Description

The Yellow House is located in a very peaceful area, surrounded by greenery and the silence of the open countryside, an excellent location for those who desire total relaxation.

It can be reached in 3 minutes from the A12 motorway exit of Carrara. In just 3 minutes by car, you can reach free or private beaches, the exhibition center, or the center of Marina for shopping, taking secondary roads without traffic. There are also a few bicycles available, depending on availability at the moment.

The car parking is located in the inner courtyard and is part of a vast 4, 000 square meter garden with a pool (access is NOT allowed for safety reasons). Tree-lined and grassy areas surround the Yellow House. The rooms are all easily accessible, with independent entrances, and from them, you can access the bright breakfast area located in the common living room or the wisteria-covered pergola terrace or the sun terrace.

ATTENTION! We accept reservations for a minimum of 2 nights. The minimum rate applies to stays of 2 nights or more, even for 1 night with a late checkout.

So simple yet sufficient, with everything you need: liquid foods such as milk, coffee, tea, juices, yogurt, honey, and jams, and solid foods such as biscuits, croissants, toasted slices, cornflakes, and flakes..PLEASE NOTE: unfortunately, as you all know, the law requires that all foods for B&Bs be pre-packaged! However, we are available to accommodate your specific requests. We will serve you at the previously agreed time, as there is no common buffet here.

The Yellow House is located in the green countryside of northern Tuscany, in the municipality of Carrara, in the province of Massa-Carrara, just a few meters from the Ligurian border. It is 3 minutes away from the Carrara highway exit and approximately 1 km from the sea. Carrara is 5 km away, and Marina di Carrara is 1. 5 km away. There are many points of interest in the area, including the Tyrrhenian Sea and the Ligurian Sea, as well as the mountains, the Apuan Alps, which are made of white marble (which can also be admired from here!). A little further away, there is the Tusco-Emilian Apennines, where you can even go skiing! The cities of northern Tuscany, such as Pisa, Lucca, Livorno, and Florence, are very close, as well as the Gulf of Poets in Liguria, with Portovenere and the famous Cinque Terre. Sarzana is 10 km away, La Spezia and the Gulf of Poets are 20 km away, Versilia, Pietrasanta, and Forte dei Marmi are 15 km away, and the Cinque Terre are from 30 to 40 km away. Lucca, Pisa, Livorno are 50 km away, and Florence is 120 km away. Carrara is famous for its marble, and the territory is beautiful with its combination of sea and magnificent mountains, the Apuan Alps. Just a few kilometers from Carrara, there is the village of Colonnata, famous for its Lardo Dop. The Fiere area, where various events are held throughout the year, is 1. 5 km away.

We spent a weekend here to be close to Forte dei Marmi. The location is very convenient near the highway. La Casa Giallina is very nice, well-kept and clean. The owner is very kind and helpful. We really enjoyed ourselves, in total relaxation.

Beautiful structure and very kind host, the bicycles they provided us with were very useful. Shame we couldn't use the pool (it is clearly specified that it cannot be used in the accommodation description but I wouldn't put it in the photos, it could attract erroneously).

Beautiful property, located in a very quiet area but still only 2 km from the sea. I recommend it to all couples and families who want to stay at La Casa Giallina, a new structure with a beautiful garden. Inside, it has parking space. The breakfast is simple but has everything you need. Lastly, the owner is a very kind and cultured person, willing to give suggestions on places to visit.

The structure is new and tasteful, the ground floor annex consists of two bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, entrance, and living room with a kitchen to be specified at the time of booking if desired. Great solution for two couples of friends or a family unit. The entire B&B is surrounded by greenery and located in a very quiet area. Truly close to the beaches, both free and paid, of Marina di Carrara (two minutes by car). The B&B also has a pool, as shown in the photos, but its use is regulated. If you want to use it constantly during your stay, I suggest specifying it at the time of booking. The breakfast is sufficient, but nothing special. Milk and coffee with biscuits, cake, and brioche, all packaged. I would say there is ample room for improvement. Impeccable cleanliness. The manager is friendly and unobtrusive, respects the privacy of guests but is always available in case of need. The quality/price ratio is really great and I recommend this place to those who, like us, were looking for something quiet but close to the sea. I thank Mr. Francesco for his hospitality.
