La Casa del Voltone is a spacious, welcoming home, thoughtfully furnished across two floors of a medieval building in Pontremoli. It lies on the uphill route to Piagnaro Castle, in the town’s pedestrian-only centre, and is reached by climbing around thirty steps. From the house, guests can enjoy views over the town, with the main square, cafés, shops and restaurants close by.
The accommodation includes a kitchen with dining space, a living room, two bedrooms, a bathroom and a storage room with a washing machine.
Facilities include a TV, DVD player, Xbox console, books, games and Wi-Fi. Families with children can also make use of a cot with safety rails, toys, colouring books and drawing supplies.
The home has been renovated and features roof windows that can be operated and fully darkened using a remote control.

We felt at home even though we were nearly 300 km from our own home. The Casa del Voltone has everything: spacious, comfortable and cool. There is the possibility to cook, do a load of laundry, and enjoy the house as you wish. The experience was completed by the cats that live in the alleys beside the property (in the historic center, at the foot of the Pignaro castle), always ready for a cuddle or a stroke. Saveria is a very kind and attentive host, and Michela, who helps her, is no less. See you next time! ❤️.

We stayed here as a family with two adults and two children for three nights. We really liked the apartment, its location, the old town of Pontremoli and the surrounding area with the mountains and rivers for hiking. We would have liked to stay longer, or we'll just have to come back again.
