Description

Residenza d'Epoca La Rosa dates back to 1418, after 2 and a half years of restoration with the help of the Superintendence of Archaeology, Fine Arts and Landscape of Siena this splendour has come back to light.

Our two apartments/suites are located in the historic center of Pienza, a few steps from the Duomo and the suggestive view of the Val d'Orcia.

The 45sqm first floor apartment can accommodate up to 4 people and consists of: full kitchen/living room with sofa bed, 1 double bedroom with sofa bed and bathroom.

The 50sqm second floor apartment can accommodate up to 5 people and consists of: full kitchen/living room with sofa bed, 2 double bedrooms and bathroom.

In your apartment/suite you will find water, milk, fruit juices, yoghurt in the refrigerator. In the kitchen, coffee machine (Illy) with espresso pods, decaffeinated coffee, barley, kettle with tea and herbal teas, rusks, jams, nutella and pan di stelle and every morning at 8 you will find fresh croissants. Every day during the rearrangement we will replace what is missing.

An amazing property in an amazing village. One of the best properties we've stayed at. Our host took care of every detail you could imagine. This was a perfect area to explore not only Pienza but also many other neighboring locations. Parking was a breeze and reasonably priced using the Easy Park app. The area was very quiet at night. The unit looks just like the pictures on the site, which is very nice.

We stayed for two nights: me, my wife and our newborn. We had a great time. The property is very well cared for, even in the smallest details, with many thoughtful touches and ample space. It is centrally located in the heart of Pienza and a few meters from the most panoramic spots; it is easy to reach and an excellent base for exploring the entire Val d'Orcia. Andrea was very kind and gave us lots of tips to make the most of Pienza, the Val d'Orcia and beyond. We will return.

Andrea's place was very clean and comfortable with a lot of interesting decorative touches. It is located just inside of one of Piensa gates, and is near several good places to eat and drink. The croissants that Andrea delivered to our door each morning were incredibly delicious. Piensa is very walkable and interesting, and La Rosa is a wonderful place to stay while exploring it. Andrea was a very attentive and responsive host. We highly recommend this bed and breakfast.

Little to say, except to express full satisfaction. Couple stay for a weekend in Val d'Orcia, but it's worth staying more nights to fully enjoy all the possibilities this area offers. Medieval structure in the historic center, excellently maintained with recently renovated interiors, spacious, comfortable rooms, and everything necessary. Owner is available and more than exhaustive for information and suggestions, perfect for those who do not know the area. Excellent breakfast with the nice surprise of croissants found in the morning outside the door (one with cream and one with pistachio), although the small suggestion to give is to ask in advance about any flavors (we did not like the pistachio filling) to fully enjoy the experience.

La Rosa is right in the heart of Pienza. It is extremely clean and very well decorated. We felt comfortable and put our bags down to explore the city right away. The host Andrea is very knowledgeable about the area and we loved his dining suggestions. I have stayed at other rentals in Pienza and Andrea’s place is far better than anything else in town. We look forward to a return visit very soon!

Absolutely delightful place to stay in a charming old building in the heart of the heavenly town of Pienza. The apartment is exactly as shown in the pictures and very comfortable, with really careful attention to decorative details creating a warm and tranquil base for sightseeing. The host is really friendly and welcoming with lots of very helpful information on the area and things you may want to do. Heartily recommend and thank you for such an agreeable stay.

We stayed 2 weeks in Pienza at this wonderful house, always clean thanks to Andrea, the owner. Residence restored to the top, maintaining the originality of the place. \n\nEvery morning breakfast is brought to the door and every day the fridge and the kitchen in general are rearranged. Top cleanliness and strategic point to visit Pienza, Val d’Orcia and Tuscany in general. Recommended.
