Beschreibung

The Baldassari Farmhouse is located in Avendita, a small village in a strategic position just 5 km from Cascia and 10 km from Norcia.

The farmhouse originates from the Baldassari family's agricultural company, which has been carrying out this activity for generations, respecting the environmental balance and practicing organic farming aimed at improving the quality of its products.

Leading this company are the spouses Loris and Katia and their 4 children: Mirko, Jessica, Sara, and Mattia, where each one collaborates to the best of their abilities, trying to make hospitality as comfortable and cheerful as possible.

All the products that come from the farm are destined for processing and packaging before reaching your plates.

Most of the proposals you will find on the menu of our restaurant are locally sourced; such as cold cuts, pasta, all legumes, and desserts prepared with love using blends of in-house produced flours. Nearby activities also produce oil, wine, and many other quality products for us.

The structure has a total of 11 rooms, 6 of which are located in the main building and another 5 in another complex within the company.

Among the various services, in addition to the restaurant and the internal bar, during the summer it is possible to enjoy (by advance reservation) a beautiful solarium with a whirlpool immersed in greenery.

For sports and nature enthusiasts, on the other hand, the structure provides state-of-the-art electric bikes to discover the surrounding area with digital maps and routes suitable for every need.

The property is well-maintained, spotless, and immersed in greenery, ideal for those seeking tranquility and authenticity. The food? Simply extraordinary: genuine dishes, rich in flavor and prepared with the freshest ingredients, many of which are from local sources. Every meal was a little journey into Umbrian tradition. It is rare to find a place where everything is so harmonious: from the location to the welcome, from cleanliness to excellence in the kitchen. An experience I will carry in my heart. Good morning, we were a few days ago in this agriturismo in a small district Avenida, 15 minutes from Cascia and we found it good. The breakfast I would say is almost only sweet, with cakes and croissants and really good muffins. The food was a 10 and praise with generous portions. Our room on the ground floor was tastefully furnished but a bit small, however the bathroom was okay. There is excellent cleanliness. However, I have an important note to emphasize: the agriturismo I believe is at an altitude of about 800 m and does not have an air conditioning system, so with the scorching heat of these days, I had to ask for a fan, also because, being on the ground floor, they could not keep the windows open, as might have been the case on the upper floors. I would recommend them to provide a fan for each room. PS: I want to emphasize that my request for the same was immediately provided.

We stayed in this B&B for two nights and in addition to the breakfast included in the price, we tried the dishes prepared in the restaurant that is part of the structure. Everything was very good, my partner enjoyed the arrosticini and the pizza for me is delicious. Our room was equipped with everything necessary, clean and welcoming. The location of the B&B was an excellent choice to visit places of faith and spirituality and at the same time the plain of Castelluccio with its magnificent colors.

Ideal place to visit Norcia, Cascia and the surroundings. Country house immersed in greenery, comfortable and clean rooms. We found courtesy and hospitality. We also appreciated the dinner at the restaurant. The menu is not very extensive, but the dishes we tried were all good, made with excellent raw materials. It's a pity we only stayed one night.

I had booked two rooms with a bathroom above the restaurant since I had a very small girl, but in the end we found ourselves staying in a farmhouse with only one bathroom and steep stairs, therefore not very convenient for the girl and anyway three hundred meters from Agriturismo Baldassari. To be honest, the owner had informed us a few days before the change of plans, but I thought that having paid for two rooms with bathrooms, I would still have the second bathroom. We had agreed on a price, but then the person who checked us in demanded a higher price. In the end, I had to show the email with the price to pay what we had agreed upon, with no little embarrassment. Little cleanliness because there were some spiders on the walls. It is true that this is a farmhouse, but maybe I would check the walls before the guest's arrival. The breakfast was excellent, fresh homemade pastries that were very good, but there was no savory option. The dinner was fabulous with quality products and friendly staff.

Very clean structure, the boys very helpful, the breakfast with 4 types of homemade sweets in addition to croissants, for the savory you ask and they bring you a nice plate of typical cold cuts, cheese and if you wish also eggs. All of good quality and with some care (oversights due to the young age of the boys), like adding a knife, spoon, bread, label on the jam to know what type it is, the breakfast is a 10, we also had dinner and it was excellent.
