Tempo Lento is the perfect place for those who want to slow down and rediscover the joy of a genuine holiday, surrounded by nature and far from the hectic pace of everyday life. Here, time is marked by sunlight and the changing seasons, in an atmosphere of complete serenity.
The house, built with stone and wood and restored with respect for tradition, is spread over two floors and offers cozy and practical spaces. It features two double bedrooms, two full bathrooms with showers, a fully equipped kitchen with an espresso coffee machine, free Wi-Fi, and all the amenities needed for a relaxing stay. Outside, the terraced courtyard invites guests to enjoy pleasant moments outdoors, with a barbecue and a wood-fired oven available.
The property is surrounded by chestnut forests crossed by hiking trails, including the historic route of the Via Francigena, and bike paths that lead to charming medieval villages and castles. The Cinque Terre National Park is about a thirty-minute drive away, making the property an excellent starting point for excursions along the Ligurian coast.
Guests have free access to a book-crossing library, a secure bike storage area, an e-bike charging station, and, subject to availability, some bicycles are provided at no extra cost.
To make the stay even more enjoyable, guests receive a welcome basket upon arrival containing fresh fruit, bread, pasta, extra virgin olive oil, and coffee. For stays of seven nights or more, a bottle of wine and a jar of honey produced by the Il Pungiglione Social Cooperative are also included, a cause supported in part by the rental proceeds.

After more than thirty years dedicated to caring for people, with days and nights compressed into a tight schedule and a profound sense of fulfillment for what we've experienced, we were given the opportunity to slow down and look back.
So, in 2024, we left the commitments and pace of the medical profession to reclaim our lives, rediscovering the value of time, places, and relationships.
From these reflections and this transformation, the "Il Tempo del Borgo" project was born, with the desire to benefit people through hospitality.
We don't cater to simple tourists, but to those who travel in search of a different perspective on knowledge and awareness.
We would like to offer opportunities for meaningful experiences and discoveries, and for 2026 we are offering many free activities: Italian and vegan cuisine, foraging, a biodynamic garden, hiking, herbal medicine, and homemade soap and detergent production.

A traditional bakery offering bread, cakes, and focaccia is located 5 km away and delivers to homes three times a week. The closest shops are 6 km away.
Due to the layout of the village and the houses, it may be challenging to live here for those with mobility issues.
