The Locanda dell’Olmo welcomes its guests in a charming farmhouse from the mid-19th century, skillfully restored and surrounded by the tranquility of the Umbrian countryside. Just a few kilometers from Orvieto, the property overlooks the family estate nestled in the valley of Pian del Vantaggio, a place where time moves slowly among cultivated fields, vineyards, and olive groves, with the Chiani River flowing through the valley.

Managed by Irene and her mother Vilma, the inn maintains an authentic and familial atmosphere, offering spacious apartments equipped with kitchenettes and private bathrooms, tastefully decorated with attention to detail. The Lavanda apartment, spanning 80 square meters and featuring two double bedrooms, two bathrooms, a large living room with a fireplace, and a fully equipped kitchen, is the perfect choice for families or groups of friends. The brick porch with chestnut beams provides open views of the countryside, while the large living room with a fireplace creates a cozy environment in every season. The pool, set in nature, offers moments of relaxation and privacy during the warmer days.

The Locanda is located along the Wine Route, easily accessible from the Orvieto exit of the A1 highway and just 15 minutes from the historic center of the city. The surroundings invite leisurely strolls among vineyards and olive trees, tastings of local cuisine at nearby restaurants, and cultural visits to Orvieto, known for its unique historical and artistic heritage.

Location in a beautiful location immersed in the countryside. Well-maintained structure managed with care and kindness. Appreciated the presence of dogs and cats of the owners. Very functional little apartment with every comfort. I highly recommend it.

Very beautiful and scenic property, unfortunately the owners were not very helpful. Breakfast is good but not very varied. We asked if we could prepare a small pasta for the child but it was not possible after the check-out time even though we had everything with us. Too bad we couldn't use the pool because the room wasn't ready until 8:00 pm and we had to leave the property after 10:30.

Signora Egle, mi dispiace sempre che questi commenti vengano fatti successivamente ma le vorrei ricordare che la sua prenotazione è stata effettuata alle 19 del giorno stesso del check-in e io, purtroppo, ero appena uscita per recuperare degli ospiti alla stazione. Vi ho chiesto se questa condizione poteva andar bene e avete risposto di si. Per la pastina del bambino mi dispiace ma avendo degli ospiti in arrivo, non potevo farvi rimanere nell'appartamento fino alle 13. Se non avessi avuto prenotazioni sareste potuti rimanere al costo extra di 5 euro ogni ora successiva alle 10, 0 (così da regolamento). Per la piscina ho detto esplicitamente che sareste potuti rimanere oltre l'orario del check-out, l'importante era che l'appartamento fosse libero per le pulizie. Vi auguro un felice ritorno!!!! I stayed at the Inn of the Elm with great pleasure: courtesy, friendliness, clean and characteristic environment, good breakfast and above all the possibility to truly appreciate the countryside without missing out on any comfort. Very pleasant also for my daughter thanks to the presence of cute four-legged friends. I recommend it.

A structure that gives you relaxation from the very first moment, a feeling that lasts throughout the stay. We stayed with the children who found the perfect environment to play and have fun in the outdoor spaces and not just by the pool. They felt free to run and play as if they were at home. The Lavanda apartment is very spacious and carefully furnished in detail. We felt well welcomed by the owners. A place that gave us a real moment of rest and carefreeness.

Great everything, the kindness of Mrs. Vilma, the daughter, the welcome basket containing local products and excellent homemade cakes made by the lady. The place is wonderful and the peace is unique. I have been to Umbria many times and every time I go back with my family (my daughter was there when she was just 3 months old), I must say that it never disappoints me. The people are wonderful and this time too we were wonderfully well. I highly recommend going there for the kindness and for the accurate and attentive service. Thanks to everyone, Leone Family.
