The young owners Beatrice and Simone with their two lovely cats Merlina and Artù (they live in a garden close to the B&B), are happy to welcome you, make you feel at home and go the extra mile to provide you with all the information you need to discover Assisi’s main tourist attractions, as well as those hidden gems that you will never find on travel guides!
Our B&B offers one en-suite triple bedroom with a communal sitting room. The whole property has been recently renovated and it is fully equipped with all mod cons: TV, free Wi-Fi and in our cosy sitting room there is a small library for you to pick up books, magazines or leave yours and rest after a long journey.
If you decide to book your stay with us, you will find that – as our name suggests – the vivid colours of our interiors prevail and enrich a decor that is already unique, rustic and medieval with nuances that make it particularly warm and vibrant.

We are Beatrice and Simone, a young couple in our 30s, and we got married on June 28, 2014.
We are nature and animal lovers, especially kittens. We have two, one white and one red: Merlina and Artù.
We love to travel (although Simone is afraid of flying, so it's not easy for us to go overseas by plane!). We believe that every place in the world is worth visiting because each one is unique.
Luckily, we live in one of the most beautiful and fascinating cities in the world. Our dream was to open a business together that would allow us to meet people from all over the world. What better way than to open a guesthouse?
We enjoy taking care of our guests, who may become friends because everyone is treated as such. We believe it's nice to feel comfortable, especially when on vacation, and to feel at home wherever you go.

The little colorful house in Assisi is located a few steps from Piazza del Comune, the central square of Assisi, and convenient for all the sightseeing you may want to do. It is welcoming, clean, and Beatrice is kind and helpful with everything. We felt very comfortable!

Lovely stay at La Casina Colorata. Beatrice was helpful, warm and welcoming, and very communicative. Assisi is charming and so easy to explore from this central location. Comfortable beds, large room, and the kitchen space is convenient. We would happily return tomorrow if we could!

We spent four unforgettable days at La Casina Colorata and we can only express all our happiness. From our arrival we felt welcomed with great warmth: the owner's kindness was truly extraordinary, always available and thoughtful towards us. It is rare to find such authentic hospitality that makes you feel at home immediately. The property impressed us a lot because it is brand new: everything is tastefully furnished, extremely tidy and very clean. You can see there is great love in the care of every detail. We left Assisi truly enthusiastic and with our hearts full of joy. We recommend this Bed & Breakfast to anyone looking for a perfect stay in this splendid city. Thank you for everything, we will definitely come back!

Absolutely fantastic experience. Beatrice made our trip to Assisi perfect; the welcome, and all the contact before, during, and after. Good structure and location to discover all parts of the city. The only thing is that the bed could be a bit better (in my opinion) and that there is no window in the room. But we will definitely come back here.

We had a great time at this property located in the center of Assisi, close to all the main monuments. We were pampered by Mrs. Beatrice who made all the comforts available to us, making us feel at home. The property is very large, with a spacious room and a large and well-equipped living area. The area is very quiet, especially at night. This property is highly recommended for families for its excellent value for money. We will definitely be back.

La Casina Colorata is a small bed and breakfast in the historic center of Assisi (and I mean right in the center) that will allow you to fully enjoy this small and beautiful city. The rooms are very clean and quiet, there is no breakfast, but in the splendid kitchen at your disposal you will find your table and everything you need for a good tea or coffee or to have a quick lunch or take a break. Welcoming and advising you (and making you feel at home) you will find Beatrice, a wonderful host to whom it is impossible not to become attached for her kindness and sympathy. If this city has touched our hearts, the credit also goes to her. Highly recommended!

La Casina Colorata was a wonderful place to stay. I was fortunate to have the larger of the bedrooms which was wonderful. The only thing that would have made the stay perfect was if small containers of milk were provided. There are tea and coffee making facilities but for those that like milk with them, the only option is to probably buy a large container from the supermarket.

Truly central location, just steps from Piazza del Comune. The structure is delightful, clean, and comfortable. Perhaps some details like hooks in the bathroom could be improved, but they are really details. Lovely host Beatrice, she does everything to make the stay easy and enjoyable.

Only positive aspects. Beatrice and Simone are the ideal hosts. Excellent welcome, they make you feel at ease and above all show attention to the customer. Available for any information/need, they know how to make the customer feel 'pampered'. Even though I stayed in the room without a window with a skylight, I was fine, quiet room, comfortable and above all 'clean' bathroom. Structure a few steps from the town square and central for everything, even for those like me who decide to go to Assisi by train, you can easily reach the terminus of the buses that go to Santa Maria degli Angeli.
