Private and reserved parking with electric car charging. Close to San Gimignano, easily reached by a short walk. The city, included in the Unesco World Heritage, is a center of art, culture, and breathtaking views in the beautiful Tuscan hills. Centrally located to reach the historical and most interesting places in the area. In addition to the main cities, Florence, Siena, Pisa, easily accessible are Volterra, Certaldo, the Chianti Classico area, and the beautiful Sienese countryside. A gastronomy rich in flavors and tradition. Only 6 rooms, for a stay in total tranquility. Rich buffet breakfast every morning. Shared fully equipped kitchen with other guests.

In addition to my property at Villa Alba, I also own the "La Stella" Restaurant, located in the heart of San Gimignano's historic center. The restaurant is managed by my son Paolo, who will offer you a delightful selection of traditional dishes from our beloved Tuscan land. You can enjoy the renowned "Fiorentina" steak, our pappardelle pasta with wild boar sauce, typical soups, and accompany it all with our most representative wines, such as the famous "Vernaccia di San Gimignano", Chianti Classico, and a selection of fine wines. Don't forget to savor the Vin Santo with our delicious "cantuccini" biscuits.

My name is Piero, the owner of Villa Alba. I have been doing this job since I was a teenager. In the reality of San Gimignano, it was quite natural that my professional path could be this, but I believe that even if I had been born in another city, I would still have done this job because it has always been my passion, and the smile of my customers is the greatest recognition I can have from my work.

In addition to Villa Alba, I am also the owner of the restaurant "La Stella" located in the historic center of San Gimignano. The restaurant is managed by my son Paolo, who will make you taste many typical dishes of our Tuscan land, such as the famous "Fiorentina," our pappardelle with wild boar sauce, the typical soups, accompanied by our most typical wines, the "Vernaccia di San Gimignano," the Chianti Classico, and exquisite selection wines. Not to mention the Vin Santo with our "cantuccini."
Do not hesitate to ask, I will be very happy to help you. Even if I am not very familiar with languages, I know the universal language of gestures, of smiles, and this helps me overcome many difficulties. If this is not enough, I am not alone, I have someone with me who can help me understand you.

Somewhat dated property a short walk from the center of San Gimignano. The owner seen once for commitments but it was not a problem given how positively we were followed by Asmitha. Good breakfast, but it would have been really great with more homemade products. Indeed excellent the savory breakfast. Recommended!

My son and I stayed for two nights at Villa Alba! We had a great time! Very nice room, close to the city center within walking distance in a few minutes and the friendliness and courtesy of the managers. Moreover, the property has a beautiful pool, very much appreciated! And last but not least, a delicious and abundant breakfast! Highly recommended property.

We stayed for two nights with our dog, who was welcomed very well. Villa Alba is very beautiful, well kept in detail and clean. The owners and staff were super helpful and caring with every guest present. It is excellent for its location, as it is a stone's throw from the center of San Gimignano and can be easily reached on foot without having to take the car. Internal parking. Overall quiet environment and good breakfast, fresh typical food.

Continuing our tour of central Italy, we chose Villa Alba as the starting point to visit the area. We stayed for 2 nights in this bed and breakfast located about a 10-minute walk from Villa Alba. I want to emphasize the extreme proximity to an excellent grocery store and typical products. Spacious and clean room, fairly comfortable bed. Fairly recent bathroom with good quality courtesy kit. Wi-Fi available, a small TV, and a fridge in the kitchen located on the same floor as the room. Quiet and peaceful stay. The decor is characterized by floral patterns and colors that reflect the name of the room. Indoor parking. The garden is very pleasant, with chairs, tables, a rocking chair, and the pool area with a whirlpool. The pool loungers are reserved per room, much appreciated. Unfortunately, ours were in the sun only during the hottest hours, but you can move them compatibly with the distances from other guests. The staff is kind and helpful as well as the owners. The best breakfast of the whole tour! Wide choice of sweet and savory foods and cold and hot drinks to be ordered the day before for the next day on a special card. Also in the breakfast room (absolutely fantastic and carefully designed in every detail!), the table is always the same and reserved for the room. If available, ask for rooms with a balcony to eventually hang swimsuits and towels.

