Il Vichiaccio is a charming Country House located near San Casciano in Val di Pesa, right in the heart of the Chianti region. Passionately managed by Beatrice, the property enjoys a stunning location, immersed in the peaceful countryside and surrounded by the prestigious Chianti Classico vineyards. Florence is reachable in just 20 minutes, making it an ideal base for exploring the city while avoiding its hustle and bustle.
Sant'Angelo Apartment
Located in the main farmhouse, Sant'Angelo is a spacious 135-sqm apartment set across two floors.
The Interior: It features a large kitchen with a wood-burning fireplace, 3 bedrooms with private bathrooms, and a total of 9 beds (plus 3 extra beds for children if needed). An additional double bedroom can be added upon request for a fee.
Accessibility: The ground-floor quadruple room includes an en-suite bathroom fully accessible to wheelchair users.
Amenities: The apartment is equipped with air conditioning in every room, an induction hob, refrigerator, oven, microwave, and free Wi-Fi throughout.
Private Outdoor Spaces
Guests have exclusive access to a beautiful garden with a covered veranda for al fresco dining. My name is Beatrice, I'm 58 years old. For over 20 years I have worked for a large sportswear company. With my husband, with whom we shared the dream of a house in the country where we can live and raise our children, we bought in 2001 and renovated the village of Vichiaccio over the course of several years. Due to its convenient position, Vichiaccio represents an excellent base if you wish to visit the area of Chianti Classico, Florence and Siena. It is also a good starting point for visiting the historic villages of Impruneta (famous for the production of Cotto), Greve in Chianti (main town in Chianti Gallo Nero) and San Casciano Val di Pesa (a 12th Century fortified village, which in the past has been object of dispute between Florence and Siena for long time). Also the Tyrrhenian coast, with its famous seaside resorts of Castiglioncello, San Vincenzo and Livorno, is within reach

Large farmhouse on a hill with beautiful vineyards. Great, relaxing location with amazing views. This house worked well for my disabled son as there are no stairs to enter the downstairs bedroom & bathroom. Highly recommended!

The property was just what I was looking for, a country home in the vineyards of Tuscany. It is rustic and charming, but very clean and had everything we needed. The host, Beatrice, was very helpful and kind. We were able to do laundry, which was wonderful.

We stayed in December 2017, 3 families with children. Beautiful and very welcoming structure immersed in greenery, quiet, clean and large rooms furnished with taste. Fully equipped kitchen for 12 people. Nothing was missing, with a spectacular stove-height brazier. Mrs. Beatrice is very helpful and kind. I also recommend it for the price. I bought some meat in a butcher shop in the area called Agresti Spectacular.

One of the most enchanting places I've ever seen. Immersed in the tranquility of the beautiful Chianti landscape, it was a stop for me and my wife on a journey in search of relaxation. Rooms furnished with taste, courtesy, and a contagious smile are the main features that will strike you once you arrive at the structure. You won't miss the advice on places to visit that Bea and Massimo will be able to give with great generosity. We can't wait to go back for a slightly longer period. Thank you Bea, thank you Massimo.

Staying at Il Vichiaccio was the highlight of our honeymoon. The warmth and kindness shown to us by the family owners Bea and Massimo along with gorgeous vineyards, crackling fires, and amazing Toscano food just across the vineyard at Castello Gabianno - well, we were in heaven and wanted time to stand still. Bea chatted with us and guided us to wonderful little Tuscan towns in the hills. She is a very good natured soul and we were so happy to meet her and her husband Massimo. We would stay forever if we could. alas, we recommend this house with our highest compliments. We look forward to returning one day.
