"Locanda il Fornello", an old B&B at the foot of the hills of Montecarlo (LU).
We are at the foot of a gentle land made ??of vines, olive trees and work. Built for the farmers, surrounded by land that run aligned worked, albeit distant, by rail, the system of the house is traditional and simple dating largely to the 50.
Situated in a strategic position near Lucca, Pisa, Pistoia, Florence and the sea, few kmfrom the motorway which allows you to quickly reach a large part of the whole Tuscany. Tranquility and simplicity are the key words for Locanda Il Fornello. Our room was simple, pleasant and without frills, with a view of the vineyards. The only criticism to make is the very small size of our bathroom. The breakfast partly homemade (jams and cakes) is served on the terrace under the pine trees. The pool is clean. Not huge but more than enough to cool off. The establishment is run by a smiling and helpful couple. Chiara's advice was very useful to us. The Locanda is well located for visits. We had a pleasant stay here.
