La Ginestrella is a family-run farm located in Civitella D'Arna, a small Umbrian village, where the Casagrande Pierantoni family has been living for decades. Here, Paola and Daniela welcome visitors to their agriturismo, a peaceful oasis surrounded by nature, perfect for spending relaxing days in the tranquility of the magnificent Umbrian valleys, the green heart of Italy.

La Ginestrella is the perfect place to visit nearby Assisi, Perugia, Gubbio, and Spoleto, the majestic Lake Trasimeno, and all the magical medieval castles scattered atop numerous hills, protected by unspoiled nature that makes a stay in Umbria an unforgettable experience away from the stress of modern life.

You will be greeted with a kitchen full of unique fragrances and flavors, reminiscent of your grandmother's delicious recipes, with traditional and genuine dishes. Courtesy and cleanliness will be at your service in a simple but well-kept setting where time seems to have stopped, marked by the rhythms of nature.

We had a good stay, welcomed by the owner, a friendly and very hospitable person. Breakfast and food were excellent, and we also bought products made by them. We would return. Only downside: too many insects in the room where my children stayed.

Farm stay on the hills near Perugia in an isolated area but easily reachable by car. I had to delay my arrival by one day; they were efficient and honest in keeping the same agreed price per night despite the change. The room was spacious and equipped with a refrigerator. The only downside was the breakfast time at 8:30, too late for the commitments I had during my stay, but they were very kind and accommodated me by preparing a "breakfast to go" the evening before. Highly recommended.

Agriturismo in the middle of the countryside. Owners are helpful and very approachable. Great location to visit Perugia and Assisi, but also other less famous towns. Excellent and abundant breakfast and quality dinner. Perhaps the only downside is the lack of Wi-Fi in the rooms. Nevertheless, we were very happy.

We chose this farmhouse for a 5-day holiday because it is central in the region and therefore convenient to reach the various splendid villages and cities of Umbria. Daniela was a perfect hostess making us feel at home, stopping to chat and providing us with useful suggestions for our excursions. In addition to the excellent and abundant breakfast, we also dined twice with their genuine and tasty products. The location is stunning: amidst the hills dotted with small villages and overlooking Perugia. One last gem: a beautiful pair of peacocks with the male, with his call, reminding you to admire his multicolored tail.

La Ginestrella is a perfect farmhouse for families. The managers are very kind, helpful, and welcoming. The structure is very well maintained, the rooms spacious, and the location is ideal for visiting the nearby Perugia, Assisi, and Gubbio. The breakfast is excellent, with many homemade products, as well as dinner. There is a limited choice of dishes, but as it should be in a farmhouse where only seasonal products are cooked, and prepared with care and tradition. Really all very good. There was also the possibility to choose simpler things for children who may not eat everything, especially the more elaborate dishes. It's also nice to be able to buy products made by them. It's a shame about the bad weather that didn't allow us to fully enjoy the beauty of the place and the countryside around, but definitely a destination to return to.

Excellent family-run agriturismo! Lovely and genuine people accompanied our stay. Like we were at home. Excellent cuisine, (dinner only), while in the morning we were greeted with a Covid-proof breakfast, rich, wide selection and very good with very fresh products! Right choice!

Some voices deserve more than ten: the managers are wonderful people, always available and smiling; the breakfast, exceptionally varied and plentiful for Italian standards; the dinner, with products of the highest quality cooked with imagination and passion. We had a great time and it was a pleasure to meet the owners. I will not go into detail about the strategic and panoramic position, verifiable on Google. Top stay, thank you.

Wonderful structure immersed in silence and greenery. Our stay at Agriturismo la Ginestrella was wonderful. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed with a homely touch by Daniela, a lovely person. We also enjoyed the restaurant for dinner during our entire stay with delicious cuisine and excellent Umbrian wine. The staff is extremely kind, always attentive to our needs but never intrusive. A special thanks to Daniela who has always been very caring with us and literally pampered us. The room is spacious and comfortable; the bathroom was always clean and well stocked. The company of Spriz (a lively little dog) complemented the evenings/dinners outdoors. A structure to recommend to friends and relatives for their possible presence in Umbria. What can I say, beautiful places, especially for those who live in the city and want a bit of clean area. Highly recommended for families with kids, mine had a lot of fun. The owners are humble people who make everyone feel comfortable.

The farmhouse is located in the middle of the Umbrian hills, you can breathe a lot of fresh air and tranquility. It has a few nice, simple, comfortable, and cozy rooms. Very kind and helpful owners. Very abundant breakfast served in the garden. The cakes are made by them, delicious tarts with their jams, not to mention the savory breakfast made with the eggs from their hens or the fresh seasonal fruit. In addition to breakfast, you can choose to have dinner at the farmhouse, simple and tasty dishes, very affordable prices. Absolutely try the house wine! The pool is the final touch, after a day out there is nothing more pleasant than relaxing by the pool. Absolutely recommended for a totally relaxing holiday.

On the hills around Perugia, there is Agriturismo la Ginestrella with a location and a panorama of rare beauty. Silence, kindness, and availability of all the staff complete a picture of peace and serenity. Recommended for those who do not like chaos and noise, but want to find intimacy and warmth.

Very friendly host family. The swimming pool was very clean. The quiet property is located on a hill and you can see all the way to Assisi from the terrace. Home-cooked, very tasty and extensive dishes. La Ginestrella is highly recommended.
