Description

La Maison is an independent building built in the 13th century and was inhabited by the famous Painter "Pinturicchio" and the Jurist "Bartolo" from Sassoferrato.

The structure is in a truly strategic position. To park your car, a paid parking lot is located a few meters away and immediately after another free one (free), the only one left in the Historic Center. Upon reservation, we have the possibility to give you access to the paid parking lot with our card; we pay for you!!!
La Maison is located next to the Etruscan Arch, just 10 steps away. The atmosphere is familiar, welcoming, and relaxing, where cleanliness and hygiene are essential for us!
La Maison is located in the heart of Perugia and is the optimal solution to enjoy the historical and architectural beauties of the city, just a few steps away from all the places of historical and cultural value of the Umbrian capital.

La Maison is one of the closest accommodations to the famous Clinic: Porta Sole.

If you feel like having sweets, a well-known Artisanal Chocolate Shop is just a few meters away from us, and very close by, you can also admire a charming panorama from the Belvedere next to the Church of Sant'Angelo della Pace (in Via delle Prome a Porta Sole).

If you come by train, from the Station with the bus, you will be with us in just 10 minutes; if you want, you can also take the Minimetrò.

Every day I prepare a homemade dessert, and it is also possible to have it for celiacs. Breakfast will be served by Alessia at the desired time, and throughout the day, you will have beverages and snacks available in the breakfast room..

Availability permitting, at check-out, you can stay until late afternoon. However, you can leave your luggage for as long as you want.

La Maison Alessia is a great solution for those who want to enjoy the historical and architectural beauties of Perugia staying in a family environment, young and friendly, within walking distance to all the main places of historical and cultural center of Perugia.

The B & B is in fact situated in the historical center, between the Cathedral and the Etruscan Arch. In the immediate vicinity are the University, the University for Foreigners, Morley Theatre, Peacock Theatre, the famous Sun Gate Clinic and a note Artisan Chocolate, the best the city has to offer.

Just 50 meters from the B & B then there are two parking lots, one free (the only one left in the Old Town) and the other for a fee. Despite the proximity, we will accompany you to the car park on arrival and departure (availability permitting).

To further facilitate the movement, 10 meters there are links to the public transport to get around the city, while on weekends there are shuttles to the main places of entertainment, and their stop is 15 meters.

As far as the living room, each room, colorful, comfortable and cozy, has a private bathroom with shower.

Breakfast will be served at a desired time, and throughout the day in the breakfast room are available for drinks and snacks.

Upon check-out guests can stay until late afternoon, availability permitting.

You care of the owners reserve the guests an atmosphere of warmth and attention to make them feel at home, and relax.

Great stay at Alessia's Maison. The room is comfortable and spacious, on a street very close to the historic center and just above the University for Foreigners. You can reach all the main attractions on foot. The owners of the property are extremely helpful and kind. You immediately feel at home!

When you arrive at Alessia's Maison you don't arrive at a B&B, you arrive with family! Besides being spotless, very easy to reach and located at the foot of the historic center, the real highlight is Alessia and her husband Erico! They are extremely kind and helpful. Alessia does everything to offer you the best breakfast and a new delicious cake every day! I was able to meet lovely people around the breakfast table, during which Alessia spends time with everyone to chat and to help if needed. How lucky to have found such a fantastic place! I recommend it 150%!

I stayed only for two nights but Alessia and her husband Enrico made me feel at home. Super welcoming, but never intrusive. Alessia is a source of advice and tips on Perugia for both visiting and dining. The accommodation is located in the city center, but it is convenient to reach from both the train and bus stations. Five days of pampering. My wife and I stayed at this B&B from April 30 to May 5. The structure is beautiful, it has a quiet and strategically located position, being situated in a beautiful historic building in the historic center of Perugia. Very clean and very special. It's also very convenient to be able to leave the car in a very nearby covered parking lot. Excellent value for money. The owners Enrico and Alessia are very kind and helpful people who welcomed us with great courtesy and made us feel at home. Enrico helped us carry the luggage from the car to the room and explained everything with great professionalism, suggesting us some excellent restaurants where we could have dinner. Alessia is very sociable and literally pampered us every morning during breakfast, baking delicious and always different cakes, giving us very useful information to better visit our destinations in Perugia, Assisi, Gubbio, and Spello, as well as providing us with very useful detailed maps of the sites. Heartfelt thanks to both of you! If the opportunity arises to return to Perugia in the future, we will definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!

