Description

Staying in the city… in a small guest house in the historical center of Pistoia, with more than two millenia, centrally located between Firenze, Pisa, Lucca, making theese cities of art easily reachable. An alternative for whoever wants to visit Tuscany and its surroundings, visiting its countryside and its historical cities.

An antique building in front of the 18th-century Manzoni theatre. The ambience offers frescos, old stone walls, wooden ceilings together with design objects and also “lo studio” of the owner. Books, magazines and a work place to share with guests.

A lighted fireplace for the coldest days and, overlooking the roofs of the city, a small terrace with a view of the Cathedral’s bell tower and the 16th-century dome of the Madonna dell’Umiltà, where guests can enjoy a sunny breakfast amidst roses and succulents.

The B&B was renovated in 2010. A new double room with private bathroom was renovated in april 2011.

The B&B offers free to its guests: set-up for tea and coffee durung the day, internet connection, fax, photocopier, store luggage reserve tickets for museums, the theatre, arrange transfers to and from the station
Organizes day trips to the cities of art (Florence, Pisa, Lucca…), and an English-speaking guide is also available

Near the station and the main lines of urban and extraurban transport, the guest house is easily accessible to whoever arrives in the city with his own car, even if located in the center of the city, thanks to nearby parking.
In a short time, you can arrive to the cities of art like Firenze, as well as Pisa and Siena.
And whoever would like to get to know the world famous countryside and hills of Tuscany, can visit the small village rich with history and tradition like Vinci, Chianti as well as visit the snowy mountains of Abetone or the beaches of Viareggio and Forte dei Marmi. And then, there are Pietrasanta, the Apuan Alps, the spa of Montecatini Terme.
And also the nearby zoo of Pistoia, the largest in Italy, and Pinocchio Park.
Not to mention even for those who want to stay in the city, there is the undiscovered fascination of this Commune from 1105 A.D. Its monuments, the city’s open-air markets and trattorias, and the environmental art collection at the Fattoria di Celle.
Frequent lines railway and bus connect Pistoia with Firenze, Lucca and Siena.

To choose it, the kindness, cordiality, and cheerfulness of the owner would be enough. The structure is located in the historic center, the rooms are beautiful, welcoming, and very clean. Definitely recommended.

What can I say, more than excellent. Congratulations to Cristina for the whole management of the B&B, from the directions to reach the structure to those for parking the car, from the welcome upon our arrival, to the breakfast on the day of our departure. This is how you 'pamper' a customer without that intrusiveness that sometimes causes discomfort. Thanks again for the stay, and for the flowers.

We had a wonderful stay at this bed and breakfast located in the historic center of Pistoia in a splendid historic building that has been beautifully renovated. Nearby there are some great restaurants and cafes and many shops for shopping; the train station is ten minutes away. Despite its central location, it is quiet in the accommodation. A parking permit (which is absolutely necessary) is provided by the B&B. The pension manager is very kind and always eager to ensure guests have an unforgettable stay. She is available for any questions and concerns. The rooms are lovingly furnished, totally clean, nothing is missing. The breakfast in the morning is prepared in an appealing and very tasty way. The B&B overall radiates a great atmosphere. We recommend this accommodation to everyone.

Central location, excellent for visiting the entire historic center. Everything is perfectly cared for with taste and passion: from the rooms to the breakfast. Immaculate environment. A compliment to Cristina, the owner, who discreetly makes you feel at home. It is a pity not to have been able to stay in the frescoed room, because it was already occupied; otherwise, the rating would have been 10 and praise.
