Description

Marinetta Bed and Breakfast. just opened and graceful furnished, is in Signa, in excellent position to reach quickly Florence and the others beautiful artistic towns of Tuscany.

You can reach the centre of Florence (leaving your car in our private parking) by train in 10 minutes or with the city bus in 25/30 minutes. We can offer different arrangements: finely and confortable furnished single and double bed room with private bath with shower, air conditioning and satellite TV, indipendent suite with private kitchen.

At complete disposal of our guest, guide-books for trips for every requirements: history, culture, beauties of nature, gastronomy, enology and sports. You can visit Pisa too, Siena, and the beautiful hills of Chianti area, the Versilia sandy beaches, who have at their back the famous marble quarry.

You can reach these places in one hour for the favourable road and railway connections.

In 20 minutes there are Prato, Montelupo Fiorentino, well-known for the museum of Archeology and Ceramics, Vinci Leonardo's home town, Carmignano, for Pontormo's painting.

ln Signa is possible to do interesting visit at some churches. tabernacles, the towers and the rest of the medieval castle, the museum dedicated at
the economic history of the straw and the famous fiorentino straw-hat, born in Signa, and famous all over the world. For the sportsmens, at 300 meters, we suggest "Stato Libero dei Renai", 70 hectares of lakes, little isles, cycle track (you can reach Florence), equipement for all the sports.

Good evening. We stayed at B&B La Marinetta booking two triple rooms and one double room, and we had a great time! The rooms were very clean and welcoming, with all the necessary comforts. Upon arrival, we were greeted with great kindness and availability: we were immediately offered a coffee, a gesture truly appreciated after the trip. The breakfast was abundant and of high quality, with fresh and varied products. The convenient parking is another plus, especially for those traveling with multiple cars. One gesture that touched us greatly was the thoughtfulness towards our daughter: at the time of departure, she was given a backpack as a souvenir, a courtesy that says a lot about the attention and care towards the guests. Thank you very much for the hospitality, we will definitely return.

We understand that in Italy people eat for breakfast.. but we prefer yogurt, muesli, fruit, and eggs. Also, in the description, it says there is a distance of 10 minutes to Florence, but that is not real.

Perfect! The structure is lovely, quiet, very clean, and well positioned. The breakfast is excellent, there is everything and more, and even the night before, you can smell the aroma of freshly baked cakes, different and exquisite every day. But I must say that the best part is the couple of managers! They are uniquely kind and helpful and very funny. We had a lot of pleasant chats and laughs. It felt like being at home (even better, in fact). Thank you for everything and see you soon!

We enjoyed our stay. We were made very welcome upon arrival and shown our large, secure and comfortable bedroom. The mattress was especially comfortable. The room was quiet at night and the only feature lacking we felt was an in room security safe. Paula and her husband were very helpful and kind, we successfully followed several of the suggestions they took the time to recommend to us. Highly recommend if the location suits your needs.

Renovated and well-maintained B&B; the friendliness and sympathy of the managers Paola & Paolo are certainly not lacking. A good breakfast with excellent homemade cakes. Recommended for those who want to go to Florence without using the car. Cristiano and Monica.

The facility would lack a bit of green space, but nothing essential is missing. The rest compensates for the kindness and availability of the owners, very nice people, I would like to host them at my home as well. I would recommend using the train and leaving the car in a large free parking lot near the station, and paying attention to the train stops, because some pass through Lastra a Signa and not Signa. I would not recommend going to the station on foot (about 2 km). The breakfast is not international, but Italian and abundant. I wish everyone a good stay at Marinetta.
