Area Ponte Vecchio
Oltrarno is the area's name where the studio is located, crossed Ponte Vecchio, it is at 50 Mt from it. It is a cheerful and lively district, where you can easily find restaurants, pizzerias, luggage point, an ATM and shops of various kinds. Within 50 meters there are a Supermarket, a post office and a laundry. By walk you can easily reach Ponte Vecchio (1 minute) Piazza della Signoria, Uffizi and Palazzo Vecchio (6 minutes) Santa Croce (12 minutes) Piazza del Duomo (10 minutes).
Florence was pratically made for walking, in fact From the Studio, you can explore the City by walk, but you can also use the minibuses ("C4" bus line) that travel through the historic center (C4 bus line stop to Main Station in Firenze and to Pitti Square and/or Via dei Bardi, these last two are close the Studio) you can purchase the ticket bus in all the shops which present the ATAF label on their Windows and remember to validate your ticket once you get on. Renting a car is not recommended because skinny, one-way streets, make driving a nightmare and the Studio is inside a ZTL that is relegated to authorized traffic only, by the way, For those traveling by car considering to pay for parking, there are a couple of private parking very close to the Studio. For those arriving at Santa Maria Novella Station, they are 20 minutes on foot, or it is connected to Line "C4" minibuses. For those arriving at the Amerigo Vespucci airport in Florence, there is the "VOLAINBUS" service with Airbus shuttle to / from the airport, or at last, the most comfortable T2 metro surface tramvia. Cabs usually are parked just outside the Arrival terminal.

My partner and I traveled to Florence for a weekend and booked the SottoPonteVecchio property which already looked quite nice and cozy from the photos. Upon our arrival we were greeted by the owner, Alessandra, an exquisite person who made herself available for anything. I can only recommend this facility because we had a great time, very clean and the location is very central. If I were to return to Florence I would like to stay here again.
