Great choice. The host is very kind, friendly and helpful. Tasteful and classy furnishings. Ideal for bike tourists: you can leave your bicycle safely in the private garden enclosed by a gate. Well-kept garden with a panoramic view of the lake where you can enjoy breakfast in the fresh air. Great choice and highly recommended.

We received a warm reception from the lady of the house. She gave us ample advice about where to eat and what to do. The room was very charming, and we had the opportunity to take the stairs to the charming and sunny garden on top of the city's walls. We particularly enjoyed the view from the round city tower adjacent to the garden.

We spent three lovely days at Il Torrione. Monica is very kind. She came to pick us up twice from the train station, even at night when we returned late to Castiglione del Lago and could not find a taxi. The structure is beautiful, right in the center of Castiglione del Lago. Our room was clean and very comfortable. The breakfast was perfect, with everything we wanted. There is also a nice garden a short walk from the structure where guests can enjoy the beauty of the landscape. It was a great experience and we cannot wait to return.

Mrs. Monica is a very kind person. Unfortunately, our room did not have a lake view and was structured on two floors (the bed upstairs with sailor-style stairs). Breakfast, both sweet and savory, for all tastes. When we left the property, we forgot the souvenirs at the reception and after having lunch at the restaurant, we had to return. Monica was not on the property and no one could open for us, but after contacting her, she opened the door from her cell phone. She was really kind! Highly recommended.

A delightful little corner. The rooms are tastefully furnished in every detail and equipped with all comforts. Added value given by the small balcony overlooking the external garden positioned on the tower of the walls surrounding the city with a view of the lake. The structure is inside the walls, very close to the main street. Monica, the owner, was very kind and welcoming, the breakfast is good and served with a warm and homely atmosphere. Highly recommended!

The B&B is located on the corner tower of the walls of Castiglione del Lago, in the historic center, near the "Porta Senese". The managers are very nice and make you feel at home. The breakfast is varied in both sweet and savory. The order and cleanliness are absolutely perfect. Enjoying the sunset in the garden on the Torrione is unparalleled. Highly recommended!

Monica and her husband were splendid hosts, they welcomed us with great kindness and availability. They gave us information and tips on places to see around the lake and where to eat. The room where we stayed was extremely clean and welcoming. The B&B is located in the historic center and from the garden you can enjoy a beautiful view. Castiglione del Lago is a village we did not know and it contains treasures: the visit to Palazzo Della Corgna and the Fortress was really worth it. Besides learning about the history of this family and admiring the frescoes by Pomarancio, from the fortress there is a beautiful view of the lake and the islands.

Beautiful structure in the center of the village. We stayed in the apartment complete with all comforts. Spectacular view from the little terrace overlooking Castiglione del Lago and Lake Trasimeno. Central point to visit the villages around the lake, do not miss the visit to the two islands (Maggiore and Polvese). Exceptional reception and maximum availability and courtesy from Monica, whom we thank for the valuable tourist tips.

Moving on to the structure, it is in a fantastic location within the walls of the old town, with the tower's garden offering a splendid view of the lake and the landscape. Having breakfast 'is priceless'. Room with all the comforts, tastefully furnished (Monica's touch for sure) and top cleanliness. Highly recommended.

We only spent two nights, enough to review this fantastic place, right in the historic center, and a stone's throw from the lake. From the tower that overlooks the hill, you can enjoy a truly spectacular landscape, and you can do so from the splendid garden, well-maintained and colored optimally by the manager. Monica is a perfect host, always kind, attentive to details, and always available to requests, and we with a 7-year-old child had many. We will definitely come back, highly recommended.

Monica and her family are very welcoming. I called at 6:15 PM and they waited for me until 7:00 PM. They bought rice cakes (gluten-free) for breakfast. There is always fruit and everything to make you a tea. I recommend it.

A beautiful Bed and Breakfast located in a charming spot in Castiglione del Lago, if the idea is to come to this area do not hesitate to book this beautiful structure with a delightful internal courtyard obtained from one of the town's defensive towers. The view overlooks the lake and the sight is fabulous. The owner Monica is courteous and always available, the breakfast plentiful and fairly varied. Highly recommended!

Wonderful B&B, very kind owner, very clean and well-kept and not obvious comfortable beds! We stayed at the top of the tower, from the little terrace on the roofs you can admire the sunrise and from the private garden the sunset on the lake is poetry.

I gifted the stay at 'Il Torrione' to my parents for their 25th wedding anniversary. They were speechless for the beauty of the place. Mrs. Monica, the owner, was immediately friendly and attentive to every request. The breakfast is plentiful and the rooms are impeccably clean. Passed with flying colors with the promise of returning as soon as possible for sure!

A comfortable stay in a very good location, about as close to the 'old town' shops as you can get. The garden - where a delicious breakfast of fresh croissants, coffee, yogurt and juice is served - is definitely the best asset, having great views across Trasimeno Lake. There is friendly, personal service - including a glass of chilled prosecco on arrival. Particularly helpful for us was the lift that the proprietor gave us (free of charge) from the train station up to the B&B and back. We've stayed here twice now and would definitely return.

Here we spend fantastic weekends, surrounded by tranquility and immersed in nature. The rooms are very welcoming, clean and well furnished even if there is no television. Mr. Franco always greets us with kindness, and often it is to him that we ask for advice on what unusual things to see in the area or where to eat. The very abundant breakfast is always served in the garden from where you have an invaluable view of Lake Trasimeno. This bed and breakfast is an excellent reference point as there are wonderful art cities such as Siena, Cortona, Assisi, Perugia, and Orvieto very close by.

We had a lovely stay at Il Torrione, in one of the very pleasant garden rooms. Great hosts - Karin welcomed us with a glass of chilled white wine after a long hot drive and Franco gave us maps and lots of local information. Nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was a joy in Franco's beautifully tended gardens - a real oasis with wonderful views over the lake. In a peaceful position within the old walls of the centro storico. So glad we found it and will definitely return.
