In the heart of the Tuscan Maremma, surrounded by a natural environment of extraordinary archaeological value and a still wild appearance, lies the B&B Le Torrette Etrusche. This renovated farmhouse has maintained its typical Maremman appearance and is surrounded by dense vegetation, typical of the Mediterranean scrub. It offers guests four rooms with a private bathroom equipped with a shower and a window. It is the perfect place to spend a vacation in peace, silence and nature.
Guests can enjoy breakfast served in the gazebo by the friendly host, as the management of the B&B is completely family-run. Le Torrette Etrusche boasts a strategic position with respect to the most interesting places in the area.
Just 2 km away are the beaches of Ansedonia, the Etruscan settlement of Tagliata Etrusca, and the Feniglia, a strip of land that connects Ansedonia to Argentario, with a magnificent protected oasis pinewood behind it, inhabited by deer and roe deer, running parallel to the beach, which is 6 km long with various access points to the sea. Just 3 km away is Playa De La Torba, also known as the Caribbean of Maremma.
Other places of interest within easy reach are the medieval village of Capalbio (10 km), Orbetello, an elegant town on the homonymous lagoon (6 km), Argentario, then Porto Ercole (10 km) and Porto Santo Stefano with the embarkation for the islands of Giglio and Giannutri (18 km), the Maremma Park (20 km), the Tarot Garden (15 km), the Saturnia Thermal Baths, and then Pitigliano, Sorano and Sovana (50 km).

For a great start to your day, I believe that breakfast is the most important meal. That's why I offer my guests a delicious cake made with simple and natural ingredients, and with low fat content.
If you prefer something else, we also provide yogurt, bread, butter, fresh ricotta cheese from a nearby farm, and Tuscan salami from selected Coldiretti farms with the "Campagna Amica" label.
Each table is set with a variety of fruit juices, fresh fruits, different types of jam and biscuits.
If you are planning to stay with us for at least 2 weeks and prefer to have a comfortable equipped kitchen instead of daily cleaning and breakfast, please ask for more information. This is a convenient option for families.

We were gifted this ten-day stay at Le Torrette Etrusche, a very charming property immersed in the greenery of olive trees and Maremma hills. It is a quiet and very welcoming place with Mrs. Olimpia, always kind and caring in giving advice on places to visit. Every morning, abundant breakfasts with delicious cakes, different every day, made by Mrs. Olimpia with fresh fruit and zero km jams. The room is spotlessly clean and impeccable, the linen change is truly a beautiful experience. A big thank you to Mrs. Olimpia and a hug from Mario and Luisa. A caress to Rocco, the majestic Saint Bernard.

Olimpia, landlady, kind attentive and discreet. Caring towards the needs of the guests, from giving the best directions to navigate the area, to those concerning the best way to feel comfortable in the structure. House immersed in greenery, comfortable and decent. Movements in the area are easy given the location with immediate exit from the Aurelia. Super breakfast. Highly recommended.

Amidst the green countryside, among olive trees and prickly pears, a few kilometers from volcanic sandy beaches, a corner of peace with a familiar treatment that, thanks to the delicious cuddles at breakfast from Mrs. Olimpia, we would gladly return to, even immediately! We had reserved for 1 week at Le Torrette Etrusche, but unfortunately this accommodation is too close to the heavily trafficked Aurelia, where it is noisy at night and this echoes to the hotel. And in the room, it was almost unbearable due to the heat. The owner Olympia seemed overwhelmed, we were not allowed to close the shutters when we wanted and breakfast leaves something to be desired. So we changed hotel, as the location was also difficult.

Gent. ma Karin, ha prenotato senza informarsi come da messaggi scambiati su questo portale come se conoscesse già il posto. Al suo arrivo, domenica 3 Luglio alle 9,30 ci siamo subito messi a sua completa disposizione. Eravamo ignari del fatto che era sprovvista di un mezzo per spostarsi. Ha chiesto di essere accompagnata presso il noleggio biciclette della spiaggia di Feniglia, abbiamo quindi trasportato due biciclette in macchina (una per volta) fino al B&B. Nel primo pomeriggio ha chiesto di essere accompagnata alla stazione a prendere sua figlia che arrivava da Roma. Nella stessa giornata si è resa conto di non essere in grado di andare in bicicletta neanche al mare. Aveva già prenotato le biciclette elettriche, disponibili dal martedì alla domenica successiva. Il giorno successivo ha espresso la volontà di andare via, le sono stati restituiti i soldi del restante soggiorno. Sia noi che il noleggiatore abbiamo solo rimesso: noi siamo rimasti con la camera vuota e lui ha dovuto procurarsi un furgone per venire a riprendere le bici e, all'ultimo momento, non ha potuto noleggiare a nessuno le bici elettriche da lei prenotate. Tutti i ns ospiti sono consapevoli della struttura e della camera che troveranno, della distanza dalle spiagge e dal centro abitato. Ci dispiace che non abbia trovato ciò che aveva immaginato anche se la descrizione della camera viene sempre scritta a tutti nel dettaglio e quindi anche a lei, i messaggi sono ancora memorizzati. Concludo: ha inserito 2 per la colazione perché si aspettava il buffet, non si capisce dove lo ha letto. 3 sulla qualità/prezzo, se i suoi standard sono alti, solo l'albergo può soddisfare le sue aspettative. 3 sul gestore, penso che più disponibili di così sia impossibile. 4 sulla posizione, ci troviamo a 2,5 km dalle spiagge di Ansedonia, 8 km da Orbetello centro, 12 km dal borgo medievale di Capalbio e 5 km dalla stazione ferroviaria. 5 sulla pulizia, non so quale sia il problema, non ha fatto notare niente al momento, lenzuola ed asciugamani di cotone bianco. 1 sulla struttura, è un casale tipico maremmano completamente ristrutturato inserito in un parco archeologico con tanto di sito web a riprova.