An excellent facility from all points of view: rooms, cleanliness, breakfast, swimming pool, parking, distance from the center of San Gimignano, and last but not least the kindness of the managers and their friendliness. Truly deserving. There is also a good word to be said for the affiliated restaurant: such a good Florentine steak is not easily found and the pici and/or pappardelle with those sauces are something delicious for the palate.

We found the only accommodation in the province and surroundings that accepted the holiday bonus for 80%. The property is located just below San Gimignano, close to the parking lots for the historic center. The pool is decent, a bit dirty but the weather was bad. The room is standard in size, the breakfast excellent. They also accept dogs!

If you want to go to a facility and feel at home, this is the perfect one. Courtesy to the nth power, unique availability both from the staff and the owners, truly exquisite people. The rooms are cared for in the smallest details, clean and tidy, something never seen before. Super abundant breakfast and of excellent quality, 5 minutes walk from the center, what more could you want from life. We really enjoyed our stay in this facility and it will surely be our favorite location when we return to Tuscany.

A pleasant stay at Villa Alba, a beautiful structure managed with sympathy and courtesy by Simona and Piero, two exquisite people, as well as the lady who took care of breakfast (whose name we unfortunately do not know). Fantastic jams prepared by Simona and served with breakfast! The location is ideal for walking to the center of San Gimignano without worrying about parking (10 minutes). Interesting the possibility of having half board, dining at the La Stella restaurant with an excellent quality/price ratio. The pool with whirlpool allows for a nice moment of relaxation after a day spent visiting the many places in the surroundings.

A beautiful bouquet of bed and breakfast, very friendly and attentive hosts. The cleaning and sanitizing are very accurate. Breakfast is served at the table after filling out 2 pages of choices ranging from aged Tuscan ham for over 3 years (and you can feel it... too good!), bruschettas, omelettes, brioches, tarts, crepes, fruit, fruit salad, yogurt etc. Lovely pool with whirlpool equipped with sun loungers, tables, chairs and a gazebo with relaxation area. About 300 meters from the center of San Gimignano... I will return!

Beautiful villa with few but well-kept rooms, close to the historic center. In the morning, you can visit the beautiful nearby villages and in the afternoon relax by the pool. Simona and Piero are very kind and helpful, Tamara is very nice, and the breakfast is super abundant. I would go back.

This is a lovely place to stay. Piero and Laura and his family are very welcoming. The house is beautifully decorated throughout and the rooms are very comfortable. There is a useful communal kitchen with a fridge. It has a nice garden with pool. The breakfast was lovely and included the owner's home made jams. San Gimignano was a short walk away, a very interesting and beautiful town with delicious food and wine.

Mi dispiace molto che lei non abbia visto il giardino di Villa Alba nella stagione primaverile. Io curo personalmente l' esterno e la faccio con tanta passione. Purtroppo quest'anno è stato un inverno con neve, pioggia e molto vento e purtroppo le piante ne hanno risentito. Con il prolungarsi della brutta stagione non è stato possibile curare il giardino più di tanto - Comunque io avrei molto piacere se in futuro lei potesse tornare a Villa Alba in piena stagione e vedere il glicine e i gelsomini in fiore, le piante degli agrumi con i frutti, gli iris, le ortensie, i gerani sbocciati e tutto il giardino con la piscina arredati per la stagione. Beautiful villa close to this delightful Tuscan town. It’s a steep-ish walk up to the town but everything is in easy reach. Hosts are absolutely delightful, breakfast is nice, and as a bonus the owner also runs a restaurant in the town. We would love to stay there again.

This property was exactly what we wanted. We wanted to be in walking distance of S. Gimignano, but with a swimming pool and private parking. The room was comfortable, so were the beds, and there was a good shower. There was a small kitchen with a balcony for lunch or supper, and tea and coffee to make at any time. Plenty of outside space with garden seats for a quiet drink in the evening. The pool was big enough to swim in, with loungers around. A gentle stroll took us into town, with plenty of restaurants, shops and gelaterias, and lots of history and breathtaking scenery. The breakfast was the same each day, but always croissants, bread, toast, home made jams, juice, tea or coffee, home cured hams and local cheese, yogurts and cereals. Hosts were friendly and helpful - definitely recommended.

