Description

The B&B "Antico Casale Umbro" is an 19th-century stone structure that has been renovated and expanded with simplicity, respecting the environment and rural style. It is located amidst the hills of Passignano sul Trasimeno, at an altitude of about 350m.

Situated in a 6000 square meter park, it is surrounded by fields and lush forests, overlooking the valley of PiandiMarte, a place of historical interest.

It is spread over two levels: the ground floor, once a stable for animals, now includes a reception area (a lounge with a fireplace and panoramic veranda, a place to relax and enjoy a glass of wine by candlelight while admiring the magnificent sunsets), the dining room and the kitchen; while the upper floor, formerly used as a kitchen, is now designated for the bedrooms, all with private facilities. Among them is a suite with a four-poster bed and a fireplace. Inside, there are original wooden beams and terracotta tiles. The furniture has been made by local craftsmen.

The B&B offers very cozy and tastefully furnished rooms, all with their own private facilities, to allow its guests the pleasure of feeling at home, sharing the tranquility, unspoiled nature, and the taste of simple but valuable things.

Furthermore, a swimming pool has been created, nestled in the greenery and surrounded by centuries-old olive trees. It is the ideal place where, with a world suspended in time and magnificent surrounding nature, it will be easy to rediscover oneself, ancient scents, and forgotten colors.

We have just returned and already we have a desire to return again to this beautiful property. Alessia, the owner, and her parents welcomed us into their farmhouse making us feel like family; available to chat amiably under the pergola and to provide many useful indications on places to visit and restaurants where you can enjoy traditional local dishes. The property is in the countryside, near Castel Rigone, ideal for spending days in complete relaxation using the pool but at the same time a strategic point to visit the numerous locations that the area offers. We will definitely return to enjoy once again the great welcome and familiarity that Alessia, dad, and mom have given us.

Definitely an interesting proposal for those who want to completely isolate themselves from the world during the holiday. Very courteous owners available at any time, great company of the house dog, covered parking and new pool. I would have appreciated a softer mattress and pillow. We stayed at this splendid, meticulously maintained structure immersed in the countryside, welcomed by a lively and sweet little dog, joyful at every arrival! The landlady welcomes guests as if they were members of her family, assisted in this by parents full of energy and eagerness to be together. The room was large, rich in fragrant and refined details. The surrounding environment is uncontaminated and we enjoyed it from the much appreciated pool. What struck us most was the warm welcome and feeling at home. The breakfast was good and varied, the evenings under the shooting stars unforgettable, which we "city dwellers" had literally forgotten, accompanied by pleasant chats on the veranda. Short distance from the beautiful Lake Trasimeno and various interesting locations and medieval villages rich in history and art, not to mention the culinary and wine specialties of the area. Cleaning, courtesy, and the beauty of Antico Casale Umbro are the strengths of this B&B. I also mention the lovely saltwater pool, which is an alternative if you don't feel like going out. Abbiamo soggiornato in località, agriturismi e B&B sempre diversi trovandoci nella maggior parte dei casi soddisfatti. Ma l'Antico Casale Umbro ci ha regalato qualcosa in più: sarà stato il "core de Roma"? La vita è un viaggio ricco di conoscenze ed incontrare persone belle dona un senso in più al cammino. We had lovely and relaxing two days. The family was very nice and welcoming and helpful. This is at the countryside, and therefore we choose to dine on site. As soon as we started to get the food out on the terrace, they came with tablecloth and light for the table. We also enjoyed the homemade cookies. Abbiamo trascorso una settimana di pieno relax in quest'oasi di pace e tranquillità accolti dalla stupenda famiglia Romanelli che ci ha fatto sentire davvero a casa. Il silenzio, la piscina per oziare un po' ed il bellissimo giardino circostante, tutti gli ingredienti per staccare la spina dal frastuono della città e dal lavoro. Camere confortevoli, colazione ottima con tutti prodotti fatti in casa e tanta tanta simpatia ed accoglienza. Più che consigliato.

