Description

Family-run agricultural company developed on an entire hill in a picturesque typical Tuscan setting where the welcoming landscape, the centuries-old maritime pine, and the spectacular view of the Apuan Alps stand out.

The Podere La Piana farmhouse is the ideal place for families with children looking for a vacation in close contact with nature and our animals. The structure uses energy and hot water produced from renewable sources. Guests have access to a salt-treated 18x4 swimming pool and a tennis court.

For sea lovers, the nearest destinations, about 30 minutes by car, are the Cinque Terre, the surroundings of La Spezia with Lerici, Tellaro, Portovenere, and the Versilia with Viareggio, Forte dei Marmi, and Pietrasanta.

The most interesting historical sites, about 60 minutes by car, such as Lucca, Pisa, Florence, Siena, the Marble Quarries, and Genoa with its aquarium, can be easily reached by car or train.

The farmhouse offers various accommodation options to meet every need:
- Manor house or Farmhouse - On the ground floor, a large entrance with a wooden staircase, a large master kitchen, the dining room with a fireplace where breakfast is served, a lounge with a library and TV; on the upper floor, 2 double rooms in the Magnolia B&B with a balcony and a splendid view of the Apuan Alps, and Cipresso where a third bed can be added. Outside, a large equipped garden.

The location is very charming, rustic, in a small village immersed in greenery, very well maintained and clean, spacious rooms. The breakfast was much more generous than many hotels and everything was delicious from sweet to savory. In the area, there is no shortage of restaurants with typical dishes and pizzerias. Exceptional hospitality, really quiet and very clean place, you can really breathe an air of absolute tranquility. Owners are very kind and attentive to every need, top sympathy and hospitality. Very cozy and spotlessly clean rooms with every comfort. Genuine and abundant breakfast, always ready to meet customer needs. Beautiful pool... highly recommended... a real relaxation and fun for the little ones. We will definitely come back (thank you from the bottom of our hearts for satisfying the needs of my diabetic daughter... you are an exceptional family). Thank you Valentina, Donato and Camilla.

We stayed for two weeks in the apartment 'Olivè, with our two children of 7 and 4. We all had a wonderful time: in the pool, with the donkeys and the cow, in the play/game room, in the garden. Don't let the salt water of the pool scare you (you only taste it a little). We liked it much more than chlorine pools. The apartment was nice and cool, thanks to the shade of the upper balconies and the windows with fly screens. The garden was lovely to sit in. Busy insects, fragrant herbs, a magnificent view of the mountains... The surroundings also offer much. We went to the waterfall near Pognana. It's just a little waterfall, but it was nice to swim in the cold waters. We visited the caves and went to the river in Equi Terme, we hiked in the mountains. Portovenere we visited by ferry, Cinque Terre by train. I liked Portovenere more, because it was less crowded. Fivizzano and the supermarket/stores are a 10-minute drive away, and after some days you learn not to be scared of the narrow, twisting roads :) Viviana and Valeria are perfect hosts. They are very friendly and always ready to help if you have questions. Our kids loved them too! The last day we ordered breakfast and our kids could even make a request for pancakes and croissants. The buffet was plentiful and the croissants were really delicious! If you plan on coming to this area in Italy, we certainly recommend this accommodation!
