Stay with us and explore the unique beauty of the Maremma district’s Gulf of Follonica that overlooks the Island of Elba. This beautiful area is full of unmissable attractions. We are blessed with miles of sandy beaches, some with fully equipped bathing establishments, others with free access and then there are the breathtaking coves like Cala Martina and Cala Violina.
The gulf is the perfect destination for anyone wanting a holiday by the sea but also has so much more to offer – like good food, plenty of history, archaeological sites, nature reserves and water parks, not forgetting that other amazing places of interest like Pisa, Siena and Florence also make for unforgettable day trips, as do Tuscany’s wonderful old small towns and villages like San Gimignano and Volterra to the north or Montepulicano, Pienza and Montalcino to the south.
Our B&B provides you with a comfortable base not far from the sea (just 300m) or the pedestrian area of Follonica (only 100m) and is located in a neighbourhood that has plenty to offer including a wide choice of restaurants and bars.
Choose from a bedroom with private bathroom or a two-roomed apartment with a double bedroom, a lounge with a kitchen corner and a bathroom.
We also have a roof garden with a heated Jacuzzi and an infra-red sauna. We also have mountain bikes available so that guests can roam the town at will or head for the beach without having to start the car!
Last but not least, we want to point out how important it is to us that you are comfortable during your stay: the renovation work on the old building in which we are based was done with energy saving and sound proofing in mind. The exterior walls have a thermal cladding whilst the interior walls are soundproofed and the roof has a full 15 cm of insulation. All this because we firmly believe that our guests should be able to spend their holidays in a place that feels like home; somewhere that has been finished to a high standard and where they can have a relaxing, fulfilling and enjoyable time.
We have also worked hard to make our place meet the needs of those who are away from home on business. It’s one of the reasons that we don’t ask for a time of arrival. Check-in is always a DIY affair for all our guests; it means everyone is free to arrive at any time after 2 pm and make their way to their accommodation without any delays or problems.

I must say that the structure is perfect for those traveling by train, comfortable with every comfort, perfect cleanliness and very friendly staff. If a bad day were to happen, the structure offers (albeit small, a 'pool' on the roof), a room with a sauna and a room with some equipment for physical exercise. The only flaw perhaps is the price a bit too high. One night for two 140€. Only for one night and breakfast. They offer the possibility of luggage storage after check out in case you want to go to the beach even on the last day.

Ho soggiornato nella camera Superior. Molto bella e curata nei minimi dettagli, l'unica pecca sono i due materassi uniti a formare un matrimoniale. La struttura è nuovissima e dotata di un bellissimo rooftop con la jacuzzi, poi una sauna al 2 piano e 4 bici a disposizione degli ospiti. La posizione è ottima, il B&B si trova vicinissimo alla stazione e al mare. La colazione buona anche se potrebbe includere le brioche. Consiglio anche per la gentilezza di Antonella.

Struttura molto carina e da poco rinnovata, arredi moderni e ambientazione rilassante. Non c'è l'ascensore, e purtroppo se non lo si chiede in fase di prenotazione, non si viene informati. Allo stesso modo non si viene informati del fatto che alcune camere confinano con la cucina e sono vicinissime alla sala colazioni: questa è una vera pecca perché il chiacchiericcio di chi prepara la colazione prima delle 8 del mattino e degli altri avventori del B&B che (ahimè) urlano incuranti del fatto che ci siano altre stanze attorno a loro, unito al rumore di piatti e stoviglie varie non è affatto piacevole. Ci è stato detto che verrà aggiunta una porta per isolare di più le stanze al secondo piano dalla sala colazioni in modo da poter ovviare al problema rumore, ma tant'è: per chi è stato in vacanza lì quest'anno, il disagio c'è stato!
Un ottimo servizio gratuito che la struttura offre è quello delle biciclette che sono a disposizione degli ospiti. Purtroppo sono soltanto 4, un pò pochine soprattutto nel mese di agosto quando le camere sono tutte occupate.
Per quanto riguarda la colazione, avendo soggiornato 10 giorni, possiamo dire che sia di qualità, anche se non c'è molta varietà e l'"angolo salato" è veramente minimo se non inesistente in alcuni giorni. Non c'è mai stato nemmeno un biscotto e/o un croissant. Sicuramente da quel punto di vista si può fare di più!
Ottima l'idea della sauna a disposizione dei clienti e del roof garden, un giardino sul tetto con vasca idromassaggio molto carino!

Che dire? Personalmente mai più ma non per la struttura. Per la sete di denaro che probabilmente in questi posti possiedono. Sono dovuta andare via due notti prima per motivi legati tra L altro alla salute di mio padre. Hanno pensato bene di presentarmi un conto con tutte le notti, comprensivo della tassa di soggiorno e del cane (che non avrebbe soggiornato) perché come me sarebbe venuto via. Non ho discusso ho pagato ma non parlo bene di questo atteggiamento. Avrei pagato tranquillamente una notte. Ma la seconda e veramente ridicolo. Io per 100€ avrei preferito un cliente che tornava e parlava bene di me ma la sete di far soldi estivi per campare d'invero e davvero troppo alta.
