Description

The holiday farm Annamaria is situated on the hills overlooking the Lake Trasimeno - 4 km from Castiglione del Lago and 10 km from Tuscany - and offers panoramic views of the lake and the surrounding beautiful countryside.

We can offer to our guests friendly and familiar hospitality and 4 different apartment:
- "Agrifoglio apartment" is composed of a large living-and dining-room, with a fully equipped kitchen and a sofa bed, bedroom with a double bed and two twin beds, bathroom; heating, TV, bed and bath linen.

It can lodge from 2 to 6 peoples.

- "Ginestra apartment" is composed of a large living-and dining-room, with a fully equipped kitchen and a sofa bed, bedroom with a double bed and two twin beds, bathroom; heating, TV, bed and bath linen and a wonderful terrace with panoramic view on the Trasimeno lake.

It can lodge from 2 to 6 peoples.

- "Biancospino apartment" for two people, has one room with bathroom, heating, cooking facilities, TV, bed and bath linen, and a wonderful terrace with panoramic view on the Trasimeno lake. Possibility to add a little bed.

- "Nocciolo apartment" for 2/3 people, has one room with bathroom, heating, cooking facilities, TV, bed and bath linen, and a wonderful terrace with panoramic view on the Trasimeno lake. Possibility to add a little bed.

At our guests' disposal there is a large equipped garden with swimming-pool, gazebo and playground, full of trees and flowers. In the our big garden there is also an individual plot for rural camping, accomodating up to 4/5 peoples: they have al their disposal a building with a common room (living-and dining-room with kitchen) and large bathroom.

We offer a breakfast/tasting with some healthy and natural products that we produce ourselves, such as extra-virgin olive oil, various types of jam, fagiolina del Trasimeno, and an excellent local DOC wine.

Our main production is extra-virgin olive oil, for which we are authorized to bottle. We obtain a high-quality, 100% natural, delicious, and healthy product from our olives, which are registered with the Umbria DOP.

Annamaria's jams, available in various flavors, are made exclusively from our fruits, which are carefully cultivated following the best natural criteria.

Fagiolina is a typical and characteristic legume of our area. It is a traditional and tasty specialty that, when cooked and seasoned raw with extra-virgin olive oil, can be served as an appetizer, side dish, or first course.

The wine called "Colli del Trasimeno" DOC, both red and white, is produced from the transformation of the best grapes collected in the gentle hills that surround Lake Trasimeno.

We often offer our guests "free of charge" vegetables, eggs, and fresh fruit, all of our own production.

Hello, my name is Annamaria and I was born and have always lived in the municipality of Castiglione del Lago. For over 20 years, my family and I have been running our small farmhouse with great pleasure. I have had the pleasure and honor of welcoming and hosting many people from all over the world. With my guests, I want to establish a friendly and familiar relationship. Many of them come back to stay with us and have become friends. I like to imagine that our farmhouse can always be perceived as an oasis of peace, friendship, and relaxation. Very pretty property from an aesthetic point of view and immersed in the surrounding hills. The hosts are cordial, kind and ready to fulfill anything you ask; like a family, they make guests feel at ease. I also recommend it for families with children: there is a large garden to play in and an area with tables and chairs where every evening people gather to talk with other guests and the hosts, discussing the days spent discovering places of worship and art.

We had a wonderful stay at Anna-Maria’s, who welcomed us exceptionally well. The apartment is very clean, and everything is organized to make the guest feel comfortable. A wonderful place, immersed in nature but close to interesting places. Here you will feel welcomed and become part of Annamaria's family, very kind and truly welcoming people who will strive to make your stay perfect. You will be surrounded by the beauty and care of a special family. The landscape around you is rejuvenating and wonderful, a happy oasis rich in olive trees, a large well-kept garden with fruit trees, a pond, and a magnificent pool that you can enjoy to find refreshment and relaxation. Genuine and authentic Annamaria farmhouse, in a strategic location between the most beautiful villages of Trasimeno and the cultural cities of Siena, Perugia, and Arezzo. Immersed in greenery, among olive trees and orchards, very well-kept, large and clean swimming pool, a beautiful pergola where you can have dinner or lunch, there is even a barbecue, a pond with frogs, and several games for children. Annamaria and her husband are lovely, they offer genuine products from their farm and many stories of their local history related to the area. We will definitely come back to spend more time with them in that little paradise.

The Agriturismo Annamaria is a place that enters your heart, for how it is managed by the owners who are attentive to all the needs of the guests and for the atmosphere in the hamlet of Frattavecchia. The structure is located in a strategic point of Umbria and from there it is possible to visit practically all of it, even bordering on Tuscany; it is well cared for and very clean, thanks to the incessant work of the owners who welcome guests as if they were family, often letting them taste the fruits of their garden. My family and I can't wait to return. It has become our favorite place. Highly recommended.

I stayed at Agriturismo Annamaria a while ago, we had a great time. The place is lovely, the owners are very kind people, Annamaria and Danilo, make you feel at home. The breakfast is delicious, made with homemade products. The apartments are clean and welcoming. Suitable for those who want to relax from stress because it allows you to take beautiful walks in the middle of the greenery. Recommended for families with young children.

We stayed at this agriturismo found by pure chance, and we were welcomed by the two fantastic owners who made us feel at home. Available for everything, extremely generous by also providing their delicious products such as fruit, vegetables, and more! Cleanliness of the apartment and the outside area, including the pool area, all to the smallest detail. An oasis of peace and tranquility throughout the area, yet only a 5-minute drive from Castiglione del Lago. Truly a great find and a beautiful experience that we highly recommend.

The structure is located in a true agriturismo context. The availability of the managers has always been excellent and they have always related to us with cordiality, establishing an almost familiar friendly relationship. We found cleanliness and everything in order regarding the items in the apartment and at our disposal. Good breakfasts with the legendary jams of Annamaria and her cakes. A moment in which we got to know each other better and where mutual esteem and consequent friendship grew. We promised to return, also because besides feeling good, those areas offer countless things to discover, and in those few days, we couldn't see everything, perhaps it will take years to do so. We thank Annamaria and Danilo who made us feel good, two wonderful people!

The agriturismo is located in a wonderful enchanted place. The only noise comes from the crickets and cicadas. The fields of wheat, corn, fruit trees, and olive trees fill this picture with a thousand shades. Framing all this is a splendid couple of people whom I wish everyone to meet because they make you feel at home. Hospitality, kindness, and availability make these people an added value of the agriturismo. My greatest compliments to Mrs. Annamaria who delighted our simple and genuine breakfasts with homemade cakes. This is the meaning of agriturismo, what you eat is produced in-house. That is why this is a true agriturismo. We will definitely come back to visit you, you have remained in our hearts even though we only spent 2 nights with you.
