The Emperor's Farmhouse is a countryside residence just a few meters away from Napoleon's villa. The rooms are inspired by two women from Napoleon's life: his lover and his sister.
Surrounded by nature, with animals living freely, the farmhouse tells a distant but immortal story that can be felt both inside and outside its walls.
Outside, the common areas are fully available, starting from the courtyard where breakfast will be served every morning.
The accommodation consists of a bedroom with a double bed and a living room with a sofa bed, as well as an independent entrance and a private bathroom.

The most difficult thing is to describe itself, but I'll try. I am 52 years old, I graduated ITC (Commercial Technical Institute) married with the love of my life for a good 37 years and mother of a 28 year old daughter who is the light of our eyes. We live with us Creon and Medea, our two wonderful Labradors, Guendalina, a goose with a curious story that you will know only if you come to visit us, and two tiny kittens born just over a month.
For the past 25 years I have been instructing Jazzercise (an American Fitness program) and here is the first question you will surely ask yourself: what does a fitness teacher have to do with a B & B? In reality, nothing but I believe I am one of those people who have so many passions and who in the course of their lives try to realize them all or almost.
"The Podere dell'Imperatore", as we have called it, is the realization of a desire that I carry with me since I was a child. A country house surrounded by animals, where you can wake up with the song of the rooster or with the chirping of birds, where you can dine under a candlelit tree with a background of crickets and frogs that seem to sing a stoned lullaby and..have the house always full of friends. Well, our house is just like that. It is always open and anyone who comes to the farm feels at home.
Friendliness, hospitality, availability, I think they are only some of the characteristics for which people appreciate us. We believe that only a life spent for others is a life worth living. So we are waiting for you to take care of you on your holiday on the island of Elba, immersed in nature.

Our holiday was perfect at this B&B. Every detail was cared for with extreme attention and there was a welcoming, relaxing atmosphere. Rarely have we had such warm hosts, for us it is a small paradise! The room is very well equipped, everything you need is available. In nice weather, breakfast outside on the terrace, freshly baked cakes and cookies, and the best cappuccino on the island! We will gladly come back!

The structure is complete with all the comforts: it consists of two spacious rooms furnished with taste: living room, large bedroom, quality Wi-Fi, Netflix, a spacious and comfortable bathroom. The location is central to the island in the valley of San Martino, very quiet and just a few steps (real ones) from the Napoleonic residence. The real strength of the structure is: Virginia, dad Vittorio and Irene... fantastic people to chat with amicably in the morning over excellent breakfasts (Virginia's cakes are award-winning), kind, helpful, in short, they make you feel at home... A true paradise, we stayed from 17th to 22nd June 2024 and we had a really great time. The property is managed by Virginia, a very nice and helpful girl, along with her father Vittorio, who takes care of the maintenance of the place. There are also several animals that are part of that beautiful family, so for those who love animals like us, it is the perfect place. The breakfasts are abundant and prepared with very fresh and healthy ingredients. We highly recommend Il Podere dell'Imperatore to anyone who wants to spend a holiday on the beautiful island of Elba. Virginia and Vittorio are two fantastic people, very friendly and helpful but always discreet. The structure is cared for in every detail and equipped with all the comforts, with the advantage of being in the middle of nature in a very well-kept and quiet place. The breakfast is based on homemade and always different products. Virginia gave us valuable advice on what to visit or where to eat on the island. The location is strategic, just outside Portoferraio, and from here you can easily reach all areas of the island. If you love animals, then, this place is a true paradise! Ludovico and I left a piece of our hearts here!

A paradise within paradise. A charming location, tranquility and relaxation. Impeccable management, Virginia and Vittorio are unparalleled, very sweet and efficient. Staying at Il Podere dell'Imperatore was like listening to good music, without ever a wrong note. Enchanting place, in the countryside but a stone's throw from the sea, managed by a very kind family, always present but never intrusive. Large room, carefully furnished and very clean. Super breakfasts with homemade pastries, fruit, savory options and anything you could wish for, all served under the branches of a centuries-old apricot tree. And when you return tired after a day at the sea or after a wonderful trekking experience in Elba, you can relax on the comfortable sun loungers provided in the garden right in front of the room. Everything really well taken care of and perfect. Rating 10 out of 10!

