My name is Franca and I am the granddaughter of grandmother Miglia, together with my husband Giorgio we have recently restored and furnished with passion the little house where my maternal grandparents have lived with love since the beginning of the last century and it is right inside these walls that born their love, a true fairy tale that will immerse you in a magical world between legend and reality.
My grandfather loved to give hearts to his beloved every day and for this reason we called it "La Casina dei Cuori di Nonna Miglia" in fact you will find hearts scattered throughout the cottage giving it a refined and romantic touch.
La Casina dei Cuori is located on the first floor above a vault in the middle of the historic village of Pallerone (being in a historic house there is no lift).
The entrance door is located on the ground floor, a small flight of stairs leads to the first floor where there are: a bathroom with a large walk-in shower, towels, bathrobes and courtesy kit, a large living room with fully equipped kitchenette, a "Heavenly Heart" room with a single bed furnished as a sofa and another "Romantic Hearts" double room, each furnished with attention to the smallest details with inside each comfortable grandmother's wardrobe completely restored.
We are in a strategic position to be able to easily reach and visit the wonders that the area offers, from the mountains to the sea in a land rich in culture, traditions, entertainment but also magical places that will surely make you fall in love.
The attention to detail and attention to our guests will make your stay an unforgettable experience by welcoming you with courtesy and sympathy making you feel at home.

La casina dei Cuori is located in the center of Pallerone, a hamlet of Aulla, 50 meters from the main square of the town, near the church of San Tommaso Bekket from the 1400s with the famous oldest mechanical nativity scene in Italy (1935) adjacent to it and the Castle of Pallerone, a luxurious seventeenth-century residence that belonged to the Malaspina marquises.
Pallerone is a small village near the Via Francigena in the heart of Lunigiana, surrounded by mountains, rivers and streams in an ideal position for walks and trekking and cycling excursions to discover magical places.
This land is also rich in history, medieval villages, castles, towers, manors, noble residences, in fact it is also called "Land of the Hundred Castles" therefore also home to ghosts, goblins, stories and legends, a thousand years back in the Middle Ages where to spend a weekend or a holiday immersed in history, myths, legends and good food.
This place is also ideal for visiting the Apennine mountains at 1000 msl there are Cerreto Laghi and Prato Spilla which collect all the natural, landscape characteristics and sports-recreational facilities both in summer and in winter, the nearby Garfagnana, Pontremoli, Equi terme, but also the marvelous Cinque Terre, the Gulf of Poets from Portovenere to Lerici, Bocca di Magra, Carrara with its famous marble quarries and the nearby Versilia which are approximately only half an hour away by car or train, while 1 an hour away you can make day trips to the beautiful cities of art such as Parma, Pisa, Lucca, Genoa, Portofino and with an extra half hour's drive you can also reach the beautiful Florence.
We are about 4 km from the Aulla motorway exit and railway station, the nearest airport is Pisa, about 70 km away.
Parking is free just a few meters from the house.
Nearby are: bar, bakery, restaurant, pizzeria, supermarket, ATM, bricofer, pharmacy and petrol station.
