Hotel Pallotta is a small hotel in the historic centre of Assisi, located on Via San Rufino, in an ideal position for visiting the city’s main monuments on foot. Set in a carefully restored historic building, the hotel offers a simple, welcoming and family-style atmosphere. Self check-in makes your stay practical and flexible. Due to its location in the historic centre, the hotel may be less convenient for guests travelling with large or numerous suitcases.

Great central location. Small and not very comfortable bed. Bathroom with a shower without a curtain directly above the toilet, so it is impossible to shower without flooding the bathroom, which then becomes unusable.

Hotel Pallotta is a charming, old-world-style property. It is located up a short hill from the central square of Assisi and is within easy walking distance of all the major attractions, many restaurants, and shops. My room was cleaned every day, and the fresh towels were much appreciated, especially because the shower was not enclosed so the toilet seat lid got wet. There was always a plentiful breakfast served by friendly Jenny, and the breakfast room was available all day for coffee, tea, or snacks. The host generously allowed us to leave baggage after checkout to be picked up later in the day. It felt like a family home. Rick Steves recommends it, and I do as well.

The accommodation is in an optimal location as it is situated in the upper heart of Assisi, between Piazza del Comune and San Ruffino. A street surely walked more than once by Francesco during his life. The atmosphere is very familiar and simple. An authentic essentiality that warms the heart, in a town that unfortunately is now hyper-touristified.

Jenni, Stefano, and the housekeeper are a great team. Jenni is always attentive in the mornings, she speaks Spanish, English, and Italian. Stefano was quick to respond. Great customer service is key for me and I was treated accordingly. Very safe and centrally located! All within walking distance!!! We will come back!

We have been guests of this establishment for about 10 years. This year it was fantastic to return and find at the reception/breakfast Ms. Maria who welcomed us with a smile (...and it has been a long time since we missed this gesture of affection). We will return in June and then in October hoping to find the same staff that is truly fantastic. Thanks to Stefano for bringing back the Pallotta of old.

This is my favourite place to stay in Assisi. It is positioned in the historic part of Assisi near plenty of restaurants. The accommodation and breakfast are simple but adequate. The best place in the hotel is the 'belvedere' on the top floor with spectacular 360 degree views of the surrounding countryside and town. Trattoria Pallotta is associated with the hotel and is the best restaurant in Assisi.

Great location and good accommodations for the price. Maria served up a wonderful buffet breakfast of cereals, fresh fruits, yogurt, pastries and coffee. She was a warm and friendly hostess, and quite patient with our poor Italian language skills. Each day, Natasha cleaned, returned order to our room, and provided fresh towels. We spent 5 nights and had a wonderful time in Assisi.

Small, very quiet hotel in the historic center of Assisi. Enchanting view of the city and the plain. Abundant and varied breakfast, with excellent homemade desserts. Careful cleaning. Comfortable rooms. The highlight is a small space at the top of a spiral staircase, with large windows from which one can admire a 360° view. Welcoming staff. The restaurant is also excellent, where guests are greeted and pampered with friendliness.

The structure is in the center of Assisi, the rooms are sufficient to sleep, the bathroom needs to be redone (not compliant for good cleaning and has a dangerous step, as well because the shower lacks a shower tray and box. However, the breakfast is good. It is not equipped to accommodate bicycles.

Hotel in a central location for a visit to Assisi. Cozy room, comfortable bed, plenty of pillows and blankets. Only downside: in the bathroom, the shower is not enclosed or separated from the rest of the bathroom, so you have to remove everything first because the whole bathroom will get wet. I recommend adding at least a curtain. The reception service was excellent and the manager was very helpful.

We have returned to Hotel Pallotta 3 times and each time we have been greeted very well. The hotel is very well positioned, in the heart of Assisi, which allows us to visit the Basilicas outside peak hours. The rooms are all different, each with a particular character. Some have a beautiful view over the rooftops of Assisi. In the morning, breakfast is quite good and the service is top-notch. The Trattoria Hotel Pallotta is also a must... A stop at Hotel Pallotta is a must!

Good location a stone's throw from the main square of the Municipality, good value for money, excellent cleanliness, availability, communication. If I really have to find a flaw, I point out the presence in the room of a tower fan. Although it works and is sufficient for the heat I found, I would have preferred a traditional air conditioner, but all in all it's okay like this.

Overall we had a good experience. After a bit of confusion about the shower without a curtain, it turned out to be a really nice stay. Top cleanliness! I didn't meet the manager, he wasn't there, but he always responded promptly when I contacted him, and he was highly rated in the reviews. Breakfast is served from 7.30, but if you go down at that time, because we were leaving early, there is no bread, cold cuts, and cheeses yet. In the afternoon, there is a tea break, this service is great because it would be from 3.30 pm until 6 pm, but there is a nice machine, which also makes great coffee I would say, and even if you come back late and want to have a tea, chamomile or herbal tea, there is everything you need, even biscuits. Honestly, if I had to come back to Assisi, I would come here again. If you are not picky, I recommend it.

Cozy location, room with few electrical outlets, especially in the bathroom the position of the small outlet placed under the mirror is not intuitive. Low brightness due to the small size of the window located in a corner of the room. However, overall the stay was excellent, also thanks to the central location adjacent to all the services and shops of the city. Competent and very friendly staff. Definitely worth going back.

Cozy environment, in the center, close to affiliated parking. Free Assisi card with various benefits, excellent breakfast, water, coffee, tea time included in the price. Panoramic belvedere with small veranda and reading area. Services such as washing machine (with a very small contribution), iron, wifi, hairdryer, iPad. I'll come back.

The managers of the property are very friendly and kind. They respond to information promptly and politely. Also, Trattoria Pallotta is an excellent spot for those who want to taste good Umbrian food and more, with the same kindness and courtesy. The only area of the Hotel allows you to fully experience all the beauty and magic of the city. Highly recommended.

Central location, abundant breakfast, and even the possibility to have a snack or refresh oneself with drinks in the afternoon after a walk, as there is an internal fridge offering water, orange soda, or tea. There is also a trattoria run by them where you can eat very well, cooking local dishes at absolutely reasonable prices. We are very happy. If we return to Assisi, it will be our sure point of reference. Thank you.
