Description

Pozzolone is a farm, encircled from 7 hectares of forest, turned into a family run Bad and Breakfast. Five are the rooms of which four with independent income and services with shower in room; they can accommodate from two to six persons, moreover one is equipped with baking corner. Stefania, Alessandro and the young Viola will be happy to accommodate you and will wait for you every morning inside their house for an abundant and genuine breakfast. Upon request will be prepared breakfasts also for coeliac, intolerants to the lactose, eggs and other foods. Stefania will be happy to put at disposition of your children its acquaintances (psycomotricist and educator of crèche and nursery school) making them playing and amusing with Viola whenever you like. Alessandro will be glad to accompany you to visit the greenhouses where he works and where they cultivate themselves basil and flowers. At your arrival you will be received from the joyful barks of our Lara. Our B&B is dipped in a full landscape of colours between the province of Siena and Grosseto. In less than 20 minutes it is possible to reach various fascinating villages like Radicondoli, Belforte and Montieri. In maximum one hour drive you will be able to visit important cities of art like Florence, Siena, San Gimignano, Volterra and popular sea localities like Punta Ala, Castiglione della Pescaia and Follonica

Alessandro, his wife and children are courteous. There is definitely heart in their life project. However, some things really need to be improved: the rooms are really too hot, the fan helps a little but it is noisy. There is no air conditioning by cultural choice, but this does not mean that guests should be so uncomfortable. They accept animals (dogs) since they have 5 of them as well. One of these has attacked my very good golden retriever twice. Moreover, they bark during the night and mine obviously responded, so between the heat and the dogs, the nights have been difficult.

La nostra struttura è circondata da bosco e c’è passaggio di animali selvatici che i nostri cani tengono distanti I nostri cani sono buonissimi ma le femmine avendo partorito da poco sono protettive è un po’ stressare L estate è stata calda per tutti in tutte le zone accertarsi della presenza o assenza dell aria condizionata solo mezz’ora prima del check-in pur avendo prenotato molto prima non è la cosa migliore a mio parere.

As always very pleasant. Friendly, caring operators. Not for 5-star pampered spa hotel vacationers. But very nice for people who want to spend a nice, relaxing holiday in nature.

Delightful place. It is an old country house renovated while staying true to its origins. The environment is welcoming, very well-kept and clean. The pool is very nice. The owners are very kind and helpful, it feels like being at home.

Nice place surrounded by nature, ideal for a relaxing vacation. Unfortunately, we needed it for work, so it was a bit far. However, a nice structure with good services.

Fabulous place! Alessandro, the manager, is a fantastic, helpful, and generous person. Our proseccos were unforgettable just like the evening at the Sagra di Travale! Welcoming us on our arrival were Alessandro's 3 dogs, Kora, Bob, and Clara, affectionate, well-behaved, and playful. It was love at first sight with our children (five kids aged between 8 and 15). Thank you so much for everything.

B&B run by an exceptional family, very hospitable and ready to solve any problem. Beautiful panoramic view. The only downside, in my opinion, is the distance from the village, 7 km, but if you want peace and silence it can be an advantage.

I had a great time, well received and immediately made to feel at home. Alessandro and Stefania informed me about every possible festival, event or other in the nearby places (from the famous 'Guaita di Travalè to the possibility of visiting the 'Radicondolìe central via), they even introduced me to a fellow bike lover like myself and took fantastic rides. And in the cool evening, a chat with Alessandro and a good Montalcino red wine. What can I say... Thank you Pozzolone.

It is a bit challenging to get there, but once you arrive it is a very pleasant surprise! A small corner of paradise in the heart of the woods. Maximum cleanliness, good breakfast, very pleasant the pool on hot days. The managers Stefania and Alessandro are very friendly, and the two German shepherds (Clara and Bobo) also provide punctual, enthusiastic, and measured company. Everything is very positive.
