An oasis of calm and tranquility in the heart of Florence, Relais Accademia is located on the first floor of
an eighteenth century palace, a former residence of nobles, Galleria Accademia and San Marco Museum are near,
and the Cathedral is only 200 meters away.

It has five newly renovated rooms three faces quiet gardens, other two faces a street that is lively during the day
but tranquil during evening and night hours.

From here in a few minutes you can reach all the most famous tourist points of interest and cultural heritage
of which the city is rich.

At the same time you can walk the streets and squares of the most beautiful and famous for boutique shopping,
and numerous restaurants and bars where you can spend your evenings florentine.

All rooms have new baths, air conditioning, self-adjustable heating and wi-fi internet connection.

Private parking is possible at a location nearby (reservation is needed) and charges are applicable.

A separate kitchen is available to guests.

We are located in the heart of the historic center, just 150 meters away from the Duomo, and a few steps from the Accademia Gallery, which houses Michelangelo's David. All major public transportation stops are nearby, making it easy to reach the surrounding hills and their beauties, Fiesole, concerts, and sporting events at the Artemio Franchi Stadium or the Mandela Forum.

From here, you can visit all the major cultural and tourist attractions in just a few minutes' walk, including Piazza Signoria, Ponte Vecchio, the Uffizi, the Bargello, San Lorenzo, Santa Croce, Santa Maria Novella, the San Lorenzo market and its beautiful basilica, the characteristic Oltrarno district of Florence, and much more.

We stayed 3 days in this property and we felt great. Spacious and clean room, with a practically new bathroom and a small balcony. Quiet and peaceful location. Very kind and helpful hosts. Excellent location in the historic center of Florence. Many renowned attractions can be visited on foot. Spacious and well-cleaned room. The abundant and varied breakfast is served in a nearby bar with very helpful staff. I gladly recommend this structure.

We stayed in room 6 overlooking the main street. The room is very bright and spacious while the bathroom is very small. For a superior room and for the price paid, I would have liked to find at least a small refrigerator since there is surely enough space. It was hot and every time buying a bottle (you pay more for a cold one) and bringing it up was a bit uncomfortable because then it would get warm. There was no television either.

Very large room, very comfortable bedding. Very quiet. 5 minutes from the Duomo. Our bathroom is tiny. Little storage possible in the closet (no shelves to put clothes). For 4 days, it's very annoying. Reception from our host very brief. But I recommend for the calm and ideal location !!

For breakfast the structure collaborates with a nearby bar that is also a restaurant. Everything very good, quite varied and at a reasonable price. I recommend it to everyone. For the structure everything is perfect and in a quiet area that allows undisturbed sleep at night. The manager is a kind, exquisite person always ready to meet the needs of customers. The location is perfect for visiting the city. The street where it is located seemed safe even in the evening. The room is very spacious, welcoming, and clean (as well as the en-suite bathroom). The soundproof windows isolate from the passage of tourists. The owner was very helpful and kind for the reservation and check-in. In the room, there are a kettle and tea bags. It was a perfect stay and if I had to return to Florence, I would definitely stay there again.

Relais Accademia is strategically located to fully experience the center of Florence: a few steps away you can admire the David, the Basilica and the Baptistery. Federico, the manager, was very helpful and friendly. Note that the property is located in the city center, so it is inside the ZTL. If you arrive by car, it can be a bit complicated to reach; you can leave the car outside the ZTL or park it in a paid parking lot in front of the property. It is inside a historic apartment, the room is rather spartan but still functional and welcoming. Very clean. The bathroom in the room is rather small and lacks a bidet. However, the location is very convenient and despite being in the city center, it is also very quiet. Comfortable bed and pillow. There is also a small terrace overlooking a delightful tree-lined courtyard. Reasonable price compared to Florence's standards. I was traveling for work and would definitely return.

Federico super welcoming, allowed us to leave the luggage from 10 am and also for the return. Super location, 3 minutes from the cathedral. Looking out the window, you can see Giotto's bell tower. Super spacious superior room with a comfortable shower.

We had a really spacious room on the 'piano nobile' first floor of a flat in original conditions of a Palazzo with long corridors, etc. Good bed and mattress. Windows facing the street with good soundproofing, people walking on the street did not disturb us at all. The host is very friendly and helpful, and we appreciated that he rents rooms in a flat of his own. He offered us a late checkout as cleaning was delayed by some hours on the day of our departure. Perfect location. Furniture is a creative mix of old and new, the bathroom was rather small but totally fine for us. We would return to this place and recommend it to others, if they (as we do) prioritize originality and local spirit over newness and perfection.

Charming room in a historical property in the center of Florence and full of local character is an absolute gem. Federico, the host, has been very welcoming and happy to recommend places to visit, eat and shop in Florence so his guests could make the most out of the holiday. An excellent stay! Relais Accademia is located just a 1-minute walk from the Galleria dell'Accademia and very close to other sites such as the Duomo and the Uffizi Gallery. The Firenze SM Novella train station is just a 15-minute walk away, so there is no need for a taxi. The room is incredibly spacious and well furnished with a modern bathroom. Federico, the manager, is very kind and kept in touch from booking to check out. I will recommend this B&B to anyone visiting Florence.

Gent. ma Doris, la ringrazio della recensione. Vorrei puntualizzare che ci sono le finestre insonorizzate oltre ai vecchi infissi (quindi doppie finestre!) Io stesso dormo in quel lato della struttura spesso e volentieri, certo è che si dorme con le finestre aperte, Essendo a due passi dal Duomo qualche rumore è inevitabile sentirlo!per quanto riguarda il rapporto qualità prezzo, una camera singola di 35 metri quadri, nel pieno centro di Firenze in altissima stagione a 70€ non credo sia facile da trovare!Spero comunque che vi siate trovate bene nonostante questo inconveniente!

Everything perfect but above all a stone's throw from the center! The structure is clean and well organized, thanks also to the manager who is a fantastic and helpful person. It will be our choice as soon as we return to Florence.

Everything very good: great location, comfort and soundproofing of the room, availability and kindness of the landlord who allowed us to keep the room until late afternoon. Definitely to recommend.

Phenomenal location, literally behind the Duomo square. The B&B is inside an ancient building in Florence, clean and spacious. Room with simple yet lovely decor, air conditioning, new bathroom, essential the double window that isolates the street noises. Extremely kind manager and ready to provide all the info we requested. Highly recommended, will definitely return.

The room was very clean and spacious. The small balcony opens directly into a very beautiful and quiet garden with lots of greenery. The landlord is very nice and helpful. I will gladly come back.

Strategic location 100 meters from the Duomo of Florence, on a not very busy street. Spacious, clean apartment. Accommodates 6 rooms with private bathroom. Breakfast not included. Excellent value for money. The manager is extraordinarily kind. Comfortable and quiet rooms, equipped with TV, AC, well-functioning wifi. Only advice: if you have special needs for shampoo and shower gel, bring them from home because there you will only find generic hand soap. Excellent. I will definitely come back.

Excellent solution for visiting the city. It is in the city center just a short walk from the Duomo. Welcoming structure and very helpful manager. I would return.
