Very good accommodation. The only thing to keep in mind is that it is small and you can hear the other guests quite a bit when they enter or leave.

NOTE: There are 2 places with the address via Cerretani, 1 and they are 100m apart! If you reach the Duomo go back towards the Stazione Centrale on the left side and look for a large Hotel Perseo sign opposite BNL Bank. That is the entrance gate you need! Daniel gave us no such instructions despite repeated calls and emails from Australia and during our trip, which made us very stressed. He will give you 3 codes to get through security to the first floor when you arrive. Be aware that you also need to pay cash of 6€/day/person, Tourist Tax, so get a receipt!

The room was nicely appointed and very clean. The shower was typically a small European shower but that is to be expected. The breakfast was not provided on site. It was at another B&B about half a mile away. The breakfast was just OK. But almost not worth the walk.

All perfect. The property is located 10 minutes walk from Santa Maria Novella station. Strategically positioned a stone's throw from the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore. Given the size of the city, you are practically within walking distance of any destination. They are super organized, kind and precise welcome, they support you in everything with cordiality, sending super detailed messages via WhatsApp. The room was spotless, excellently furnished, comfortable bathroom, spacious shower. They provide customers with a kettle and minibar in the room, a coffee machine with pods for common use, a fridge always stocked with cold water at very fair prices! There are even umbrellas for customers to use! You can't say anything except, thank you for the impeccable hospitality.

We enjoyed very much our stay at Residenza Maglioni al Battistero. Great location next to the Santa María del Fiore and 5-15 min walking distance from other attractions. Also very close to SM Novella Train Station (walkable distance if not with many luggages or summer heat). Room was spacious, clean, and had everything we needed. Definitely recommended!

Amazing location, cool old building, no funny smells, clean room, AC worked nicely, plenty of room for 2 of us. There was a little confusion/mixed-communication with the manager on our arrival time (didn’t help that I had poor international cell service the first day traveling, which also meant gps didn’t work and we got lost for an hour+ walking from the train station); however, we got it all worked out. Instructions for the room and checking out were very clear. I would go back here in a heartbeat. Perfect for a few days in Florence!

Very central location just steps away from the Baptistery. Spacious, clean room and friendly staff. They provide a coffee machine and water bottles for only 50 cents. On the check-out day, they allow you to leave your luggage at the property and pick it up whenever you want. Highly recommended!

I was confused on the house number: Via De Cerretani 1. I went to number one, but there was no Tourist House. At last we met someone who told us that there are two number systems on the street: new and old. Thereafter we found the other number one. Confusing when you arrive with luggage and everything.

Easy to reach from the train station and convenient as a base to reach every corner of the city. Cozy and clean room, with a private bathroom, very good sleep quality. We stayed at this property on Saturday, November 23rd. We were welcomed by the courtesy and competence of the owner. We found the room in excellent condition, exactly as described on the website. We were also greeted with a kettle at our disposal and various types of drinks to choose from. Additionally, in the common area, we could enjoy coffee and water, a really nice idea. The scent and colors of each environment made everything very pleasant. We highly recommend it, and for our next stay in Florence, we have no doubts: Tourist House Battistero.

Excellent quality-price ratio, friendly and helpful staff. The location is ideal for those who want to comfortably visit the historical center of Florence on foot: the main monuments and museums are all a few minutes' walk from the B&B. It is also easily reachable from the station. I am happy to have chosen this B&B. If I were to return to Florence, I would probably stay here again.
