Located between Spello and Foligno in an environment characterized by strong artistic interests and a green landscape where vineyards blend with olive groves, Il Portico offers you a welcoming newly built structure.
There are three spacious double rooms, each with a private bathroom and independent entrance.
The breakfast room is adjacent to the portico and overlooks a delightful and peaceful garden, where you can enjoy tranquility and privacy in a hospitable and friendly atmosphere, and where, during the summer months, you can find refreshment and relaxation in the pool.
Just a 5-minute drive from the center of Spello and 2 minutes from the train station, Il Portico offers you an excellent starting point to visit the cities of major artistic and cultural interest such as: Assisi 13 km, Norcia 65 km, Perugia 30 km, Gubbio 60 km.
We also offer the security of private parking with an automatic gate within the B&B area.

Spello has Roman origins and boasts Augustan walls that are among the best examples of ancient city walls in Italy. However, the main attraction is the city itself with its steep medieval streets, staircases, arches, and breathtaking views.
Here, it is also possible to admire stunning works of art painted by two of the most famous Renaissance masters: the frescoes by Pinturicchio in the Baglioni Chapel of the Church of Santa Maria Maggiore, which also houses two paintings by Perugino, and in the Church of San Andrea, a large-scale painting by Pinturicchio.
Today, Spello is famous worldwide for the "infiorata" event, which takes place every year on the first Sunday after Corpus Domini. During this event, which involves the entire community, the streets of the town are decorated with thousands of petals and flowers from the area, creating colorful and intricate "paintings" representing sacred motifs. It is a feast for the eyes not to be missed.

Beautiful structure immersed in greenery with a pool, a stone's throw from the center of Spello, Mr. Paolo kind, helpful and friendly, excellent breakfasts with sublime desserts. Definitely a 10 and praise!

Clean room, kind and helpful owner, good breakfast, nice pool! Structure very close to the center of Spello and a few kilometers from Assisi and Perugia. Highly recommended!

Delightful place, the facility is very clean and well-kept, excellent for the location from which you can quickly reach Spello, Spoleto, Assisi... the managers are very courteous and helpful, the lady prepares fantastic cakes for breakfast. Highly recommended place!

Accoglienza famigliare e calda. Rapporto con il proprietario cordiale e divertente. Struttura tenuta benissimo e piscina proprio rilassante. Fuori dal centro di Spello ma raggiungibile in macchina in pochi minuti. Vicino a supermarket e altri servizi utili a chi viaggia "fai da te". Siamo stati proprio bene. Consiglio a tutti. Ci si rilassa proprio dopo una giornata a visitare i stupendi borghi nei dintorni.

Ottimo posizione strategica centro dell'Umbria vicino a tutte le varie città da visitare parcheggio privato sicuro chiuso pulizia ottima si affaccia un prato verdissimo giardino fiorito curatissimo che da sulla piscina ottima colazione con prodotti locali km zero dolci fatti dalla padrona signora Ornella ed figlio Paolo gentilissimo e disponibile ci torneremo Cristina e Stefano da Firenze.

Ottimo B&B lo consiglio vivamente a tutti, è il secondo anno che ci torno ed è sempre meraviglioso, sembra proprio di essere in famiglia grazie alla disponibilità di Paolo e la cortesia e cucina (per la prima colazione) della mamma Ornella.
La posizione è strategica per visitare tutte le città più belle dell'Umbria.
Le camere sono pulitissime spaziose e dotate di tutti i confort.
La piscina è il fiore all'occhiello di questo B&B per concludere una giornata..

Siamo stati ospiti della struttura 4 giorni.
Arrivando dalla strada il primo impatto visivo non è dei migliori.
Vi assicuro che una volta varcato il cancello quello che trovate soggiornando in questo B&b è tutto genuino e di ottima qualità: colazione, piscina, camere, pulizia.
La signora Ornella (buone le torte a colazione) e Paolo (il figlio) proprietari della struttura sono persone semplici e molto gentili.
Un ringraziamento particolare a Paolo per la sua disponibilita.
Da ritornare sicuramente !

Un B&B veramente accogliente, pulito e spazioso. Noi avevamo una stanza matrimoniale con bagno e accesso diretto alla cucina, dove facevamo la colazione. la cucina era a nostra disposizione per preparare qualcosa da mangiare. Il posto è anche un buon punto di partenza per visitare Assisi, Perugia, Montefalco e tante altre bellezze umbre. Ho dato il voto 9 alla posizione solo perché vicino c'é la ferrovia, anche se di notte i treni non passano e si riesce a dormire benissimo. I proprietari sono gentilissimi (ma comunque discreti) e i dolci della signora Ornella buonissimi. Sicuramente vi troverete benissimo. Noi siamo stati prima tre giorni, dopo avevamo in programma di restare a Orvieto ancora tre giorni ma dopo un giorno siamo ritornati a Spello nel Portico (e penso che questo dice tutto.

Struttura molto bella, nuova e ben pulita, anche in posizione strategica per raggiungere diversi paesi nei dintorni. Gestori molto gentili e disponibili per dare informazioni utili a chi viaggia. Purtroppo la vicinanza alla strada molto trafficata e alla ferrovia non la rende così silenziosa come meriterebbe un posto in una località così amena.

Struttura nuova, molto bella e pulita. Posizione strategica per spostarsi con facilità verso numerose località (Marmore, Norcia, Perugia, Montefalco, Assisi, la stessa Spello che è bellissima).
Molto comodo il parcheggio interno soprattutto per chi come me ha viaggiato in moto.
Piacevole sorpresa ogni mattina a colazione le buonissime torte della signora Ornella.

Struttura molto aggraziata gestita in modo familiare e con professionalità dai titolari.
Sicuramente un B&B da consigliare agli amici e dove tornare per un prossimo soggiorno in zona.
Il voto non alto dato alla posizione della struttura è solo in funzione del contesto stradale non particolarmente bello, di contro il vantaggio è dato dalla vicinanza con la superstrada e dalla completa assenza di traffico che unitamente al parcheggio privato consente spostamenti e rientri veloci e senza stress.
