Description
“Il Podere della Strega” is a farmhouse which was built at the end of the 17th century. It has recently been lovingly restored, in order to maintain the original structure but ensure all the necessary comforts for guests. The house is surrounded by a large olive grove, with a unique, incomparable view over the city of Siena.
Inside, the house contains carefully selected furniture, including items belonging to the owner’s family. In addition to the six bedrooms, there are also two sitting rooms for guests to use, a dining room and two kitchens where breakfast is prepared. To the right of the house is a large covered patio where breakfast is served during the summer months. To the left of the house is “Villa la Strega” which can be booked.
In front of the house, surrounded by the greenery of the olive grove, is an in-ground saltwater swimming pool, from which guests can enjoy the breathtaking views.
Inside, the house contains carefully selected furniture, including items belonging to the owner’s family. In addition to the six bedrooms, there are also two sitting rooms for guests to use, a dining room and two kitchens where breakfast is prepared. To the right of the house is a large covered patio where breakfast is served during the summer months. To the left of the house is “Villa la Strega” which can be booked.

The breakfasts are served, both in winter and in summer, at a communal table so that guests can socialize with each other.
Usually breakfast is served from 8. 30 to 10, but Ms. Letizia is always very helpful and tries to meet every need.
In winter, breakfast is served the first floor dining room, with beautiful views over Siena, while in summer there's big table outdoor.
Guests can choose between freshly baked croissants, often homemade cookies or cakes, cereals and toast, to be accompanied with a selection of homemade jams and local honey.
Also available are seasonal fresh fruit, yogurt, fruit juices and milk, and - for connoisseurs - Tuscan meats and cheeses, possibly to be tasted with some extra virgin olive oil of our own production.
The landlady will prepare you coffee, espresso, cappuccino or tea, according to your preferences.

- Exit at Siena Nord, follow the signs to the Railway Station (underbridge) and continue for AREZZO - ROME.
- At the third roundabout after the train station, go left onto SP. 408 in direction MONTEVARCHI/ GAIOLE IN CHIANTI/ PIANELLA.
- After about 1. 5 km, where you see the sign marking the end of SIENA, take the right turn into Strada dell'Ascarello and continue on this country lane almost until the end, where you find Podere La Strega on the right (at number 6, grey gate).

- From the motorway A1 ROMA - MILAN (direction FIRENZE), exit at Bettolle-Sinalunga and continue on the fastway to Siena.

Struttura in posizione strepitosa subito fuori da Siena. La location bellissima con piscina spettacolare in mezzo al verde.
La colazione è eccellente con prodotti fatti dai proprietari persone amabilissime. Olio eccellente prodotto da loro.
Ci tornerò sicuramente.

La struttura è molto bella ed il panorama su Siena è spettacolare. I proprietari sono gentili e disponibili, la colazione è abbondante. Unica nota di attenzione da segnalare è la strada molto stretta di accesso alla struttura.
