Located in a large converted farmhouse, La Foresteria is located 9 miles from the spa town of Rapolano Terme. The hotel features a restaurant and pizzeria with wood-burning oven.

Albergo La Foresteria offers spacious rooms with exposed wooden beams and tiled floors. Each room enjoys views of the surrounding countryside, and includes a modern bathroom complete with bathrobe and toiletry set. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel.

The Foresteria serves a varied breakfast buffet including homemade cake and cookies. The restaurant specializes in local cuisine and it offers an extensive selection of Tuscan wines. On summer evenings, guests can have dinner on the grounds.

A sweet breakfast is served each morning in the dining room- homemade cakes and croissants, cereals, excellent yogurt and fresh juices. Also available is a savoury hot breakfast, with fresh omelette, and an incredible choice of local charcuterie and cheeses.

For 40 years, our trattoria has been a classic family-run establishment that values traditional cuisine. We offer homemade pasta, wood-fired focaccia, mushrooms, and strictly grilled meat, among other dishes that are deeply rooted in our region's culinary traditions.

During the winter, our fireplace warms up the beautiful main dining room, and during the summer, our large garden is the perfect spot to enjoy our carefully selected, locally sourced ingredients.

In addition to typical Tuscan dishes, such as ribollita, crostini, pici, wild boar, and Florentine steak, our Neapolitan-style pizza is a must-try dish. Raffaele prepares classic versions such as margherita, marinara, and fresh tomato, all cooked in a wood-fired oven. Our homemade desserts and selection of Tuscan red wines are also highly recommended.

The hotel Foresteria, located in a central position as to the most beautiful art cities of the Tuscany and Umbria, offers a place for a very special holiday. Here it is possibile to relax yourself, in the calm of the surrouding country. The hotel is far only one km from Valdichiana tollgate and is situated in a hillock of Sinalunga town. Until few years ago it was the heart of a big factory, then a recent and accurated restoration transformed it in a welcoming holiday house which is divided in 16 rooms and three suites of very new construction. The restoration of the farmhouse, made under the direction of the architect Mietta, has been made keeping the same structural characteristics and its original charm…. . walls made by stones and bricks, rafters, vaults, arches.
The single rooms, with French bed, and the double rooms include Tv, heating, air conditioner, telephone, bath and fridge.
Together to the services listed above the suites have also a living room, hairdryer and safe-deposit box.
The price of the room includes also a really good breakfast with homemade cakes.
The family running hotel places an excellent restaurant with typical Tuscan food at their guests’ disposal, a very good pizza house with wood-burning oven, a stock of a large choice of red Tuscan wines, bar, parking and a big garden where it is possible to stay to have dinner during the summer period.
Everyone loves to rigenerate the body and the spirit and it is possible to do it in one of many thermal centres which can be reached in a few minutes by car from our hotel; really near there are swimming pools, golf, horse-riding centre, tennis, flying school and for shopping lovers we are far only one km from the new Valdichiana Villane Outlet.

The absolute best host family we could have asked for. Very kind. Very accommodating. Went out of their way to make our stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. We loved our time at La Foresteria! The hosts were very kind and the property is lovely. They indulged my desire to practice my Italian, with no criticism! We had breakfast every morning and were very pleased. Due to plans made by other members of our group, we were only able to have dinner one night. It was perfect. We ate outside under the stars and could not have enjoyed ourselves more. We shared antipasti, pizza, pasta and dolci, with wine throughout dinner. It was delicious at a very reasonable price. We all hope to be able to return for a longer stay.

We had a very good stay at the hotel restaurant LA FORESTERIA Via Boscolungo - Sinalunga (SI). Welcomed with kindness and discretion, the superior room was large, beautiful and comfortable. Raffaele went out of his way to satisfy us at breakfast. He kindly introduced us to many specialties. The restaurant is also very welcoming. The typical dishes of the region are generous and accompanied by good wines. The restaurant is also frequented by many Italians. In short, a lovely stay in a magnificent region: a stone's throw from the Val d'Orcia.

If you are looking for a quality hotel and restaurant in a country setting away from the crowds, this is the place. The owners and staff are very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast choices were awesome and the food at the restaurant was excellent. It was quite evident that the restaurant is well-known to locals. We will definitely stay here again in the future.

We stayed in May 2023 for a good week at the B&B La Foresteria. Our room was spacious, everything was very clean and nicely decorated in Italian style. From the room, a door led directly to the garden, where one could sit in a shaded area. We didn't hear anything from the nearby highway. The extremely friendly owner family spoiled us with homemade cake, fresh fruit, and other Tuscan delicacies for breakfast, and there were no wishes left unfulfilled even during dinner at the associated restaurant. We really enjoyed this stay and can only recommend the B&B. Doris & Harald.

For Google maps make sure you put in Albergo La Foresteria, not just La Foresteria or you will be sent somewhere completely different! The actual location is quite near the A1 which is handy and now we know where it is we will stay again.

Unfortunately, the room was very hot from the moment we arrived until we left, the air conditioning was working but not cooling. For the price paid, not being able to sleep due to the heat does not seem right.

The savory food prepared in the kitchen at the moment with eggs, toast, tomatoes and hams, for the sweet there are many homemade cakes, pastries, jams etc. From the internal bar to the restaurant you can then request coffee, cappuccino, tea etc. The location is strategic, in a pleasant half hour (or a little more) by car among the Tuscan hills you can reach Lake Trasimeno, Siena, Montepulciano, Pienza and Montalcino in the Val d'Orcia. The external structure is spectacular. Some details could be reviewed and fixed internally and in the rooms, for example the bathroom. The location is excellent and close to many points of interest in the area, perhaps a bit penalized by the proximity of the highway. The management is excellent, the staff is friendly and helpful, excellent breakfast and the restaurant is definitely worth trying, lots of choices and very good quality. The structure is a beautiful farmhouse located in an excellent position to reach all the villages of the Val di Chiana and the Val d'Orcia. In half an hour you can also reach Umbria to stop at Lake Trasimeno. The managers and all the staff are attentive to the needs of their guests, always friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay at La Foresteria! The room was very spacious, very clean and with well-equipped furniture and wardrobe, it was arranged in 2 connecting rooms because we were 4 and the beds were very comfortable, even the sofa bed for the kids! The bathroom was spacious, with a nice shower and with quality shower gel-shampoo. The manager's welcome was very quick and especially friendly! The breakfast was really abundant and rich in delicious homemade sweets! In the evening we also had dinner and enjoyed the outdoor tables due to the nice weather, a truly suggestive and relaxing atmosphere and above all really delicious, typical and abundant dishes! The pizza was superb!

Lovely and peaceful place, excellent location to move around and visit the characteristic Tuscan villages as it is close to the highway/motorway. Extremely clean rooms and welcoming and kind hosts. The restaurant serves delicious food as you can tell that the ingredients are top quality and the cook is very skilled. Breakfast is also abundant and tasty. I recommend it, a wonderful and relaxing place to enjoy the Tuscan hills.

Located among the Tuscan countryside, well positioned to reach various tourist destinations. Comfortable rooms, good cleanliness, good quality traditional cuisine. Impeccable kindness of Mr. Raffaele and his entire family. Recommended.

Beautiful, clean location, strategically located for those passing through. Courtesy of the staff more than excellent. Dinner at the restaurant with excellent Fiorentina steak and correct price. It also has a charging station for electric cars.
