The Emperor's Farmhouse is a countryside residence just a few meters away from Napoleon's villa. The rooms are inspired by two women from Napoleon's life: his lover and his sister.
Surrounded by nature, with animals living freely, the farmhouse tells a distant but immortal story that can be felt both inside and outside its walls.
Outside, the common areas are fully available, starting from the courtyard where breakfast will be served every morning.
The accommodation consists of a bedroom with a double bed and a living room with a sofa bed, as well as an independent entrance and a private bathroom.

The most difficult thing is to describe itself, but I'll try. I am 52 years old, I graduated ITC (Commercial Technical Institute) married with the love of my life for a good 37 years and mother of a 28 year old daughter who is the light of our eyes. We live with us Creon and Medea, our two wonderful Labradors, Guendalina, a goose with a curious story that you will know only if you come to visit us, and two tiny kittens born just over a month.
For the past 25 years I have been instructing Jazzercise (an American Fitness program) and here is the first question you will surely ask yourself: what does a fitness teacher have to do with a B & B? In reality, nothing but I believe I am one of those people who have so many passions and who in the course of their lives try to realize them all or almost.
"The Podere dell'Imperatore", as we have called it, is the realization of a desire that I carry with me since I was a child. A country house surrounded by animals, where you can wake up with the song of the rooster or with the chirping of birds, where you can dine under a candlelit tree with a background of crickets and frogs that seem to sing a stoned lullaby and..have the house always full of friends. Well, our house is just like that. It is always open and anyone who comes to the farm feels at home.

Virginia and Vittorio are two fantastic people, very friendly and helpful but always discreet. The structure is cared for in every detail and equipped with all the comforts, with the advantage of being in the middle of nature in a very well-kept and quiet place. The breakfast is based on homemade and always different products. Virginia gave us valuable advice on what to visit or where to eat on the island. The location is strategic, just outside Portoferraio, and from here you can easily reach all areas of the island. If you love animals, then, this place is a true paradise! Ludovico and I left a piece of our hearts here!

A paradise within paradise. A charming location, tranquility and relaxation. Impeccable management, Virginia and Vittorio are unparalleled, very sweet and efficient. Maria's room, beautiful, as I believe Paolina's is too. The breakfast is superb and abundant in both sweet and savory options, very attentive also to allergies and intolerances. Truly beautiful.

We have never felt truly at home in the hotels, bed and breakfasts, and agriturismos we have stayed in. At Il Podere dell'Imperatore, it's really possible. It's a magical place and it's indescribable in its beauty and authenticity! Virginia, Vittorio, their two wonderful labradors, and the goose Guendalina made our vacation unforgettable! You feel pampered and everything is taken care of in every detail. Wonderful breakfasts with Virginia's homemade cakes, fragrant sheets and towels, welcoming decor, attention to healthy living, love for animals and nature, and Vittorio's care in maintaining every corner of this paradise. We could really say much more, but to truly understand what we experienced, you just have to book and discover it in person. Il Podere dell'Imperatore is Cristina's dream that becomes a reality for anyone who crosses its threshold.

Siamo stati accolti come fossimo dei vecchi amici. Siamo stati veramente molto bene e se dovessimo tornare all'Elba sicuramente sceglierei ancora il Podere dell'Imperatore.

Stare al podere di Napoleone è stato come ascoltare della buona musica, senza mai una nota stonata. Luogo incantevole, in campagna ma a due passi dal mare, gestito da una gentilissima famiglia, sempre presente ma mai invadente. Stanza grande, arredata con cura e pulitissima.
Colazioni super con dolci fatti in casa, frutta, salato e qualsiasi cosa si desideri, il tutto servito sotto le fronde di un secolare albicocco. E quando si ritorna stanchi dopo una giornata al mare o dopo una meravigliosa esperienza di trekking all'Elba ci si può stendere sui comodi lettini messi a disposizione nel giardino proprio davanti alla camera. Tutto davvero curato e perfetto. Voto 10 e lode!

Siamo stati in questa magnifica struttura io e la mia compagna per una settimana e tutto e’ stato magnifico. La struttura e’ molto curata ed immersa nel verde con un panorama spettacolare. I gestori, Cristina e Vittorio, insieme al resto della famiglia sono persone gentilissime, disponibili ed attenti alle esigenze degli ospiti e ti mettono subito a tuo agio. Le camere sono molto belle, curate e spaziose. La colazione e’ sublime e ricchissima con dolci freschi preparati da Cristina. Non manca il salato, la frutta e altre prelibatezze.
Ottima anche la compagnia dei vari amici animali che colorano l’ambiente e fanno parte della famiglia. Veramente non abbiamo trovato nessuna nota negativa. Grazie a Vittorio, Cristina ed al resto della famiglia per averci fatto passare una settimana bellissima.

Sono stato con la mia compagna una settimana in questa struttura e ci siamo trovati benissimo.
Gentilissimi i proprietari, situato a pochi km dal centro di Portoferraio ho dato il massimo voto anche sulla posizione nonostante lontana dal mare perché tranquillissimo. La notte un cielo stellato visibile a occhio nudo e di giorno una tranquillità, una pace che alcune volte non saremmo voluti nemmeno andare in spiaggia.
Uno di quei posti che speri di tornarci.

