La Casa del Voltone

The Casa del Voltone is the ideal place for those who appreciate the comfort of a spacious home, welcoming and tastefully furnished. It extends over two floors inside a medieval house in the most characteristic part of Pontremoli, along the climb that leads to the Piagnaro Castle. Just a little more effort, about thirty steps, and you will have arrived! The location offers a unique panorama that fascinates all our guests. We are in a pedestrian area, in the heart of the town, just a few steps from the main square, bars, shops, restaurants, and the train station is also nearby but not so close as to hear the noise. At your disposal are a kitchen, living room, two bedrooms, bathroom, and storage room, which houses the washing machine.

To make your stay even more enjoyable, a TV, DVD player, Xbox console, books, games, and Wi-Fi connection are available. Even the little ones will find their dedicated space: a crib with rails, toys, coloring books, and everything needed for drawing.

The house has undergone significant and skillful renovation; you will appreciate the convenience of the skylight windows, which can be managed and completely darkened with the simple use of the remote control.

Pontremoli, known as the gateway to Tuscany, boasts a strategic location, a short distance from Liguria and Emilia Romagna, and is an excellent base for your vacation. Cinque Terre, Portovenere, Lerici, the Apuan Alps, Florence, Lucca are some of the destinations easily reachable by car or train! Well served by trains and buses, it also has a dedicated highway exit.
