Residenza CieloTerra is a very significant moment. Each day, we prepare homemade specialties so that our guests have a "sweet and familiar" awakening. We carefully select raw materials, such as fresh eggs, butter from our dairies, homemade jams, coffee from a small local roaster, and we only use our hands to knead the dough, without using ultra-modern aids that we prefer not to use.

In the morning, we meticulously prepare your table on our veranda immersed in the lush garden surrounded by fragrant lemon trees.

This is our simple idea of breakfast: an important moment where you will have the opportunity to exchange a few words or simply choose with us how to organize a beautiful excursion in our splendid region.

Hello! We are Gianluca and Elisabetta, the two young owners of the house. Every morning when we open the window of our house we have the immense fortune to breathe the beauty of Assisi..our city..our heart! The Residence Cieloterra has always been our dream, our goal. Now we have been opening our B&B for twelve years, here we have grown our two children Tommaso and Alice to whom we transmit every day the importance of hospitality and hospitality. The structure is very nice and well maintained by the two magnificent hosts. I say "hosts" because that's exactly what they do: with rare kindness and availability, they make you feel at home. The (sweet) breakfast is among the best I have ever encountered in my travels around Italy, and the cleanliness is excellent. In fact, it deserves a full score of 10, but, wanting to find the classic hair in the egg, we must recognize that being in the outskirts compared to the historic center of Assisi requires moving around by car. On the other hand, it is very convenient for visiting the surroundings because it is located a stone's throw from the most important roads, while staying away from traffic. The structure is highly recommended.

Very good reception, perfect and clean room, quiet, very good breakfast with other guests including a memorable Canadian, laughs. I understand English, more difficult to respond, but with Elisabeth it was a good time and the address of the extra restaurant in Santa Maria; Santucci! I hope to come back here one day with the sun! On the 18th and 19th of June, we stayed for two nights with my wife Marisa on the occasion of the lavender festival in the nearby town of Castelnuovo. We thank the owner, Mrs. Elisabetta, for the friendliness, availability, and excellent treatment received. Spacious, clean, beautiful room, well-kept garden, nice pool, excellent breakfast, just ask and Mrs. Elisabetta promptly made us feel at ease. No noise at night. To try and definitely come back. I have been a guest of the property several times and each time I have been able to notice with how much passion Elisabetta and Gianluca continue to manage a clean, beautiful and welcoming accommodation to the point that you would want to spend your day there, disregarding the reasons why you went to Umbria. Over the years, which never pass for Elisabetta as she is always beautiful and kind, these enterprising guys have always improved, devised and built structures designed to ensure guests a very, very nice stay. Breakfast, unlike when I was their guest for the first time and it was served in a local bar, today has become a reason for cordiality between guests and the managers themselves, tasting simple and genuine sweets prepared directly by them in the green of their garden, which is also beautiful and welcoming. Spending a few days in Umbria is certainly nice, it becomes wonderful staying with Elisabetta and Gianluca for everything you can ask for from an accommodation: location, cleanliness, value for money and everything else. A big hug to Elisabetta, Gianluca but above all to Tommaso and Alice, their two very cute little children.

Large and well-equipped room, with new finishes, very clean, complete with kitchen, in the basement. Due to this, a bit humid. Unfortunately, in my room there is no cell phone signal or wifi. Breakfast in my opinion is the weakest point: drinks are served by the managers one by one, with a dropper, the tea is only pre-cooked with sugar and lemon, there is no bread but supermarket sweets; it could be improved with a buffet. Very good value for money.

I stayed here for one night with my partner after biking the Spoleto - Assisi cycle path. Exiting the route just before arriving in Assisi, in 3 km you reach this beautiful and well-kept structure, definitely welcoming and clean. Reflects the courtesy and friendliness of the owners, Elisabetta and Gianluca. The breakfast, served in a pleasant veranda, keeps you glued to the chair and you wouldn't want to stop. Excellent communication via email. Highly recommended!

We have just returned home from a fabulous weekend in the land of San Francesco and Santa Chiara, happy, moreover, to have stayed in a comfortable, welcoming B&B strategically close to all the most beautiful places in Umbria. It is a pity that the time was short, but in its limited duration, it was a delightful stay with all the comforts and perfect hospitality.
