This enchanting village, surrounded by nature and tranquil silence, is the perfect place to explore the art cities and scenic wonders of this region. Our houses, completely renovated in 2024, will offer you a well-kept and comfortable environment. The pedestrian alleys, free of cars, allow your children to play safely, and your animal friends are welcome. Our accommodations are located within a maximum distance of 100 meters from each other. We will be happy to offer you hospitality and assistance, providing you with advice and information during your stay.
The apartments respect the architectural style of the village and have been renovated with special care. The panoramic and hilly location of the village, at an altitude of 550 meters above sea level, will give you breathtaking views of the green Umbrian hills.
Casa Giovanna is a cozy and elegant residence, ideal for accommodating from 2 to a maximum of 5 people. With its 70 square meters, completely renovated in 2024, you can enjoy a stay on a single level, with a spacious living room equipped with TV and Wi-Fi, a spacious chestnut wood kitchen, two double bedrooms (one with a panoramic balcony), and a bathroom with shower. Additionally, you can relax on the flowered terrace, enjoying a meal outdoors.
Casa Marianna, with its rustic and country style, can accommodate from 2 to 4 people and consists of 55 square meters spread over two levels. Located at the entrance of the ancient castle, it has an open courtyard where you can eat and relax in the shade. The apartment offers Wi-Fi, a living room with a double sofa bed and a smart working corner, a fully equipped kitchen, a bedroom, and a bathroom with shower on the first floor.
Our accommodations are ideal for those seeking relaxation, ancient atmospheres, and the beauty of the Umbrian countryside, but also for those who want to explore central Italy. We provide free parking for our guests.

Milena and Morena are our chefs, who love to cook traditional regional dishes. Our chefs prepare homemade pasta and bread, and all the other dishes are made with local products and artisanal techniques.

Messenano was a castle in 13th century, now is an ancient and quite Hamlet among green hills, where live about 40 farmers who still live old traditions.
We want that our guest are not only a tourist, but they can live like a person of Messenano, in a true Italian house no in an house for tourists. Guest must feel smell of hand-made pasta, see farmers to work in the fields, drink a coffee with me, Emanuela the owner of the houses.

In the small and quiet village of Messenano we had a great time. We stayed as a couple at Casa Giovanna, a house actually structured for 4 people with 2 double bedrooms, large kitchen with sitting area, bathroom with tub and 2 delightful terraces where to have breakfast or relax in the evening. We visited Umbria in early August: while the rest of the region was suffering from torrid heat, in Messenano the air remained a constant cool that allowed us to enjoy our stay to the fullest. The house is equipped with every comfort and attention (linen, very well-equipped kitchen, spices, condiments, even flour and yeast!). There are no parking problems as there is a small dedicated area where you can easily leave the car a few steps from the house. Emanuela welcomed us kindly, answered all our questions and met our needs. The only (small) downside is the poor cell phone reception and a somewhat weak wifi, but the owners were already equipping themselves to solve this. Highly recommended! The pictures do not do the beauty of the place justice. P. S. If you are an animal lover, the village is frequented by many sweet kittens.

Enchanting village and very welcoming house, very kind and helpful owners, convenient for visiting various locations in Umbria. Clean, fragrant and tidy house, plenty of linen available for the five of us, and everything needed for breakfast (coffee, sugar, tea). The owner did some washing for us and returned the laundry, kindly hosted us for a whole day in her house because she had a university exam. Emanuela, her husband, and Beatrice were really friendly. We will definitely return.

I start from the first phone contact, where Emanuela was immediately courteous and friendly, the house is located in a small village where you really disconnect from the hectic way of life, nature and the preservation of this little gem frame everything. Casa Giovanna is spacious and clean, we really enjoyed having breakfast on one of the two terraces. It is located in an ancient village, Messenano, quiet, characteristic although quite far from larger inhabited centers. Emanuela welcomed us with kindness and availability.

Beautiful location, very quiet area and above all convenient because you can reach the surroundings in a short time. Mrs. Emanuela, very kind and always available. Rustic apartment with good equipment located in a very pretty and quite tranquil village. We chose this property mainly because it accepted the holiday bonus and the location, about half an hour from many places of interest (Marmore Waterfall, Spoleto, Narni, Clitunno Springs, Todi), was a good choice.

A small and ancient village, where to find time, calm, serenity. Perfect for families and children, who can move freely and safely among the cobbled and pedestrian streets of the village. The 'Casa di Marianna' is clean and tidy, and Emanuela is a courteous and helpful host. Highly recommended and to return.

We stayed in Messenano during the two central weeks of August and we could not hope to find a better accommodation to relax and at the same time visit a part of Umbria that we did not know yet. In the meantime, we had the opportunity to rediscover those ancient human relationships that are unfortunately often forgotten in the city. When you leave Messenano, you feel more serene for what you have been able to see and hear.

The rented room is really comfortable, very well maintained and very clean. The owner was very kind and helpful and treated us almost like we were family. The location is truly enchanting and, even though it is a bit lost in the Umbrian hills, it is in an ideal position to start discovering Umbria.