This B&B is truly spectacular! I recommend it for many reasons: extremely accurate cleaning, historical atmosphere (it was the residence of Pinturicchio), restored with good taste and elegance, super abundant and varied breakfast, amazing welcome. Alessia and Enrico are exquisite people, very helpful and very discreet, as well as truly nice.\nThe cost of the room for us is definitely compensated by many extra services: 1. They picked us up at the station and even took us back. 2. They made available, ALWAYS, the fully stocked kitchen so we also used it during the short lunch break planned for our conference at the nearby University and also in the evening, preparing tea and herbal teas. 3. Alessia's cakes are FABULOUS, but also the stuffed sandwiches and everything else.

It's a perfect 10 out of 10 structure! Everything was perfect from start to finish. We arrived by train and Enrico came to pick us up at the station, taking us to the structure. During the journey, he illustrated all the places we saw, also providing historical explanations about the city. The rooms are clean and original in their layout, equipped with shower gel, shampoo, soap, cleansing milk, and cotton pads. Guests have access to a kitchen/pantry area where you can find everything: food, candies, drinks, fruit, coffee, tea, herbal teas. For breakfast, there are cakes prepared by Alessia that are spectacular. Additionally, there are also excellent sandwiches for those who prefer a savory breakfast. Alessia and Enrico are two fantastic and friendly guides. The structure is in a great location, A MUST TRY!

We are confirming all the other reviews. The excellent location and we parked our car for free just a few meters away, and the property is a 3-minute walk from the main street. The B&B is very nice, welcoming where nothing is missing, and the owners, as well as kind, are attentive to any need, even for breakfast where nothing is missing. Very spacious room with impeccable cleanliness. We had a great time and are thinking of coming back here next summer. Highly recommended.

The location is excellent, very convenient even for those arriving by car like us, very close to Corso Vannucci. Despite the very late check-in, we found maximum kindness and availability. The parking is also super convenient, which is also free. Extremely clean spaces, very comfortable and quiet room, even with double pillows. The B&B is in a historic building where two illustrious figures of the past lived (Pinturicchio and Bartolo da Sassoferrato) and it is very well maintained. Alessia is an excellent host and treated us to some of her cakes (delicious). For us, it was a nice discovery that we recommend everyone to make.

I rate everything 10 because the structure deserves it but especially the owners. They welcomed us in the best way, helped us with parking, to take the luggage and accompanied us with the car to the exit to go home. Alessia was very kind and also prepared pastries for breakfast for me, gluten-free because I'm celiac and with Stevia because of high blood sugar, I was amazed by this gesture, the rooms are really lovely and there is a breakfast room where you can enjoy coffee, sweet herbal teas and Nutella 24 hours a day. Recommended to all.