We enjoyed our visit to San Gimigiamo and Villa Alba. Pietro, Mona & Tamara were wonderful! They were the perfect hosts. We spent much time at the villa their accommodation were perfect and close to city center, we were also able to prepare our Pasta with Pesto in the kitchen. Un soggiorno davvero piacevole di due notti, camera accogliente con terrazzino come promesso, giardino e piscina gradevoli, colazione buona in una deliziosa taverna, parcheggio comodissimo e ottima la vicinanza al centro di San Gimignano, raggiungibile a piedi. Cortesia e accoglienza del titolare. Ottimo anche il Ristorante La Stella, convenzionato, in cui abbiamo pranzato e cenato, con un ottimo rapporto qualità e prezzo.

Cadre agréable et calme, à proximité du centre accessible à pied. Petit déjeuner sous forme d'un buffet très varié et complet (charcuterie, fromage, fruits, etc...). Avec l'arrivée de l'automne (humidité et fraîcheur), le chauffage aurait été le bienvenu, le linge de toilette restant mouillé d'un jour sur l'autre. La décoration est jolie mais laisse peu de place au rangement. L'accueil est un peu froid et impersonnel.

Posto eccellente; struttura dotata di parcheggio molto importante per la vicinanza al centro. Piero, il gestore è disponibile e simpaticissimo. La colazione è abbondante e ricca e comprende anche salumi e pecorini toscani.

Ad inizio settembre abbiamo trascorso 3 stupendi giorni nel B&B del sig. Piero, scelto grazie ad internet senza conoscerlo tra i tanti di S. Gimignano, per l'evidente comodità del parcheggio, della vicinanza a piedi al centro storico e della tranquillità del luogo. Il titolare si è dimostrato essere con noi una persona riservata, onesta, cortese e simpatica (senza essere ruffiano, non so se mi capite, non solo apparenza intendo). Belle persone pure i genitori e la signora addetta alla colazione, era come se ci conoscessero da sempre. Villa veramente carina; park auto privato all'ombra; dondolo in giardino; colazione abbondante e varia; camera romantica, fresca e ben aerata grazie alle due finestre. E come se non bastasse già tutto questo: una fanstastica piscina con angolo idromassaggio e sdraio gratuite. I soldi meglio spesi nella mia vita!

Ho scoperto questo tranquillo e carino B&B tramite una ricerca in rete di B&B in quel di San Gimignano. Dopo aver letto la descrizione della struttura e viste le foto sul sito mi è subito piaciuto ed ho prenotato. Posso affermare per quanti leggeranno la mia recensione che il B&B è un'ottima struttura recentemente restaurata, con camere arredate con gusto e accuratezza e tra loro differenti. È dotato anche di una piscina. Vi è la possibilità di parcheggiare l'auto e recarsi a piedi al centro che dista circa 300 metri. Al mattino successivo si è fatta un'ottima colazione con brioche calde ma sopratutto con uno squisito prosciutto. Voglio anche segnalare l'ottima accoglienza e cordialità del Sig. Piero e la sua mamma. Nulla da eccepire sul prezzo che ritengo adeguato. Ne approfitto per un cordiale saluto.

Noi siamo stati in toscana x festeggiare il capodanno. Già al telefono, parlando con il proprietario Piero mi ha fatto un'ottima impressione. Ma quando siamo arrivati abbiamo respirato da subito una cortesia ed una ospitalità genuina e simpatica che ci hanno subito conquistati. Parcheggio comodissimo. Le camere sono pulitissime, accoglienti e soprattutto bellissime. Appena entrati in camera, ci hanno fatto trovare dei buonissimi biscotti tipici toscani (Brutti ma buoni, ricciarelli, tozzetti..) con del buonissimo vin santo. La colazione poi.. c'era una torta di mele, fatta dalla signora, che era insuperabile, credo nn aver mai mangiato una torta di mele coìi buona, il prosciutto buonissimo. Il gestore Piero ha anche un ottimo ristorante, dove fanno pappardelle al cinghiale e carne chianina buonissima! Ve lo consiglio senza esitazione! Struttura deliziosa, camera ampia e pulitissima. Posizione ottima appena fuori le mura, poche centinaia di metri a piedi, con possibilità di parcheggiare in villa. Colazione squisita e abbondante, il prossciutto semplicemente divino. Piero, il gestore, gentilissimo e simpaticissimo. Il prezzo il giusto. Se ritorno so dove fermarmi!
