Our guesthouse is located in Capocavallo, a hamlet of Corciano (a small medieval village listed among the most beautiful villages in Italy).

In just 5 minutes, it is possible to reach a horse riding center for enthusiasts of horseback excursions, and it is easy to reach the starting points of various hiking routes at Monte Tezio and Monte Malbe, which can be explored on foot or by bicycle.
For the little ones, a few kilometers away, there is the "Città della Domenica, " a wildlife amusement park. It was the first of its kind to open in Italy in 1963 by the son of the famous Perugian fashion entrepreneur, Luisa Spagnoli. It is a magical and enchanting place that will surprise both young and old.
The property is located 5 minutes from the junction, making it easy to reach Perugia (and the airport), Assisi, Spoleto, Spello, Todi, Rasiglia, Lake Trasimeno, Cortona, and Arezzo. These last two are splendid towns in nearby Tuscany, less than an hour's drive away.

is located in a small hamlet of the municipality of Corciano: Capocavallo: the etymology of the name should date back to the presence of an ancient horse station, located along the connection between the Trasimeno area and the northern Valtiberina.
Monuments and places of interest:
- The characteristic Rococo-style bell tower (1890), built on a Gothic-style door with a Tuscan arch.
- Remains of the castle walls and one of the old gateways. Originally polygonal in shape and located on a slope.
- New church of San Lorenzo (1929), with three naves, built on the remains of the ancient religious building. It was restored in 2002 after being declared unfit for use due to the earthquake of 1997. Inside, two banners are preserved, one of which (1925) is the work of Petrignani.
- Church of Madonna delle Grazie (13th century), made of terracotta on a stone base. Nearby stands a farmhouse built on the remains of the ancient hospital.
- The Rufini palaces (1200), an ancient watchtower on the outskirts of the Della Cornia territory: it was a border barracks, hunting lodge, and horse exchange station for those heading to Perugia or crossing Italy from the Tyrrhenian to the Adriatic.
Just 3 minutes away, you can visit the small village of Migiana, and 5 minutes away is Corciano, counted among the most beautiful villages in Italy.
For wine lovers, we recommend a visit to the "Carini" wineries, and it will also be possible to buy cheeses and local products from nearby farms.

While waiting for the imminent opening of the water park, families can take walks on the Monte Tezio trails or visit the fantastic Gnome Village of Monte Malbe, go horseback riding at the riding stable, or get lost in the magical garden and suggestive gallery of the FUSEUM art center by the Perugian artist Brajo Fuso.

Nice property, well kept and in a convenient location for reaching Perugia and other places. The only comment I would make is the lack of a kettle in the rooms for tea or coffee. A kettle becomes essential if there are no bars nearby.

If your concern is the shared bathroom, this, like the room, was really well maintained, which I imagine invites people to take more care in leaving it in excellent condition. The manager was helpful and kind, giving us great recommendations on where to eat in the area.

Ci fa piacere condividere che la nostra struttura, L'Antica Sosta, è un casolare rustico di campagna ristrutturato negli anni '80, con il fascino di un tempo e qualche segno della sua lunga storia. Negli anni, abbiamo fatto numerosi interventi per migliorarla, come l'inserimento di pavimenti in marmo e parquet, il rifacimento della terrazza e altri piccoli ritocchi, sempre cercando di mantenere il suo spirito autentico. Speriamo di riaverla presto come ospite, magari per scoprire le prossime novità !

It's a shame about the cold, unfortunately the facility is not very well equipped for the winter season. Fortunately, it was warm in the room and the bathroom was equipped with an additional heater, but the structure was very cold since no one uses it and everything is normally turned off. The room and the bathroom are very well cared for and clean; the owner is very kind and helpful. In summer, it is definitely worth it.

La nostra è una piccola struttura con sole 3 camere ci teniamo che i nostri ospiti possano godere di un soggiorno confortevole e per questo i termosifoni vengono accesi per 8/10 ore al giorno. In più ogni stanza è dotata di un sistema di riscaldamento autonomo con climatizzatori di ultima generazione per questo come anche lei ha notato la camera per la quale ha pagato era calda, così come il bagno provvisto di termosifone e stufetta elettrica. Altri spazi di passaggio come la tromba delle scale non sono riscaldati per ovvi motivi di gestione. L'importante è che vi siate trovati bene! Grazie ancora per averci scelto, un caro saluto

I had a pleasant stay at L'Antica Sosta. My stay was short, but I felt like home. The host Giacomo was extremely helpful and provided me with everything I need when my flight was cancelled. I would definitely recommend it to anyone. Thank you for everything Giacomo! You are the best!

The room is clean and spacious with all the comforts. The bathroom, although shared, is very large and well-furnished with everything necessary for the stay. The owner Giacomo is very kind and available for any of your needs. Excellent value for money, highly recommended structure!

Meticulously maintained structure, excellent cleanliness, I really appreciated that slippers were provided along with the bath linens. Giacomo, the owner, was very kind as I had to postpone the check-in beyond the scheduled time. Everything was perfect. Recommended!
