Description
The B&B "Once upon a time" is located in the heart of Assisi, in an ancient monastery of enclosed nuns, later converted into a carpentry workshop, where my father worked passionately and devotedly. The love he transmitted in his work and to us has remained impressed in the walls that surround the structure. The renovation lasted many years, but its location in a typical alley, the vaulted ceilings and the stone walls, combined with modern furnishings, make the B&B unique and peaceful. In this city, which is the homeland of Saint Francis and Saint Clare, you can enjoy the peace and tranquility that only Assisi can offer.
The rooms have been completely renovated and finely furnished in 2022, trying to enhance the ancient medieval remains in typical pink Assisi stone and ceilings with beams. Each room is equipped with every comfort: free WiFi, air conditioning, flat-screen TV, courtesy service (coffee machine and kettle), hairdryer, bed linen and towels, samples of personal hygiene products (shampoo, bath-shower gel, body cream, hand soap, and cleaning kit), refrigerator, free cot on request, air conditioning, and heating.
We will always be at your disposal, both by phone and physically, as we live a few minutes from the structure. In addition, upon your arrival in the room, we will provide you with a detailed map of the city with the main attractions, a brief description of them, and directions to reach them.

The structure is clean but not easy to reach with hand luggage. It is very central, not suitable for those who love greenery, very discreet and in my opinion suitable for those who do not want human relationships but only virtual ones. The owner is available and attentive to suggestions and information. Unique is perfect in its kind, to be tried.
