SottoPonteVecchio, the Studio Apartment (24 sqm) is located on the 3rd floor with elevator (there are 7-10 steps before the elevator) and overlooks Via Guicciardini, a connecting artery between Ponte Vecchio and Piazza Pitti.
You will be less than a minute's walk from Ponte Vecchio, immersed in the historic center of the city, just a few minutes away from Florence's major artistic expressions. You can easily move around on foot without the need for public or private transportation. The neighborhood where the apartment is located is called Oltrarno, one of the liveliest and most cheerful neighborhoods in Florence.
Comfortable and well-equipped, the studio includes a double bed, a wardrobe, a bathroom with shower, toilet, and sink. A kitchenette with a microwave, induction hob for two pots, and a fridge. Free WiFi and hot-cold air conditioning available. Renewed, perfect for 1 or 2 people.
The apartment is also equipped with a numeric keypad and a Keybox for self-check-in access (to be arranged with the Host). On the street where the apartment is located (Via dei Barbadori) there are some shops, including a fruit and vegetable shop, 2 laundries, a post office, and a well-stocked supermarket less than 100 meters away, and a bank with an ATM in front!
SottoPonteVecchio is located in the historic center, in the ZTL, where transit and parking are not allowed. However, guests with cars can comfortably use the nearby paid garages, one of which is located downstairs, or 50 meters away in Borgo San Jacopo, or 150 meters away in Via dei Bardi. It is recommended to book parking in these garages before arrival, especially during high season.
Minors under the age of 18 can access the studio if accompanied by an adult, a parent, or a legal guardian.

Area Ponte Vecchio
Oltrarno is the area's name where the studio is located, crossed Ponte Vecchio, it is at 50 Mt from it. It is a cheerful and lively district, where you can easily find restaurants, pizzerias, luggage point, an ATM and shops of various kinds. Within 50 meters there are a Supermarket, a post office and a laundry. By walk you can easily reach Ponte Vecchio (1 minute) Piazza della Signoria, Uffizi and Palazzo Vecchio (6 minutes) Santa Croce (12 minutes) Piazza del Duomo (10 minutes).
Florence was pratically made for walking, in fact From the Studio, you can explore the City by walk, but you can also use the minibuses ("C4" bus line) that travel through the historic center (C4 bus line stop to Main Station in Firenze and to Pitti Square and/or Via dei Bardi, these last two are close the Studio) you can purchase the ticket bus in all the shops which present the ATAF label on their Windows and remember to validate your ticket once you get on. Renting a car is not recommended because skinny, one-way streets, make driving a nightmare and the Studio is inside a ZTL that is relegated to authorized traffic only, by the way, For those traveling by car considering to pay for parking, there are a couple of private parking very close to the Studio. For those arriving at Santa Maria Novella Station, they are 20 minutes on foot, or it is connected to Line "C4" minibuses. For those arriving at the Amerigo Vespucci airport in Florence, there is the "VOLAINBUS" service with Airbus shuttle to / from the airport, or at last, the most comfortable T2 metro surface tramvia. Unbeatable location with great amenities and a wonderful host. This is the one place I would definitely want to be in for every trip to Florence. Very responsive and proactive host, easy check-in and check-out procedure. Everything worked as expected in this wonderful studio.

Located near Ponte Vecchio. It is the ideal solution for a couple. The owner is very kind and helpful. The structure is essential and clean. We had a very good time and will keep it in mind for a possible further visit to Florence.

The apartment is really very nice, new and extremely clean. The area is also convenient, a stone's throw from all the main attractions. The owner was very kind and didn't let us miss anything, highly recommended.

My partner and I traveled to Florence for a weekend and booked the SottoPonteVecchio property which already looked quite nice and cozy from the photos. Upon our arrival we were greeted by the owner, Alessandra, an exquisite person who made herself available for anything. I can only recommend this facility because we had a great time, very clean and the location is very central. If I were to return to Florence I would like to stay here again.
