Description
The "Fornace del Sole" gets its name from the ancient pottery and porcelain furnace from the early 1900s facing the villa. Recently renovated, the villa consists of: 4 rooms with bathrooms, a breakfast room, a common area with TV and fireplace, two comfortable porches, and a large garden to enjoy sunny days. A convenient private parking for cars, motorcycles, or bicycles completes the structure.
The "Fornace del Sole" is located in a strategic position: Lucca can be reached in just a few minutes, the beaches of Versilia in 20 minutes, the Garfagnana mountains in 40 minutes, while Pisa, Florence, or Siena are easily accessible for day trips.
Thanks to its location, the "Fornace del Sole" is the perfect place for a few days of vacation or a peaceful oasis for an overnight stay at the end of a workday.
Our spacious rooms, all located on the first floor, are tastefully furnished and equipped with a 32" LCD TV, heating, air conditioning, and a hairdryer, while Wi-Fi is available throughout the house. A crib is available upon request.
The "Master" room, furnished with antique style furniture, is enriched by a large window with a characteristic arch, the bathroom features both a whirlpool tub and a shower cabin.
The "Grandma's" room, finished with authentic early 1900s furniture, is very bright thanks to its 2 windows overlooking the entire garden.
The other two attic rooms are embellished with exposed wooden beams and rafters and furnished with more modern furniture, their windows offer a view of the Lucca hills.
The breakfast, sweet and savory, consists of local, fresh, and quality products served buffet-style.
Pets are welcome.
Check-in is possible from 2: 30 pm to 6: 00 pm.

I am a university student, a big fan of traveling, music, and figure skating, which I have been practicing for over 10 years.

La posizione della casa è piuttosto centrale rispetto a molti luoghi visitabili in meno di 40 minuti di auto, e a meno di 10 km da Lucca, se per lei è risultata scomoda ce ne dispiace, ma non possiamo veramente farci niente. Avremmo avuto piacere di sapere di più circa il suo scontento sulla camera, per altro la più grande e più bella che abbiamo, che dispone di letto king size, armadio a 2 ante, 2 finestre affacciate sul giardino, aria condizionata, tv, bollitore con thè e tisane a disposizione, bagno privato con vasca idromassaggio e doccia, asciugacapelli, prodotti di cortesia, per capire cosa potremmo migliorare per renderla più comoda. Beautifully renovated farmhouse, practically new. Great location, close to the main communication route but at the same time quiet as it faces a large lawn that ensures a peaceful silence at night. The room we stayed in is very spacious and furnished with high-quality wooden furniture. Huge bathroom with shower and whirlpool tub. Clothes hangers with ironing board. The lighting could be improved, as the bedside lamps are beautiful but inconvenient; trying to turn them on risks knocking them over. Good breakfast, complete with a bit of everything. Special mention to the lady who welcomed us and is always present, doing everything to make you feel at home. Recommended.

Everything perfect, the place exudes serenity just by looking out the window. I spent half an hour staring at the garden while having breakfast. Spacious rooms, comfortable, large bathroom, tranquility and cleanliness. I will definitely come back if I am in the area out of necessity. Small criticism, but tiny, for constructive spirit, is that with all that greenery there are many mosquitoes, so mosquito nets or a device in the room to keep them away would be a magnificent plus as a service at this time. Otherwise absolutely impeccable for kindness and service. Recommended.

The structure is new, clean, welcoming, tastefully renovated. The location allows you to reach the city center in a few minutes, to be immersed in nature, to enjoy the sounds of a rural environment and above all the silence, without sacrificing comfort. The landlady is a delightful, discreet and careful lady with bright and serious eyes, takes care of you, prepares breakfast, if you want dinner, the rooms. I will often return to my homeland relying on this structure discovered only today, the only sin.
