Description

The Pievano B&B is a small family-run Bed and Breakfast, located in a building of historical significance; the structure is in typical Tuscan rustic style, and offers bed and breakfast.

The Pievano B&B is located in Cafaggio, along the road that leads from Venturina Terme (Li) to the medieval village of Suvereto. Strategic position as it is close to the many places of historical and tourist interest of the Etruscan Coast, such as the Gulf of Baratti and Populonia, the Sterpaia Park, the medieval villages of Campiglia Marittima and Suvereto, the Parks of the Val di Cornia.

The structure, which has a long history dating back to the Lombard period, has been restored to its original beauty. The furnishings are almost all of the late nineteenth century, so you have the feeling of living immersed in another era, without giving up today's comforts. The Bed and Breakfast is on 2 floors and deliberately includes only 3 rooms with internal services, just to guarantee guests tranquility and relaxation.

At Il Pievano B&B we offer abundant breakfasts that include homemade desserts, cold cuts, cheeses and typical products of the area.

Il Pievano B&B is a small refuge where you can find authentic emotions, Tuscan tradition and relax.

My name is Magda Calcagno, I was born and raised on the Etruscan Coast.

Together with my family, we have decided to undertake the renovation of this property, taking care of the construction work ourselves.

Later on, considering my previous work experiences, we thought of dedicating a part of it to a bed and breakfast, and the other part to Natural Dye and Ecoprinting.

I deeply love my home and my land. I am happy to be able to share it with others and have the opportunity to meet new people.

Fantastic! A little corner of paradise! We only slept one night in this splendid b&b but we will definitely return! Everything is taken care of in the smallest details (from the furnishings to the breakfast) and the welcome and kindness of the owner and her family have won us over. Thermal baths, sea, countryside... there's everything! Highly recommended!

We had a great time, everything was very well cared for and decorated with great style. Excellent service, including an elegant and exquisite breakfast. We went to the nearby beautiful beach of Baratti in the archaeological park of Populonia, in Piombino and Campiglia Marittima. There is so much to see all around, and just a few steps to the Calidario of Venturina Terme. Very kind and cheerful managers. A wonderful stay, thank you for everything.

Breakfast is fantastic - homemade pies and jams, abundant local cold cuts and cheeses - not to be missed! The care of the place that is breathed, both in the house and in the garden, is good for the soul. The furnishings and fabrics (sheets, towels, curtains, tablecloths) are particularly beautiful, like in a movie. And, above all, Magda is truly welcoming, caring, and sunny. Thank you very much!

Unforgettable stay in this wonderful carefully restored dwelling, a real dive into the past. Charming rooms curated in every detail, between artisan soaps and linen linens, a perfect place to experience a small romantic getaway. We only spent one night unfortunately in this corner of paradise. Beautiful structure, cared for in every detail, maximum hospitality and kindness. Strategic point to visit enchanting places in Tuscany and close to amusement parks for children, for example cavallino matto. Absolutely to recommend and to try again.
