Locanda dell'Accademia is a nice and welcoming Guesthouse, composed of two bedrooms, a living room, a kitchen and two bathrooms. Run by a young couple, it is located in a historic building dating back to the 1400s in the center of Florence. Its location is ideal for an unforgettable stay in Florence.

We are in a neighborhood convenient for the proximity to the main monuments, between the Duomo and the Museo dell'Accademia. In an area full of restaurants and small bars that you will love.
We are next to the Central Market and various supermarkets, if you want to have dinner at home.
I will tell you everything as soon as you arrive home!;)

A ride around
The best way to get to know Florence is wandering the streets on foot, but for those who want to we are almost at the corner with PIAZZA SAN MARCO, one of the hubs of all the buses in the city.
We live in a corner with the Piazza which is also the terminus of the bus that leads to Fiesole and Settignano

Very well-maintained structure down to the smallest details, extremely helpful manager in accommodating unexpected needs as well. Perfect location for tourists visiting this beautiful city. Recommended and we will return.

Highly recommended. The house is equipped with small conveniences, such as coffee, sugar, napkins, hygiene products, useful when traveling for a few days and wanting to have a light luggage. The only warning is that there are two flights of stairs quite steep.

Large, bright room and what I liked most was the bed because the mattress is comfortable. For me fundamental. I took a room with a private bathroom, the only flaw is that the bathroom is not inside the room. Federica was very kind, all in all good.

This was great value, but there were a few negatives. The mattress was too soft and a bit uncomfortable. Also it was very hot when I stayed so I had to keep the window open at night, but as there are mosquitoes I had to then burn mosquito coils. I think mosquitoes are likely a problem in this whole part of Florence, as there were so many different mosquito repellents in the shops. But it would have been nice to get a warning about the mosquitoes, or have something provided in case you are caught unawares and the shops are closed. Another thing to be aware of is that the street outside gets very noisy during the day due to the line of people queuing up for the Accademia. Also there are buskers playing outside to take advantage of the queue. Not an issue if you are going to be out all day though. Generally everything was fine and as promised, and the location was safe and convenient.

A nice place in the very heart of Florence. Very good value for money! Some stuff for breakfast is provided even if it is not a B&B.

This place was perfect for our 4-day stay in Florence! It is right across the street from the Accademia and about a 7-minute walk from the Duomo and the city center. Perfect location! The hosts were always so quick to respond to questions and had everything ready for us when we arrived. The ONLY downside was that you have to walk up 3 flights to the apartment. It made it a little difficult with luggage and tiring after walking all day. But other than that, it was perfect!

Sonia welcomed us upon our arrival, offering to help with our luggage (there are 3 flights of stairs) and was available to deliver the room even before the expected time.\n\nSuper kind, fantastic location in front of the galleries of the Academy!\nSpacious room (there were 4 of us) with high ceilings, the room was a bit cool, but probably also due to an unexpected change in temperature.\n\nThe kitchen available was equipped with everything needed, both for breakfast (cereals, cookies, tea, coffee) and for a home-cooked dinner.\n\nThank you!\nWe will do great advertising, in fact, already done!\nSee you soon!

Impeccable location practically in the center very close to all the main attractions of Florence. Spacious and clean room! Federica was very kind from the beginning and the colleague Sonia just as much in saying goodbye. If I were to return to Florence, I would definitely go back to the Locanda dell'Accademia.

If you want a well priced, fairly simple place to stay in a good location opposite the Accademia then this is for you! There are 6 flights of stairs up to the apartment which has 3 rooms, 2 bathrooms and a small kitchen area with a washing machine. Federica, the owner, was very helpful and friendly.

Compromesso perfetto per una mini vacanza! Qualità-prezzo eccellente e proprietaria super disponibile ed alla mano. Essendo una studentessa-lavoratrice ho trovato in questa soluzione l’accordo perfetto tra i miei bisogni e i miei comfort. Insomma, mi sono trovata benissimo! A pochi passi da qualsiasi cosa.. ottimo! Ha reso la mia esperienza a Firenze ancora più perfetta. Nessun difetto da rimarcare! Proprietaria disponibilissima anche per i bagagli, che siamo riuscite a tenere in casa fino a poco prima di partire! TOP!
