The Abbey is located in the picturesque "Valley of Genius," built on the foundations of an ancient temple dedicated to the pagan god Genius, which is where the name Vallingegno comes from. Surrounded by a lush farm, it sits atop a cool hill, where you can encounter deer, squirrels, sparrows, and butterflies in a charming natural setting.

Guests will be welcomed into spacious apartments equipped with all modern comforts, with access to large communal areas. This establishment is perfect for ensuring the privacy of guests while also providing opportunities for socializing and participating in shared activities, making it ideal for groups of families or friends.

The apartments are heated and available year-round, complete with a kitchen. Additionally, catering services can be requested, and tastings of both local and regional specialties can be arranged.

Within the Abbey, you will also find a church offering religious services. Upon request, you can book walks along the Francis Trail, yoga classes, culinary tours, and many other activities.

Guido, a nutritionist, has chosen to continue the successful and lovingly established venture created by his mother. He has designed a few "gastro-health" tours for guests to sample scientifically reimagined traditional products. Stefano, the guardian angel of the abbey, will always be present, guiding guests throughout their stay with numerous helpful suggestions. Isabella, Ornella, Francesco, and Giannermete (just to name a few) will help uncover the various activities available during the holiday.

I believe this property fully respects the environment in which it is located. The feeling when you arrive is one of complete peace and relaxation, where people can reclaim their time and leave everything else behind. Stefano's helpfulness was greatly appreciated. Dr. Monicelli was an excellent host and a great speaker about the history of the abbey. I am extremely satisfied with everything offered by the property. I will definitely return, perhaps in another season to see the different colors of the surrounding nature. Thank you.