We stayed one night with my husband to accompany our son admitted to the Porta Sole clinic for surgery. The nice and comfortable environment in a strategic position both for its proximity to the clinic and to the center, the very kind owners made us feel at home. Mr. Enrico, upon our arrival, accompanied us to the nearest free parking and in the evening called us back to inquire about our son's condition after the surgery, Mrs. Alessia prepared a delicious chocolate cake for breakfast along with other varieties of goodies. Like going to old friends. Beautiful hospitality experience as rarely happens. Indeed, it pleasantly surprised us. Kind welcome, escorted to the parking lot and brought back to the B&B with his car. I was staying here while studying at the University for Foreigners, near the B&B (and the Etruscan arch). It is clear that the location of the property is perfect! Every day it took me a minute to walk to school. From the beginning to the departure, Alessia and Enrico, the managers, were kind, pleasant, and friendly. Every morning they prepare breakfast with cold cuts and/or cheeses that guests like the most. All the products are fresh: bread, yogurt, fruit. The coffee is delicious! Not only in the morning do Alessia and Enrico make coffee (cappuccino, espresso), but even when guests return home, a coffee is offered. Every day Alessia makes a fresh cake, she deserves a medal! If guests want information about the city (historic center, monuments, history), Alessia tells about interesting places to visit, such as the basilica San Lorenzo and the Fontana Maggiore by Pisano, the basilicas San Pietro and San Domenico or the National Archaeological Museum of Umbria (MANU), etc. Also interesting is the story of Pinturicchio, the painter who lived in the palace (now B&B) for a few years. I 'lived' in two rooms, the smaller one ('Fior di Loto') and the larger one (called 'Gaze towards the Sky') with a terrace and a panoramic view of Perugia, the Etruscan arch, and the University. The rooms are decorated with cute colors: both the walls and the accessories are of the same color. On the walls, there are paintings made by Enrico. Every morning the rooms are cleaned. After three or four days, bath towels and sheets are changed. The kitchen, the corridor, everything is always in order. The room rates are correct. In short, I really liked the hotel of Alessia and Enrico.

The location is strategic, right in the heart of the historic center. Well soundproofed and carefully maintained structure down to the smallest details. The breakfast is very rich, nothing is missing (even chips, nuts); excellent cakes made by Alessia, the owner. The B&B is located in an ideal position, in the historic center of Perugia but in a quiet and not noisy street. It is not trivial the possibility of free parking, for those who are self-driving, a short distance from the structure. The place is perfect for visiting Perugia: the location itself is stunning (from the room One Glance Towards The Sky the view is breathtaking), it allows you to walk through the city far and wide on foot or by public transport. The rooms are warm and welcoming. The cleanliness is like an operating room. In the breakfast room there is a rich assortment of food available at all hours of the day. The price is really convenient, I would say very low for the services offered. And to finish, Alessia and Giancarlo are very caring and nice. The only downside: you would not want to leave!

We stayed in this B&B for three nights (too few!) during the Eurochocolate event. The room was spacious and the furnishings of the environments are refined in detail. Everything was very nice and extremely clean. The owners proved to be very kind and helpful. Nothing is lacking in the environments and every type of comfort is present, including Wi-Fi. There is no need to talk about the location, right in the center. If we had to recommend a Bed and Breakfast in Perugia or if we needed it again, we would have no doubts.

For a couple of years, it has been a pleasant fixed stop for us in Perugia during the Umbria Jazz period. We spent one week in this bed and breakfast and we must say that it contributed to making these seven days truly divine. Nothing can be said but good about the event and this structure. Umbria Jazz is well organized and features high-caliber artists. Without fear of being contradicted, we must also emphasize the remarkable performances of lesser-known artists. Returning to the bed and breakfast, we could not have found better. This year we were truly lucky. Central location, free parking even two hundred meters away, super kindness of the managers, meticulous cleaning, and we cannot complain about the breakfast either, well assorted, with fruit, pastries, savory dishes, yogurt, and more, with the particularity of being available throughout the entire stay as well as being served in the morning by the owner. We want to emphasize that we had truly complete service like being taken to the parking lot with Alessia's car, despite the proximity. We must confess that we miss those carefree days, both musically and in terms of our stay. Highly recommended! Alessia, thank you for everything, we will return soon.

I do not believe that one can find better accommodation in Perugia. Excellent value for money for a bed and breakfast characterized by a splendid location, in the center and in the immediate vicinity of the Etruscan Arch, an extreme cleanliness of the rooms furnished with taste and originality, an excellent breakfast and, last but certainly not least, the kindness and availability of the very nice owners, Alessia and Enrico.