We stayed at Le Torrette Etrusche from 04/09 - 11/09 and I must say that the place is really beautiful, well-maintained, and surrounded by greenery. The room is spacious, very clean but in general the whole structure is very well-kept. Mrs. Olimpia was fantastic and made us feel at home... especially spoiled us with her delicious cakes. If we were to return to Maremma one day, Le Torrette Etrusche will definitely be our first choice. Highly recommended.

Abbiamo soggiornato una settimana presso la struttura, ci siamo trovati molto bene. La posizione é strategica. La signora Olimpia é sempre stata molto disponibile e gentile, ci ha coccolato con ottime colazioni composte da torte e marmellate ogni giorno diverse prodotte da lei e prodotti locali. Lo consiglio vivamente.

Abbiamo soggiornato presso questa struttura per una settimana, Olimpia è una persona molto disponibile e cordiale. Il B&B è in una posizione strategica poiché è vicino ai maggiori punti di interesse, inoltre è immerso nel verde quindi permette di trascorrere il tempo in totale relax. Sicuramente ci torneremo.

We needed accommodation for 7 nights and so rented part of the house rather than stay for bed & breakfast in a room only. The two bedroom house which had traditional furniture & fittings, was not very modern but was very clean and comfortable with ample space. It reminded me of staying at my mother's house.
There is no pool but there is a large terrace and lovely garden with lawn & pomegranate trees and the area is very peaceful.
This house is convenient for the SS1 main highway. Orbetello & Argentario are easy to reach by car - 10-20 mins.
What made our stay here exceptional was the warm welcome we received from Olympia & her family. We do not speak Italian but whenever we asked for help or advice Olympia went out of her way to accommodate us. If we had not needed to be in Pisa on 1st October, then we would certainly have extended our stay at Le Torrette Etrusche.

La struttura è molto bella, in una posizione comodissima, nella quiete della campagna, ma vicinissima al mare e alle vie di comunicazione per l'interno. Ottima la gestione, l'accoglienza, la disponibilità e le pulizie quotidiane. Colazioni deliziose, con torta casalinga diversa ogni giorno, marmellate genuine e ricotta di Manciano. Ci siamo sentiti coccolati e iniziavamo la giornata di ottimo umore. Ci torneremo senz'altro.

Fantastico questo angolo di antica maremma, forse anche per le suggestioni di infanzia che evoca in me. La stradina sterrata che porta al B&B, costeggiata dal muro con le torrette, è di quelle ormai scomparse, che sopravvivono nei miei ricordi. Sono tornata anche quest'anno perchè è proprio un bel posto. La struttura, ricavata in un autentico casale, è circondata da un prato verde di erba soffice con alberi, arbusti e tanti vasi di fiori tra cui spiccano i gerani ed è immersa nella campagna tenuta a coltivazioni varie. La distanza (quasi un km) dall'Aurelia consente di non avere troppo disturbo dai rumori stradali, e per chi vive in città è già molto. Le camere sono accoglienti, pulitissime, dotate di mura solide, con il ventilatore-lampadario a pale che fa tanto anni 50 e le finestre munite di zanzariere, per cui si può dormire tranquillamente senza ritrovarsi con i ponfi la mattina. Le colazioni nel gazebo all'aperto sono semplicemente deliziose: torte fatte in casa, ogni giorno diverse, volendo esagerare un ghiotto l'anziano locale, marmellate "della nonna", ricotta dei pastori dei dintorni, frutta di stagione, accompagnate da un "cappuccione" magnifico che fa solo lei, Olimpia, la padrona di casa, una presenza accogliente, sollecita e discreta. Grazie per l'ospitalità delle migliori che abbiamo mai sperimentato.

Il B&B è in posizione strategica per visitare i luoghi nei dintorni e per andare al bellissimo mare dell'Argentario; nonostante la vicinanza alla S. S. Aurelia, la pace ed il silenzio regnano sovrani. Le persone che si prendono cura della struttura sono splendide, le colazioni a dir poco spettacolari. Tutto veramente bello. Un luogo che ti rimane nel cuore e che ti fa venir voglia di tornare.
