Fresh Pastry Croissants (no frozen!), Jam and Nutella, Yogurt (fruit/white), Cornflakes, Muesli, Butter, Honey, Toasted Bread (white or wholemeal), Italian Espresso Coffee, American Coffee, Caffellatte, Cappuccino, Hot Chocolate, Pancakes with Maple Syrup, Fresh Seasonal Fruit, Orange Juice (yellow or red), Pineapple Juice, Green Apple Juice..and more Eggs (hard-boiled, scrambled or fried) Ham, Salami and Cheese.
And if you are allergic/intolerant to gluten or lactose, if you are vegetarian/vegan or you need a special food just ask in advance (before your arrival) and we will do our best to fulfil your requests.. !

The bed and breakfast "Locandiera" is located in Via della Scala 48, inside the old walls of Florence, walking distance from the station of Santa Maria Novella and in the immediate vicinity of the exhibition centre Fortezza da Basso and Palacongressi. In a few minutes can be reached on foot the major points of city interest, as Piazza Santa Maria Novella and the Duomo, Piazza della Signoria, the Galleria degli Uffizi and the Ponte Vecchio, besides of course the most important streets dedicated to shopping.

I only rated the property lower than 10 because the area isn't the best. But that's Florence by the train station. I took a chance because it's a fairly short walk to the rental car location, and we only there 1 night. Our host, Silvia, was 1 of the most pleasant people I've ever met. The room was spotless and breakfast in the room was nice. There is laundry right next door. 5e to wash and 5e to dry. Bottom line, if we come back to Florence, we will stay here without hesitation. And hopefully Silvia will still be here.

The structure 'La Locandiera' is very close to the train station and within walking distance to major tourist attractions. Breakfasts are very good, with delicious warm croissants, meats, cheeses, yogurts, and fruits. The shower stall was small. Our host Silvia arranged for the car transfer from the airport and allowed us to leave our luggage after check-out a few hours before we needed to catch the train.

We had a wonderful vacation. I highly recommend La Locandiera for the availability and kindness of Silvia, the owner, always ready to fulfill customers' requests, even with food intolerances, and especially for the strategic location a few steps from the central station and the city center. Excellent and healthy breakfast in the room.

I spent a weekend of work and pleasure with my daughter, I recommend this Bed-And-Breakfast for several reasons: 1) the structure is in a strategic position, very close to the station, close to the Fortezza, close to the center. 2) new structure with simple and refined furniture. 3) excellent quality-price ratio. 4) Kindness, friendliness, and availability of Silvia, the hostess. Everything very clean and fragrant, La Locandiera is managed by a very kind lady. The rooms are spacious, with high ceilings and well-structured. Breakfast served in the room with Teutonic punctuality and a wide selection. We had a great time and definitely recommend it.

Delightful Bed and Breakfast, located just a few meters from the Florence Station and the city center.\n\nThe owner will make you feel immediately at ease, she is very kind and helpful. We highly recommend La Locandiera! The room was spacious for 3 people, we were given a menu for breakfast and given the option to choose the time we would like it served, it was very fresh, it was excellent! Very close to the train station and a nice walk to everything. A huge thank you to Silvia, she was so helpful, spoke very good English. A very kind person! She will go the extra mile to help you as much as she can. We will definitely go back!

Arriving at the station alone and reaching La Locandiera in a few minutes, immediately finding someone waiting for me who welcomed me showing the room, equipped with all the comforts that had been described to me, was reassuring. The room with bathroom, sky, wifi, kettle was so comfortable that it was a pleasure to come back in the evening after a long day of walking. Even the breakfast and the time that I was given the opportunity to choose the night before, was brought to my room very kindly and always punctually. The owner was available for anything, provided me with a map also indicating the streets to take to reach the tourist attractions; I always moved on foot without needing to use public transport because La Locandiera is just a few steps from the church "Santa Maria Novella".
