Casa Vacanze La Superba is a large house located in the heart of the Val di Chiana in the municipality of Foiano, the city of the oldest Carnival in Italy, in the Province of Arezzo convenient to the Equestrian Center of S. Zeno (14 km), Arezzo city and the thermal sites of Rapolano (16 km) and Chianciano (28 km). The area, today a destination for tourists from all over the world for the artistic wealth of cities such as Arezzo (29 km), Siena (38 km), Florence (70 km) and well-known villages such as Cortona, Lucignano, Civitella or Castiglion Fiorentino among others, has been known since ancient times for its purely agricultural vocation. The Aglione DOP, the Chianina cow, the Nobile di Montepulciano and the Pici are just some of the many typical and renowned products of the area.
The house, in red brick and stone, is recognizable by the Canadian vine that climbs it and by the red shutters, has one of the accesses from the garden, inside which there is the private parking, and a table with umbrella to enjoy breakfast, an aperitif or dinner outdoors, surrounded by greenery and flowers.
Going up the stairs, you enter the double living room with the equipped kitchen and the dining room, whose table was the door of an ancient Genoese Villa. On the same floor you will find a large double bedroom and an elegant bathroom with shower in the adjacent corridor. From here you enter the large living room where also there are two single beds. A door will lead you to the stairs to the attic: you will find yourself in a warm and welcoming space, with original exposed beams, divided into two rooms used as double bedrooms and an exclusive bathroom with shower. There is an air conditioning system that works also as a heat pump in every room of the attic and a small TV.
Possibility of travel cot for children from 6 to 36 months, optional and free

It varies from time to time, depending on what the season gives us: from fruits to locally produced cured meets and cheeses, milk or other vegetable drinks, fruit juices, espresso or moka coffee, sweet cakes and/or savoury focaccias, also linked to the traditions of our people, homemade bread, butter, jams and more.
As far as possible, we try to accomodate our guests by always askink about their preferences and any food intolerances.
Weather permitting, breakfast is served in the garden.

We are Alessandra and Mauro and together with our son Sebastiano we have chosen to undertake this singular and fascinating adventure, letting ourselves be won over by the Val di Chiana and the characteristic village of Pozzo, by the serenity and the vineyards, by the strong sense of community and hospitality that we discovered around this large and splendid house with the red shutters! And then the wine, the food, the art and the paintings that nature and the landscape give us leave us breathless!
