Description

"La Casa nel Borgo" is the only B&B in the historical centre of Bibbona, an ancient Medieval village, plunged in nature, at 7 km from the sea and the pinewoods of Marina di Bibbona. The confortable rooms, with a romantic and poetic atmosphere, enjoy a suggestive view on the hills. The house of Medieval origine, has been restored and furnished with care in respect to the Tuscan tradition. It has a panoramic garden above the ancient hills, rich in roses, aromatic plantes and of old variety where guests can taste breakfast with local and biological products and of fair trade. The B&B is at 6 km from Bolgheri along the road of the wine and of oil. Nearby there is an oasis of wwf and the "Macchia della Magona" park, with naturalistic tracks. In the ancient village there are characteristic restaurants and pizzerias of typical cuisine. you can easily reach the most important cities of art such as: Volterra (km. 34), Siena (km. 85), Florence (km. 126), Lucca (km. 93), Pise (km. 70).

That you immediately managed to become a friend is evident, but even almost one of the family does not happen so often. Very kind indeed, and definitely competent as a tourism operator. La Casa nel Borgo provided us with all the comfort imaginable. From the clean and stylishly furnished interior to the wonderfully beautiful terraced garden with a splendid view, we felt completely at ease! The kitchen equipment allows for excellent self-catering. Marco is a very attentive and helpful host who offered us various forms of support and practical advice to make the most of our stay in the region. The description of the accommodation and the photos matched what we found.

The name of the B&B says it all, in fact, the apartment fits perfectly with the small medieval village it is part of. The little apartment is comfortable, clean and tidy, equipped with everything needed. Breakfast is Italian style with cake and brioches and the owner is very kind and helpful. Good value for money. If I pass by these parts again, I will definitely return.

The kind and young Marco solved a 'last-minute' issue for us by offering not a room in a Bed and Breakfast, but a little house located in a very peaceful area in the middle of the Bibbona countryside. It felt like we had fallen into the movie "Il ciclone". Next to the house, there were even parked a Ape Car and an old scooter. In the evening, we even saw 2 little foxes chasing each other. Then it was so fresh, and sleeping with a concert of crickets was very relaxing. The little house still lacked some furnishings, but the bedroom was really beautiful and the bathroom more than enough. Thanks again to Marco and who knows if we might meet again.

I would say that we had a really good time. Very welcoming and discreet, as is the manager Marco. The room is spacious and well heated. The bathroom is a bit small, but still functional. We will return to have breakfast on the terrace because unfortunately the weather has not been the best, but no one is to blame for this.

We stayed a few days in Bibbona as guests of La Casa nel Borgo. The structure is very welcoming and has maintained its original style in the renovation. The double room is spacious and tastefully furnished, the canopy bed is comfortable with embroidered sheets, in addition to a beautiful view of the surrounding hills. The bathroom is functional although a bit small. The classic breakfast (tea, milk coffee, fresh croissants, and fresh fruit) is served on the terrace among fragrant plants and flowers. Marco, the host, is always kind and generous with good advice to fully enjoy the beauties of the area. Recommended for those who want tranquility just a few steps from the sea.

La Casa nel Borgo is a very pleasant apartment furnished with taste and love, with a very pleasant and friendly owner Marco who welcomed us with extreme kindness and cordiality. The apartment is in the historic center of Bibbona, it is taken care of in the smallest details and the offered room is comfortable and bright with very comfortable mattresses even for those who suffer from back pain like me. The area is very quiet and peaceful and there is the possibility to have breakfast on the beautiful terrace well taken care of in every detail. Thank you Marco for the hospitality and company.

The structure is small and welcoming, the room is absolutely comfortable and perfectly taken care of in all details, from the mattresses (very comfortable) to the provided service. The house has a nice terrace and an intimate and pleasant terraced garden where you can enjoy beautiful hours of relaxation. The position is perfect, 10 minutes from the sea and with a view of the surrounding hills, and the village of Bibbona is characteristic and welcoming: it is still not overcrowded by mass tourism like the nearby Bolgheri and Castagneto Carducci. If you want a quiet accommodation to move around the area between land and sea, I absolutely recommend La Casa nel Borgo.
