Residenza il Carmine welcomes you to experience life like a true Florentine in our home that is also your home. Our picturesque apartments are located in the beloved neighborhood of Santo Spirito, just a stone's throw away from the Ponte Vecchio, Palazzo Pitti, and the Uffizi Gallery.

Our apartments, all beautifully furnished and meticulously maintained, are situated in our garden with a view of the stunning Church of Carmine, within a historic palace from the 1600s.

Each apartment is equipped with air conditioning, individual heating, TV, direct telephone, safe, hairdryer, fully equipped kitchen, linens, and towels.

Everything is included in the price. We look forward to welcoming you soon!

Our apartments come fully furnished and equipped with a separate kitchen, just like being at your own home! Since you'll have your own private apartment with a private kitchen, we do not serve breakfast. Upon your arrival, wèd be delighted to provide you with a welcome basket in the kitchen and fridge. It will include fruit, yogurt, single-serving butter portions, jams, packaged sweets, a bottle of water, and more! You'll find plenty of products.

The apartments, the garden and the terrace are part of our family’s history; they take us back in time to our parents and our grandparents.

We are a family: Emilio, Miriam and Caterina and our collaborator Jonny
We have been hosting customers for 40 years and we love it!
Four of the apartments face the wonderful garden, only the Vescovo apartment has access to the garden through a corridor.

Studios-apartments for 2 guests (35 square meters) : Oro. Incenso. Mirra.

Medium apartment for 2/3 guests (50 square meters) : Vescovo.

Big apartment for 2/3 guests (90 square meters) : Domus.

In the garden you can find a secular olive tree, different varieties of fruit trees, flowers, plants, a nymphaeum and of course the lovely solarium terrace with the view on the Carmine church. Such a unique location to create an unforgettable experience!

We are located in the Santo Spirito and San Frediano district, right behind the beautiful Carmine Church and Brancacci Chapel (adorned with frescoes by Masaccio, Masolino, and Filippino Lippi). The apartments are situated in the garden and inside a 1700 Palace, just a stone's throw from Pitti Palace, Boboli Gardens, and the Ponte Vecchio.

Excellent location, very kind and hospitable hosts. Beautiful garden, 15 minutes walk from the station. We will come back. Absolutely recommended.

In July, my husband and I contacted Jonny for one of his apartments in Florence, but not all the dates of our interest were available and Jonny (despite the late hour and the short time between booking and our arrival) was wonderful and helpful to us, and he proposed the apartment in Residenza Il Carmine. Stunning apartment, clean, with all the comforts and 5 minutes from the center. The photos perfectly match what we found. A perfect solution for our needs and even more. All enriched by the friendliness of Jonny and the homeowners, lovely, kind, and very pleasant company. Also, we were welcomed with a welcome wine and everything needed for breakfast and for the stay. We had two beautiful days and it will be a pleasure for us to return as their guests. I heartily recommend it to everyone.

Very lovely, quaint place right in the middle of an awesome, locals neighborhood. The host left us wine, mini pizza and morning pastries when we arrived. There was also a great little kitchenette and coffee provided. Great food and bars, cafes nearby, and a short walk away from all the historical sights in Florence. You’ll love this spot.
