Description

The bed and breakfast La Palombara is located just 5 km from Cascia, the city of Santa Rita, and 13 km from Norcia, at the gates of the beautiful Monti Sibillini National Park. This charming farmhouse is set in an unspoiled environment, where the countryside and nature are the absolute protagonists. It is the ideal place to relax and enjoy the tranquility of nature.

Located on a picturesque plateau cultivated with wheat, at an altitude of 800 meters, between the municipalities of Cascia and Norcia, the farmhouse was a former farmhouse used in the past as a hay warehouse and cattle stable. The structure has been renovated while retaining its authentic charm. The surrounding oak and maple forests and the surrounding countryside offer the perfect place for pleasant walks.

The La Palombara farmhouse has 8 rooms and apartments of different sizes, to best meet the needs of families, couples or groups of friends. You can enjoy the new swimming pool with a view of the Umbrian mountains. There's also a play area for the little ones to have fun.

My name is Emanuele, I'm 28 years old, and I grew up in the little green corner of Umbria called Logna. I have a master's degree in Linguistic Sciences. After studying and working around the world, I realized that my place has always been here in these mountains. Together with my family, we renovated this old farmhouse and converted it into a small guesthouse. I like to think of this place as the home of an "extended" family, where guests can get in touch with their hosts and leave a bit of themselves here with us. Upon your arrival, you will be warmly welcomed by me, my father Piero, and the rest of the family, who will do their best to make this experience unforgettable.

🌟 An oasis of relaxation with breathtaking views! 🌟 Our experience at La Palombara was simply perfect! The pool with a view of the hills is the ideal place to rejuvenate and enjoy the scenery, amidst relaxation and nature. 🍽️ A breakfast to die for! We greatly appreciated the variety and quality of the breakfast: fresh fruit, cured meats and typical cheeses, yogurt, juices, and coffee... everything was delicious and well cared for in detail. 👏 Very kind and always available staff! The guys at the property were friendly and attentive, ready to give us advice on where to eat well while spending little – and I must say they always hit the mark! 🧹 Impeccable cleanliness, both in the rooms and in the common areas. Additionally, the presence of a kids' corner with a swing was a pleasant surprise, perfect for entertaining the little ones. Everything was perfect, we had a great time! The guys are super hospitable and the place is ideal if you're looking for tranquility and relaxation. We stayed for one night, took advantage of the pool with a view (amazing experience), took a little trip near Cascia and then headed straight to Norcia. Abundant breakfast (great cake), top room with all the comforts. We highly recommend it! Thanks again for everything!

We stayed in this facility during the long weekend of April 25th. The welcome was excellent, they waited for us even though we arrived late and the room was very warm, which was very pleasant given the low temperature at that time. Additionally, the owner provided us with great advice on where to have lunch in Cascia and Roccaporena. Thank you for everything. Goodbye and see you soon.

Friendly and welcoming staff. Available for everything, they do not provide catering but recommended typical restaurants where we could dine. Well-maintained structure! Clean and spacious rooms. Bathroom with everything necessary. Essential breakfast but well-structured between sweet and savory. The donut cake and the tarts were excellent.

Enchanting place dedicated to relaxation with a magnificent swimming pool! Easily reachable from the road direction Cascia (Hotel Elite). I advise against relying on the navigator! We found ourselves in the narrow streets of the village of Logne, between climbs and descents difficult to navigate. But upon arrival, La Palombara surprised us! Wow! The manager Emanuele welcomed us with his kindness. He accompanied us to the room showing us all the areas of the structure. The highlight? The wonderful infinity pool overlooking the valley. Immediately a pleasant feeling of tranquility and peace. Room on the first floor for 4 people with views of the valley and pool view. Delicious breakfast with homemade products: cake and pies super good. Fresh fruit, cereals, fruit juices, yogurt, cold cuts, bread, toast, jams, and spreadable chocolate. Milk, coffee, etc. A well-kept and characteristic structure, nestled among the green valleys and hills. Great also for furry friends. I would only suggest introducing a mini-bar in the room and a desk (but these are small details). Here, you will find the great availability and kindness of Emanuele and his family. They make you feel at home. Highly recommended both for relaxation and as a strategic point to reach Cascia, Norcia, and surrounding areas. We will definitely return.

I stayed in this property with my family after a vacation in Abruzzo. The first impressions were immediately confirmed after check-in: strategic location, spectacular panorama, tranquillity, well-kept greenery, spacious and spotless rooms. A special compliment must be made for the panoramic pool equipped with shower, sunbeds, and gazebos: a real gem. Kindness, availability, courtesy, and sympathy are just a few adjectives that describe Emanuele and Sara, the creators of this earthly paradise. Shall we talk about breakfast? Abundant, varied, and quality with a special mention for the tarts prepared every day. We will definitely return, Massimo and family.

Stone structure well maintained and located in a very quiet natural area with a view overlooking the small hamlet of Logna. The room was very characteristic with a combination of wooden beams and joists and terracotta floor with an external staircase for the entrance to the room. The garden and the pool are very characteristic. Excellent cleanliness and very good sweet/savory breakfast. The managers are very kind and available for any information and request.
