Description

I Due Mondi is a holiday farm located in upper Umbria near the wonderful medieval town of Montone, conveniently located a few kilometres from Gubbio, Perugia, Assisi and Lake Trasimeno. Set in an immense agricultural countryside surrounded by green hills, it stretches over a colourful area that changes with every season. The land includes vineyards, olive groves and farmland owned by the Urbani family. An old country farmhouse stands majestically in the middle of this land. It has been completely restored and consists of four apartments furnished in total harmony with the original structure and equipped with all of the amenities needed for a cozy, comfortable stay. Our guests can also use a graceful stone cabin that was built more recently, though it fits perfectly with the surroundings.

“I Due Mondi" gives you the chance to spend your vacations in Umbria in a completely genuine rural setting within a certified organic holiday farm that has been fully operating for decades in the food farming sector. Over 175 hectares of grain producing land, vines for producing exclusive wine, lands for animal grazing, pasturelands, stalls for holding cattle, bulls, lamb, and pigs, and courtyards for chicken, rabbits, horses and a cute little pony for the kids.

If yoùd like, you can directly participate in the life of this authentic, farming world. You can drive our farm's tractors under the supervision of one of our specialized workers, collect grapes together with us and participate in a fantastic Sunday lunch, go by horse across the Carpina stream, watch the animals in the pasture, in the courtyard or in their stalls, and participate first hand during sowing and harvesting. Your stay in Umbria will be a great adventure of relaxing natural tours, exciting sport activities and delicious culinary events.

Francesco, his mother, and Patrizia are amazing hosts. This was the most heartwarming experience of our entire trip. We didn't expect such a warm and genuine welcome. I spent a few days at I Due Mundi while working remotely, and my family was on vacation. Everything was fantastic. The Wi-Fi worked perfectly, which made work easy. The animal visits were a highlight; our daughters loved meeting all the animals, especially Gaia. At the end of the day we took a walk along the river that leads to a natural spa, which was such a treat. The peace and quiet are wonderful, and the whole place has a warm, family-run feel. We also enjoyed the pool, which was great. We traveled with an electric car; the nearby town (about 6 km away) has charging stations, including a fast charger. We truly felt welcomed and highly recommend I Due Mundi for families and anyone looking to unwind.

I had planned a one-week vacation with my children. The decision was to think of a vacation tailored for them and at "I Due Mondi" I found much more than I hoped for. Delightful owners who make you feel part of a big family. Waking up to the sounds of nature. Looking out the window and seeing cows, horses, and wonderful nature. My children loved everything, the pool, the farm, the breakfasts. We had not yet left when they started asking, "Mom, can you take us back here again as a birthday gift?" In short, a super successful surprise vacation. With the promise to return soon, infinite thanks to all the people and all the little animals that live in this wonderful agriturismo. Simply Two Worlds where simplicity and quality come together with a lot of love for animals. In many years of agritourism around Italy, I have never met such welcoming and, above all, nature-respecting and children-loving people. It was a wonderful experience, the love that Francesco and Patrizia transmit for their animals is moving! We will definitely come back! The agriturismo is simple with the essentials for a peaceful stay, nothing luxurious but in contact with nature as it should be! Ps: we ate very well thanks to Rosanna! We spent 4 wonderful days in the company of Patrizia, Francesco and Lucia! They are fantastic people, very sweet with children! In fact, my son had a great time going around the farm and on the tractor with Francesco! The love and care for the animals shines through! The farmhouse is located in a quiet area, immersed in the Umbrian countryside, perfect for relaxing! I spent beautiful days by the pool in total serenity! I recommend it especially to families, to introduce children to the countryside and animals. A greeting also to Grandpa and Grandma Rosy who prepare many delicious cakes for breakfast and to the girls, always ready to share their games with the other children! Magnificent farmhouse for everyone, young and old. We were warmly welcomed by the whole family, the pool and the farm are superb, children can get to know many animals. Both breakfast and dinner offered are excellent. I highly recommend it and will return.