We stayed at this magnificent property, my partner and I, for a week and everything was magnificent. The property is very well-kept and immersed in greenery with a spectacular view. The managers, Cristina and Vittorio, along with the rest of the family, are very kind, helpful, and attentive to the guests' needs and immediately make you feel at ease. The rooms are very beautiful, well-kept, and spacious. The breakfast is sublime and very rich with fresh pastries prepared by Cristina. There is also savory food, fruits, and other delicacies. The company of the various animal friends that color the environment and are part of the family is also excellent. We really did not find any negative notes. Thanks to Vittorio, Cristina, and the rest of the family for making us spend a beautiful week.

I stayed with my partner for a week in this property and we had a great time. The owners were very kind, located a few kilometers from the center of Portoferraio, I also gave the highest rating on the location even though it is far from the sea because it is very peaceful. At night, a starry sky visible to the naked eye and during the day a tranquility, a peace that sometimes we didn't even want to go to the beach. One of those places you hope to return to.

Magical place just outside the center, surrounded by nature among geese, ducks, and two very sweet big dogs. The B&B is magnificent, quiet, immersed in the greenery. The rooms, or rather, the suites are spacious, bright, clean. The breakfast prepared by Cristina is always abundant and with some new features in the homemade sweets. The owners are always available for suggestions on the stay, recommending beaches, excursions, restaurants, cultural activities. We had a fantastic stay. Absolutely recommended.

We stayed for 5 nights with the intention of relaxing and resting. We could not have found a better place and people than Il Podere dell'Imperatore and Cristina and Vittorio who manage it. Saying that everything is amazing is an understatement. The central location compared to Elba (inland from Portoferraio) allows you to reach any Elban location in the same amount of time. The structure is new, the rooms are tastefully furnished and have everything you could need. Cristina is a discreet but very efficient presence, and her breakfasts are a spectacle to envy the most renowned hotels. If, like us, you love animals, then this is the ideal place. Two dogs, two cats, two sheep, ducks, geese, rooster, hens, turkey, and the goose Guendalina and her group of 6 adopted ducklings. Thank you for everything and goodbye because we will definitely return.

A magical place, an extraordinary welcome and kindness out of the ordinary.
We spent 7 unforgettable days, with super breakfasts (and snacks) prepared by Cristina and a room with all the comforts.
We will definitely come back and highly recommend it.

We stayed in this corner of paradise of the Island of Elba for too few days. Mrs. Cristina along with her husband Vittorio and their daughter Virginia welcomed us to this wonderful B&B, and pampered us with marvelous breakfasts, information about the island that we had never seen before, and recommended exceptional restaurants for the evening. The place, the room, the breakfasts were divine. When we return to Elba, we will definitely stay in this wonderful property.

Family management for this property, which is not by the sea but in a convenient location for the entire Porto Ferraio area and close to beautiful beaches like Sansone. The two two-room apartments are brand new, super clean, and furnished with great taste and attention to detail. The breakfast is excellent, complete with fabulous homemade cakes and freshly squeezed juices. Cristina and her family, the managers, are friendly and welcoming, very helpful, and full of attention. If you love animals, there is no better place: in addition to the 3 dogs (oh, no, Giendalina is a goose) and the 2 kittens, there are 2 sheep, some roosters (but they don't sing in the morning, you sleep magnificently) and even real mallards! We had a great time, a true retreat where we will definitely return.

Amazing place immersed in nature but very close to Portoferraio and conveniently positioned to reach all the beautiful beaches on the island. Cristina and Vittorio are the perfect hosts, discreet but present if you need them. The breakfasts are to die for. Cristina will prepare new, handmade cakes every morning, muffins, crostatas filled with her mythical handmade apricot jam, fresh eggs, ham, cheese. To complete the picture: two beautiful dogs and a goose will welcome you to this beautiful podere.

Wonderful oasis immersed in the nature of the hills of Portoferraio, a stone's throw from the town and the best beaches on the island. The rooms of the structure are lovely, furnished with antique taste revisited in a modern key, equipped with all comforts and meticulously clean. The owners are wonderful people, helpful and kind, and offer a rich and varied breakfast, strictly made with organic food (0 km). I was thrilled with my stay, sure of my return in the future, I recommend it to anyone who wants to choose an excellent location on this fantastic island.

It was a wonderful stay, Cristina Vittorio and Virginia were immediately very friendly and helpful. The rooms are cozy and comfortable, very well cared for in the details. What about breakfast? Simply excellent, rich and varied, with many homemade preparations, from pomegranate jam to Elban donut to pancakes, strictly using eggs from their hens. The structure is 5 minutes from Portoferraio, a great location to enjoy the tranquility of the place without being far from local attractions. We hope to return soon. Laura, Fabio, Ida and Luigi.