Soggiorno meraviglioso, capita raramente di incontrare delle persone speciali come Alessia, Ida, Fabrizio e ovviamente includo anche il loro "cagnolino Tad". La struttura è bellissima e curata in tutti i dettagli, con una attenzione ai piccoli e grandi particolari (camere pulitissime e profumatissime). In questo casale ti senti costantemente coccolato, e vorresti rimanere a chiacchierare con i proprietari per ore. Con mio marito Umberto ci siamo sentiti come a casa e non vediamo l'ora di ritornare per un soggiorno più lungo. Da non perdere i dolci preparati da Ida per la colazione, fantastici! ! Dimenticavo c'è anche una splendida piscina dove trascorrere momenti di relax. Ci rivediamo presto.

È stata una piacevole sorpresa scoprire questo antico e bellissimo casale in mezzo alla natura incontaminata. Quest'anno festeggiamo i 25 anni di matrimonio a Maggio e sapendo che sarà 1 mese difficile per noi festeggiarlo senza dire niente agli amici che erano con noi ne abbiamo approfittato e quale posto migliore potevamo scegliere? Siamo stati super fortunati. Casale e famiglia splendidi, ci hanno coccolato coi loro dolci serali e mattutini nelle squisite colazioni e tanti consigli sui paesi da visitare, insomma che dire: tutto fantastico. Alla prossima.

Posto incantevole per perdersi nella natura, per ritrovare se stessi nella immensa campagna, per scaldarsi al fuoco di un camino, per guardare il cielo stellato lontano dalle città, per sentire l'odore di fresco e di natura, per ritrovarsi con i propri amici a parlare o a giocare tutti intorno ad un camino, sui divani, o per cantare al karaoke o per una fuga romantica con il proprio amore, per mangiare cibi genuini di una squisita bontà, tutto rigorosamente fatto in casa e per sentirsi accuditi dalla dolce e gentilissima famiglia che gestisce il casale, che ti fa sentire da subito a casa propria. Il calore delle persone che lo gestiscono e l'attenzione nel fornire qualsiasi servizio il tutto con estrema gentilezza e simpatia ma nella riservatezza appropriata. Noi abbiamo passato il capodanno qui, io ed un gruppo di amici, e siamo andati via il giorno dopo con la nostalgia di quel posto, dei sapori e degli odori e del calore delle persone che lo gestiscono. Un stupendo capodanno indimenticabile. Noi ci torneremo, magari in estate. Per goderci il barbecue esterno con la piscina e per passeggiare lì nei dintorni, ma soprattutto per ritrovare la magia di questo stupendo casale, delle sue stanze in pietra, in legno, calde ed accoglienti, arredate con cura ed armonia e perfettamente pulite, della natura incontaminata in cui ci si ritrova e per ritrovare questa stupenda famiglia che con la sua dolcezza ed accoglienza lascia il cuore colmo di amore e di calore. Si va via da lì con la sola certezza: che ci si tornerà molto presto.

B&B ai massimi livelli in tutto. Un vero paradiso terrestre per un relax assoluto. Il casale curato nei minimi particolari fa rivivere il passato del '800 con tutti i confort del presente. La colazione ricca dei sapori Umbri con l'orizzonte verso le verdi colline e con i profumi dei boschi circostanti, rende unico questo nido di natura. Il calore della famiglia, che ci ha ospitato, è la gentilezza si pone ad un piano di una unica rarità, Il voler far star bene l'ospite, è il pensiero che fa da padrone in questo Casale, di rimando il soggiorno viene vissuto credendo di essere a casa propria. La graziosità, la simpatia, l'educazione, il tatto è la riservatezza della Signora Alessia culmina la struttura come il migliore B&B che abbia mai visitato, e che consiglierei al mio migliore amico. Bella esperienza. Ci ritornerò presto.