I spent 4 wonderful days... a farmhouse immersed in the Umbrian nature managed by an extraordinary family. The experience of the educational farm for children was beautiful and very fun, dinner and breakfast with local products and delicacies made by Nonna Rosy without forgetting that the farmhouse is in a very quiet location, away from busy areas, excellent for families with children but also for those who love trekking or simply to relax by the pool.

I want to leave a positive review for I Due Mondi. A welcoming and lovingly cared for place, a place where one feels at home. We stayed from Friday to Monday in the Flora farmhouse where we had an apartment with a kitchen and a view of the wonderful meadow and the woods. The place is easily reachable and is close to many places of interest (Assisi, Gubbio, Perugia). I recommend visiting the village of Montone because it is a gem. We enjoyed the very beautiful pool surrounded by greenery, we went on an excursion to the river guided by Francesco and it was very fun and instructive (complete with a black clay mask and 'water baptism') and above all, to the great joy of our little girl, the visit to the farm: cows, sheep, rabbits, chicks, pigs, and jumping on hay bales, a wonder! We were able to taste Umbrian cuisine thanks to nonna Rosy through a tasty dinner but especially through the abundant breakfast that welcomed us every morning. What we will never forget, however, was the hospitality and kindness of everyone. Thank you.

Clean and very spacious accommodation. Exceptional people attentive to the needs, especially of children, who make the stay unforgettable. Nice opportunity to participate in the 'educational farm'. I had booked for 3 nights and in the end we stayed for a week. The place is wonderful, immersed in the green of the Umbrian countryside far from the frenzy of the city. The managers (Francesco, Lucia, and the rest of the family) make you feel at home right away. Recommended for families with children who can have fun in the educational farm, in the pool, and on excursions to the river. Breakfast is more than abundant. Thanks to the strategic location, we were able to visit beautiful cities (Gubbio, Assisi, Perugia).

Immersed in the greenery and in a strategic point of Umbria; the agriturismo I Due Mondi made us experience a wonderful stay! We came together with our 2 and a half year old son who had a great time! The scents, colors, and emotions that surrounded us are many: direct contact with the farm animals, play area, many spots to relax and enjoy the view. The welcome was extremely warm, the food tasted both at dinner and breakfast, excellent. What can I say... Spend a vacation (even a short one) to believe it. Moreover, you can move around very well and visit many cities: Montone, Gubbio, Assisi, Perugia... Beautiful!

Francesco, the manager, and his family made the stay very familiar by involving our little girls in every educational activity. Here you can enjoy the farm life for real, live in a beautiful stone house, and enjoy a quiet time surrounded by animals, fig trees, apple trees and silence. There's a pool to dive in, a bridge to cross, horses to ride on, and rabbits to kiss. A real paradise for children full of little bicycles, a plastic playground and great hosts, caring, energetic and informative, that explain everything you need to know about animals, both in Italian and english, and will even let your young ones try to ride a tractor. The breakfast is very generous, and includes home made cakes, fresh bread, fruit juice, cappuccino, cornflakes, cheese and prosciutto, fresh fruits, and also toasts and cornettos. there's a vegetable garden outside the kitchen. We came at the end of September and were the only guests, even though there are only great comments to read about this place. I'll recommend this place for families that search for tranquility in a beautiful surrounding. It's safe, fun, and fresh.

Excellent hospitality and friendliness of the managers, professional and nice. I highly recommend it, for families with children, a real educational farm!

Beautiful farmhouse managed with passion and love for the land and animals. All the staff was very kind and attentive to the needs of our one and a half year olds. Interesting and engaging farm tour. Beautiful location that allows you to easily visit the rest of the region (Assisi, Gubbio, Trasimeno). Dinners were also excellent. Thanks again to everyone and if we pass through the area again we know where to stop!

Extremely kind and very good with children. The visit to the educational farm was fun and instructive even for adults. Delicious dinner, with excellent quality products of own production.