Posto magico appena fuori il centro immersi nella natura tra oche, papere e due cagnoloni dolcissimi. Un bellissimo soggiorno Al podere, che dire.
Accoglienza spettacolare, dalla location, per la sua tranquillità, immersa nella campagna ma a 2 passi dal centro città, punto strategico per raggiungere tutta l'isola con pochi minuti di auto, alla colazione, con buonissime torte fresche fatte in casa; la gentilezza, disponibilità e simpatia dei proprietari che con i loro svariati animali, da cortile e da compagnia, ti allietano la mattinata ed il rientro a casa! Ricordo bellissimo di questa isola spettacolare.

Il B&B è magnifico, tranquillo, immerso nel verde. Le camere, o meglio, le suites sono ampie, luminose, pulite.
La colazione preparata da Cristina è sempre abbondante e con qualche novità nei dolci fatti in casa.
I proprietari sono sempre disponibili a suggerimenti sul soggiorno, consigliando, spiagge, escursioni, ristoranti, attività culturali. Abbiamo trascorso un soggiorno coi fiocchi.

Siamo stati 5 notti con l'intenzione di rilassarci e riposarci. Non potevamo trovare posto e persone migliori del Podere dell'imperatore e di Cristina e Vittorio che lo gestiscono. Dire che tutto è stupendo e riduttivo. La posizione centrale rispetto all'Elba (entroterra di Portoferraio) permette di raggiungere qualunque località elbana in ugual tempo, la struttura è nuova, le camere sono arredate con gusto e hanno tutto quello che può servire, Cristina è una presenza discreta ma efficientissima e le sue colazioni sono uno spettacolo da far invidia ai più quotati hotel. Un posto magico, un'accoglienza e una gentilezza fuori dal comune.
Abbiamo trascorso 7 giorni indimenticabili, con le super colazioni (e le merende) preparate da Cristina e una stanza con tutte le comodità.
Ci torneremo sicuramente e lo consigliamo vivamente.
Ci mancano già anche i labrador Creonte e Medea, la micia Tilde, Guendalina e le paperelle e le pecore guardone.

Siamo stati in questo angolo di paradiso dell'Isola d'Elba per troppi pochi giorni.
La Signora Cristina assieme al marito Vittorio e alla loro figlia Virginia ci hanno accolto in questo stupendo B&B, e ci hanno coccolato con meravigliose colazioni, informazioni sull'Isola che non avevamo mai visto e consigliato ristoranti eccezionali per la sera.
Il posto, la camera, le colazioni erano divini.
Quando torneremo all'Elba, sicuramente alloggeremo in questa meravigliosa struttura.

Gestione famigliare per questa struttura, che non è sul mare ma in posizione comoda per tutta la zona di Porto Ferraio e vicina a spiagge bellissime come Sansone. I due bilocali sono nuovissimi, superpuliti e arredati con molto gusto e cura dei dettagli. La colazione è ottima, con tanto di torte favolose fatte in casa e spremute fatte al momento. Cristina e la sua famiglia, i gestori, sono simpatici e accoglienti, molto disponibili, e pieni di attenzioni. Se amate gli animali non c’e posto migliore: oltre ai 3 cani (ah no, Giendalina è un’oca) e alle 2 gattine, ci sono 2 pecore, alcuni galletti (ma la mattina non cantano, si dorme magnificamente) e perfino dei germani reali! Noi siamo stati benissimo, un vero buen ritiro in cui torneremo sicuramente.

Amazing place immerse in nature ut very close to Portoferraio and conveniently positioned to reach all the beautiful beaches on the island. Cristina and Vittorio are the perfect hosts, discreet but present if you need them. The breakfasts are to die for. Cristina will prepare new, handmade cakes very morning, muffins, crostatas filled with her mythical handmade apricot jam, fresh eggs, ham, cheese. To complete the picture: two beautiful dogs and a goose will welcome to this beautiful podere.

Meravigliosa oasi immersa nella natura delle colline di Portoferraio, a due passi dal paese e dalle migliori spiagge dell’isola. Le camere della struttura sono incantevoli, arredate con gusto antico rivisitato in chiave moderna, dotate di tutti i confort e pulite meticolosamente. I proprietari sono persone splendide, disponibili e gentili, e propongono una colazione ricca e variegata, rigorosamente prodotta con alimenti biologici (a km. 0). Sono rimasto entusiasta del mio soggiorno, certo di un mio ritorno in futuro, lo consiglio a chiunque volesse scegliere una location d’eccellenza in questa fantastica isola.

È stato un soggiorno meraviglioso, Cristina Vittorio e Virginia sono stati da subito molto affabili e disponibili. Le stanze accoglienti e confortevoli, molto curate nei dettagli. Che dire della colazione? Semplicemente ottima, ricca e varia, con molte preparazioni fatte in casa, dalla marmellata di melograno al ciambellone elbano ai pancake, utilizzando rigorosamente uova delle loro galline.
La struttura è a 5 minuti da Portoferraio, posizione pirla per godere della tranquillità del luogo senza essere distanti dalle attrattive locali.
