Description

In the heart of Florence, just around the corner from Railway Station S. M. Novella, and only a few minutes of pleasant walking from all the wonderful artistic sites of the city. Old Florence Inn offers its guests the evocative atmosphere of an ancient, elegantly furnished Florentine house, together with all the comforts of your home. Art and dècor can blend together to give pleasant and relaxing results.

All of our rooms are equipped with private bathroom into, television SAT, telephone, free wi-fi, hair dryer, safe box (set your own combination), mini bar, air conditioning or heating, breakfast is included by a tray of continental breakfast in bedroom ready self service for every morning. Rooms are equipped with double-paned windows for soundproofing to ensure you have a good night’s sleep. We are conveniently located a few doors down from a supermarket, numerous cafes and a lot of restaurants and a McDonald’s open 24/24. Relax or read in our living room with a view of Santa Maria Novella Cathedral and take advantage of our complimentary coffees.

For the car with a extra charge there is a garage partner at just 200 meter.

Good location and the property is very clean and comfortable. We spent 4 nights at the property. There are laundry machines very close. Breakfast is left in the room, and I think it is sufficient.

I checked in and looked at the bathroom, and there were a lot of ants. The shower booth door was also rattling, and it didn't open and close well. The location is good.

Good value. Great location close to rail station and old city. Great sound insulation, completely quiet. Good AC. Breakfast was only a prepared tray in the room with a sandwich, coffee and yoghurt. However regarding the price you shouldn't expect a fancy breakfast. Strongly recommended.

Florio and Elisa are kind and very collaborative hosts, they understand the needs of the customers and know how to help them. The structure of the B&B is located in a well-maintained historic building, quiet despite the central position, practically just outside the SMN station. We will definitely return.

Beautifully appointed room with old world charm, excellent location near the main train station and supermarket with a lovely host. My only concern was the accommodation was up two flights of stairs and the lift was an old style single person which my husband was happy to use but I was not. If you have heavy bags which you do not want to drag up the stairs I suggest you find somewhere more suitable.

This bed and breakfast went far beyond my expectations. It is in a great location, maybe a five-minute walk from the train station. It is so convenient to all the major sites. Christina was our host at the front desk and she took care of many details for us. Could not have asked for a nicer and more competent individual. This has definitely become my number one place to stay in Florence.

It was nice to have a big supermarket right next to the Old Florence Inn, which was within walking distance of all the main places from Florence. The host is stylish and the accommodation is always clean. Everything I needed was in the hotel. A hotel that was very satisfying. If I go to Florence next time, I really want to stay again. Thanks.

Had a great stay at Old Florence Inn. The location near the train station and Central Market with easy walks further into the city were fantastic. I would stay here again. The rooms are smaller, which is common with European lodging. The inside is rustic, but very clean and had all of the amenities we needed. We were thankful the Inn allowed us to store our luggage for a few hours before our departure and the host was very kind. The Inn is located 2 levels up in a building with other B&Bs.

The Old Florence Inn has the best location to visit Florence, between the train station S. M. Novella and the historic center. The room is spacious, quiet and well decorated. One of the mattresses in our room should be changed because it was noticeable that it had been used a lot. The breakfast is good. \nFlorio served us wonderfully and gave us recommendations on what we asked him.
