La Casa di Zefiro

The Bed & Breakfast "La casa di Zefiro" is a small family-run establishment born in 2003 and personally managed by the owner Alessandro Cenci. In 2017 its rooms were completely renovated to offer its guests better comfort.

The villa is located in the small village of Castra located in the Municipality of Capraia and Limite between Empoli (the city of the musician Ferruccio Busoni and also famous for its glass museum, MUVE), Vinci (the birthplace of the Florentine genius Leonardo da Vinci) and Montelupo Fiorentino (famous for its ceramics and its museum). Thanks to its location, the structure is very popular, as it is located in a strategic point of Tuscany between Florence, Prato and Pistoia at 400 meters above sea level. immersed in the countryside near the Montalbano natural park.

“La casa di Zefiro” is made up of 4 bright rooms with private bathroom, furnished with taste, simplicity and in an original way. All rooms overlook the typical Tuscan hills with their handkerchief or terrace plots of land dedicated to the cultivation of olive trees, vines and wheat.

Free wi-fi service is available throughout the hotel. The rooms are also equipped with 32 ”SMART TV, hairdryer, heating and air conditioning. Every morning it is cleaned and linen is changed every 3 days.

From "La casa di Zefiro" you can reach the Montelupo Fiorentino train station in less than 10 minutes by car, well connected to the most important Tuscan cities: Florence, Pisa, Siena, Livorno, Viareggio.

But our region is also famous for its characteristic villages and enchanting villages that can be easily reached by car thanks to the strategic location of the B&B, among these we remember: Carmignano, with its Church of San Michele which houses Pontormo's "The visitation" or Artimino with the famous Medici Villa known to most as "Villa of the hundred fireplaces", Montespertoli, Montecatini Terme, Collodi "The city of Pinocchio" and the "Villa Garzoni", Signa with its beautiful "Villa Caruso", Sesto Fiorentino with his “villa of the Medici della Petraia”, San Gimignano, Volterra, Certaldo the city of Boccaccio, and much more.

The service provided can be bed and breakfast or room only. In the summer you can have breakfast on the terrace overlooking the hills or in the room specially used.

We are also at your disposal for museum reservations or tours of the city of Florence and other Tuscan art centers.

POOL:
The use of a swimming cap is mandatory to access the pool. If you don't have it, you can buy it directly at the reception for € 2. 00. The swimming pool will be open on a date to be determined and will be closed on 1st September
