Description

"La Mimosa" is a residential house built in the 80s and located in the beautiful countryside of Spello. Each room is equipped with linens. Guests can also enjoy a large and comfortable private parking. The garden surrounding the house, completely fenced, has delightful corners where one can comfortably relax and appreciate the tranquility and beauty of this land. The structure is located just 2 minutes by car from the historical center of Spello. Moreover, the location is extremely favorable to reach the numerous places of historical, artistic and environmental interest that make Umbria so charming and characteristic (Assisi 12 km, Foligno 6 km, Bevagna and Montefalco 10 km, Perugia 25 km, Clitunno Springs 25 km, Spoleto 35 km, Todi 30 km, Gubbio 60 km). We will be happy to suggest itineraries and recommend typical local places where you can taste the specialties of our regional cuisine. B&B La Mimosa maintains the style of how B&Bs were born, that is, "familiarity", where customers are welcomed as "guests", not just customers! When they arrive, the room, entrance keys and gate remote control are delivered, and routes for the days of their stay are recommended according to their requests! An orientation is given on what to visit and how to move around to save time in traveling between one country and another.

Property in a convenient location, a 5-minute drive from Spello. Rooms are very large, but the furnishings are dated and the beds are not comfortable due to mattresses that need replacing. Mr. Quinto is a very kind and helpful person, and he promptly solved a problem we had in the bathroom. We stayed only one night. I would not feel comfortable recommending the property for longer stays.

Located a little over 10 km from the center, where you can find parking to then move on to Basilicata, San Francesco, Santa Chiara, etc. The owner was very kind, courteous, and helpful. We also used the barbecue for grilling and my son met the sweet dog Lola. As I mentioned before, the location is in the middle of nature. I was with my family of 7 in a very large apartment.

Given that our expectations were not high and we always adapt quite well, the structure is certainly in a good position to reach different cities to visit: Foligno, Perugia, Rasiglia, and Spello itself. Mr. Quinto is a simple, nice, and hospitable man. The structure is simple and the essential things are not lacking; I believe it is definitely necessary to underline that cleanliness is totally lacking, especially in the bathroom, and the bed and bath linens should be completely restocked with new ones.

Hospitality in line with the recognized Umbrian hospitality. Quinto, the owner and master flower arranger, gave us interesting information about the floral displays in Spello as well as some places to visit.
