Description

Located in the Tuscan countryside, just a 10-minute drive from the magnificent Etruscan Coast and its main beaches, the Antico Podere al Fico B&B offers 3 air-conditioned rooms with reserved parking, free WiFi, and a fridge. You can make use of towels, bed linen, and a hairdryer during your stay.

You can spend pleasant moments of relaxation in the garden or in the Oliveta, where you can admire expanses of olive and vineyards and, in the distance, the sea with the Tuscan archipelago. On some days, if you are lucky, you can even see Corsica. If you like the outdoors, the area is also ideal for walking and cycling in the surroundings and on the hills.

The strategic location, in addition to the various seaside areas, will allow you to visit the main cities of art and magnificent villages in the hinterland. Bolgheri is 20 minutes away, Volterra 40 minutes, Livorno 30 minutes, Pisa 40 minutes, Lucca 50 minutes, Florence 1h30 minutes, and Siena 1h30 minutes.

The farmhouse is easily reached by car but can also be reached by public transport: a bus stop is located in front of the farmhouse for/from the Cecina station. The Cecina railway station is a 10-minute drive or a 20-minute bus ride away. The Pisa airport is 35 minutes by car or 1 hour by train from the Cecina station.

Good evening, we had a great time at Podere al Fico B&B. Tranquility and friendliness from all the owners, but especially Mrs. Giselle who is always available and pampers you with a breakfast with her fantastic sweets. Recommended for those who love tranquility and want to feel at home.

Fantastic B&B in the countryside of Cecina. The view from the room is spectacular, the spaces are clean and well-maintained. Beautiful B&B nestled among the olive trees, in a super quiet and relaxing location yet only 10 minutes from the sea. A beautiful surprise! The Podere al Fico B&B has been completely renovated: clean rooms, well-equipped with a spectacular view. Here you can find relaxation and freshness after a day at the sea, which is easily reachable in a few minutes by car. The breakfast is truly the best way to start the day, with savory and sweet delicacies prepared professionally and with passion by the hostess. I emphasize the care and special attention for those who, like in my case, have intolerances or allergies. Giselle made each day unique with a targeted breakfast: muffins, cakes, biscuits with gluten-free flours (rice, oats, buckwheat...), homemade jams, eggs from the farm's hens, rice milk... Heartfelt thanks to Giselle, Paolo, and their little treasure.

We chose Podere al Fico B&B for a weekend of tranquility and relaxation. The rooms and breakfast room are furnished with extreme attention to detail and very welcoming. The breakfast was excellent and the manager very kind and attentive to special needs. The favorable climate allowed us to also take advantage of the outdoor spaces. The proximity to the main roads allowed us to easily reach both the sea and locations inland.

Found by chance one day while I was searching on the internet. Contacted and immediately available to answer my questions according to my needs, I booked. Upon arriving at the property, I can confirm that I found a relaxing, new environment, well maintained both inside and in the pleasant green that surrounds it. I was immediately greeted with kindness and courtesy, cleanliness and hygiene are predominant and the green color that surrounds it makes the stay magical and relaxing. In the morning, you find a breakfast full of fresh and genuine homemade things and, from my personal experience, I can say that the surprise made to my daughter was a beautiful gesture that we will always remember with pleasure. One thing is for sure, I definitely recommend it.
