Located in the peaceful Umbrian countryside, is the Montelovesco Agriturismo, situated in the center of a vast family-owned and cultivated land according to the principles of organic farming. The 19th-century building, recently renovated, has been transformed into a charming agriturismo, respecting the Umbrian architectural tradition, where 4 independent apartments have been created.

Montelovesco is a place with a rich historical past, as shown by the Castellaccio, an ancient fortification dating back to 1100 AD. Surrounded by nature, it offers an authentic and relaxing experience, far from the hustle and bustle of the cities. Guests can enjoy cool nights, starry skies, and the summer singing of crickets and cicadas.

The central location of the Montelovesco Agriturismo makes it the ideal base for discovering Umbria and its artistic, cultural, and natural treasures. The main regional artery, the E45, is just a few minutes away and allows easy access to Gubbio, Perugia, Lake Trasimeno, Assisi, Umbertide, Montone, and other locations. Furthermore, the structure is a perfect starting point for day trips to Orvieto, the Marmore Waterfall, the Marche coast, Arezzo, and Tuscany. Florence is only 2 hours away.

Nature lovers can participate in the olive harvest, stroll around, or relax in the pool surrounded by nature. The luckiest ones can have exciting encounters with deer, wild boars, hedgehogs, birds of prey, and even the now rare river crab.

Agriturismo Montelovesco is located in a quiet and peaceful area, where guests can immerse themselves in complete silence. There are no sources of light pollution, allowing guests to admire the beautiful starry sky. The spacious estate offers numerous opportunities for pleasant walks and enjoying the beauty of the surrounding nature.

Despite the feeling of being far from the chaos of the cities, the nearest town with all necessary services is easily accessible within a few minutes. The first bar is only 6 minutes away, while the first restaurant is 12 minutes away. Additionally, the city of Gubbio is just 25 km away, and the major regional communication route, E45, can be reached in just 15 minutes.

The location of Montelovesco has a fascinating history. Originally, it was an ancient fortress from the Middle Ages built to preserve the expansion of Perugia. Unfortunately, during the war between Perugia and Gubbio in 1217, the fortress was destroyed. However, thanks to the efforts of the bishopric of Gubbio, Montelovesco was rebuilt and from that moment on took the name of Monte del Vescovo.
