Il Viaggiator Leggero born from the desire to offer a pleasant stay in Florence and feel at home.
Six rooms with six different colors, all the rooms have their own character and stand out one from the other in a simple and romantic decor, the common denominator is the love for our guests, the desire to cuddle them and make them feel at their own comfortable, happy and carefree while enjoying the permanence and the supreme beauty of Florence.
We are located near the center but away from the chaos of the center, with a 15-minute walk to the historic center and the central station of Santa Maria Novella.
Well connected with the Tramway (the nearest station is 5 minutes away on foot), 2 bus lines arrive from the Central Station and 2 more lead to the center, in addition we have a bus that goes to and returns from Piazzale Michelangelo, one of the most beautiful and evocative points of Florence with the marvelous panoramic view of the city.
For those arriving by car, we are in the ideal location, about a 10-minute drive from the Firenze Scandicci motorway exit. We are not in the limited traffic zone so you can arrive with the car in complete tranquility.
It is possible to park in the blue stripes we have in the surroundings of the B&B or in a nearby and cheap parking lot.
The area is full of excellent restaurants and clubs where you can make a good aperitif.
The district of S. Frediano has been named by the famous tourist guide Loonely Planet one of the coolest neighborhoods in the world.
In the historic center you arrive with a walk of 15/20 minutes, and also the church of S. Spirito, Palazzo Pitti and the Boboli Gardens, Ponte Vecchio can be reached by a suggestive walk in the characteristic Via Pisana, which crosses among other things the arch of S. Frediano.
Another way to get to the center is by going along the bank of the Arno river, with the splendid view of the famous Ponte Vecchio on the horizon.

We are about 1. 8 km from the Santa Maria Novella central station, from which we are perfectly connected with the T1 tramway and bus numbers 6 and 12. Behind the house we have a large supermarket, any type of business is within walking distance, hairdresser, beautician, pharmacy, bakery and many restaurants of all kinds.

The room was spotless and cute; the bathroom was new and super clean. Nothing to complain about. It is about a 25-minute walk from the center, which you notice more as the days go by, especially because public transport is a mess. The patio is a bit scary, but I repeat: the room is impeccable.

The room is cozy, spotless, and equipped with all comforts. Costanza was very courteous and could provide us with several recommendations. The location of the property is a bit off from the center, but the area is served by buses and can be easily reached. It is also close to the Visarno racetrack, where concerts are often held. A supermarket is also nearby for any necessities. For breakfast, you need to go to a bar/patisserie about a hundred meters away that offers an excellent selection.

We had a great time. The accommodation is very clean, quiet, and easily reachable on foot from Santa Maria Novella station and the center. The owner is friendly and helpful. We did not choose breakfast, so I cannot give an opinion on that. We will definitely return.

We stayed 2 nights in this B&B and we had a great time. The room is spacious (we were sleeping 3 so with an extra bed) and especially clean. Mrs. Costanza is welcoming and helpful. It is located 20 minutes on foot from the center, but the walk along the Arno is pleasant. The breakfast is excellent and abundant.

We loved spending 4 nights at 'Il Viaggiator Leggero B&B'. Everything very clean, large and very comfortable room, excellent service from Constanza, she responded to all my messages immediately. The breakfast is very good. Super good value for money.

Stayed for two nights with a thousand issues upon arrival due to transportation delays, but the owner gave me all the information to be completely autonomous. She was very kind and I could organize myself as if I were at home. Same thing for the check out. Never seen such courtesy and kindness. The B&B Il Viaggiator Leggero is in a good location, not in the center, but I could still move around comfortably on foot, without any difficulty. The building is not the best, the thing I didn't like was the presence of signs at the entrance placed by the residents that, in a rather annoyed tone, to say the least aggressive, made requests for cleanliness, etc. to other residents. It seemed like a lack of style. On the other hand, the room is a little paradise, tastefully furnished, fragrant and spotlessly clean, as well as sufficiently spacious. I appreciated the candies at the entrance.
Breakfast: it is served in an affiliated bar and, to be honest, I didn't appreciate it much because the choice was only between 2 croissants. For those like me who don't like sweet breakfast, it's not the best. In any case, I am sure I will return, I felt like part of the family and not just a 'guest'. Thank you for everything Costanza.

We stayed at this property for a weekend. Very comfortable place, very close to the center (easy to move around on foot), lovely room, very comfortable bed, and excellent cleanliness. I recommend it!