Ottima struttura curata nei particolari, immersa nel verde dove l'unico rumore è quello della natura. I proprietari sono eccezionali, sempre attenti alle esigenze dei clienti, simpatici e cordiali. La colazione è buonissima, specialmente il ciambellone rigorosamente fatto in casa! Poi se siete amanti delle passeggiate a cavallo non esitate a chiedere a loro, vi indicheranno dove andare.

Con mia moglie Gianna è la seconda volta che scegliamo questa struttura nell'arco di 2 mesi. Consigliamo vivamente a tutti i nostri amici e non, di soggiornarci per sentire i profumi, i sapori, la pace, la serenità, l'accoglienza e la simpatia che cottradistingue il gestore e la sua famiglia e che questo luogo trasmette. Ci sentiamo dei castellani in una struttura d'epoca di grande pregio, posizionata nel bel mezzo di una natura incontaminata dove regna un gallo che al mattino e alla sera chicchireggia e la gallina ogni tanto chioccia.

Che dire, il posto è splendido, fagiani e volpi sono facili incontri, all'interno del casale il gusto nell'arredo e negli accostamenti è di buon livello, la zona collinare è verdissima, gli spazi sia interni che esterni sono ben curati, i gestori sono simpaticissimi e disponibili, a colazione, biscotti e torte sono fatte in casa semplici e buone.

Cercavamo pace e tranquillità, e l'abbiamo trovata in questo bellissimo Casale, a 10 minuti dal lago Trasimeno. La sorpresa, però, è stata l'accoglienza. Persone squisite di rara gentilezza. Alessia, la titolare, precisa e sempre presente, il papà Fabrizio prodigo di consigli e indicazioni. Seguito come un'ombra dal suo Breton "Tad", e per finire ottime e varie le torte di Ida. Da vedere in zona, sicuramente Passignano a 15 minuti, Castiglion sul Lago, a 25 minuti, Cortona a 30 minuti. Due piccoli appunti: metterei le zanzariere anche nelle camere, e il wifi fino a bordo piscina.

La struttura è davvero bella ed accogliente. Ogni dettaglio è curato ai massimi livelli. Le camere sono spaziose e confortevoli. I gestori sono il vero plus della mia mini vacanza. Persone cordialissime e simpatiche che ti fanno sentire a casa.

Già solo per le torte offerte a colazione merita qualunque viaggio per raggiungere una struttura in cui tutto è "eccezionale". Desideriamo sottolineare la gentilezza ed accoglienza della Signora Alessia e della sua famiglia, che ha permesso a tutti noi, cagnolino compreso, di sentirci a nostro agio. I materassi, i cuscini ed il silenzio della campagna circostante sono stati per noi il riposo dal viaggio e dalle gite turistiche dell'Umbria. Un saluto ai gestori dalla famiglia Sciarrone e, se torneremo in Umbria, sarete per noi un punto di riferimento.

Fantastico il casale e fantastici i gestori. Raramente ho incontrato cortesia, gentilezza e professionalità come al Casale Umbro. È stata una bella sorpresa, perché per noi era una sosta da un viaggio dalla Sicilia verso Milano. Adesso che lo conosciamo, lo consigliamo caldamente e lo rivisiteremo certamente in futuro per una vacanza. Un tuffo nella pace delle colline umbre. La cura dei particolari non solo della struttura ma anche del suo contorno trasmette appieno la passione che i gestori possiedono per l'ospitalità. Sembra di essere a casa e dispiace andare via. Da consigliare a chi ama essere immerso nella natura circondati dal calore umano.

Cosa dire, se non di sentirsi perfettamente a nostro agio fin dall'arrivo. puntualità di informazioni, disponibilità fuori dalla consuetudine del gestore, Fabrizio, persona cordialissima e di una correttezza oggi rara. Lo consiglio vivamente a chi voglia visitare i luoghi vicini, compreso il Trasimeno, senza sentirsi soffocare dal turismo di massa.
